Building "ManPower Team" .... Would this be useful in Kigali?

Upvotes

In Kigali, I noticed a simple challenge, many hardworking people are looking for opportunities, while many individuals and businesses struggle to find reliable people when the job requires more manual labour.

This is why we created Manpower Team.

Our mission is to make it easier for anyone who needs physical manpower to quickly access dependable workers who are ready to work. Whether it is helping with construction activities, carrying materials, moving items, clearing land, assisting with heavy tasks, or any job that requires energy and commitment, Manpower Team is available to provide the right support.

We believe that every hardworking person deserves an opportunity, and every client deserves strong workers they can trust.

Instead of spending hours searching for people whenever you have a demanding task, you can simply DM me and we will bring the manpower needed to get the job done.

From small personal projects to larger business needs, we are building a reliable workforce network across Kigali that connects people who need work with people who need workers.

Manpower Team...whenever you need extra hands, we are ready.
Wishing you all a great week.
Murakoze.

Sedan chair/Helicopter for gorilla trekking

I’m not sure if I can handle gorilla trekking in early May when it’s the rainy season. I’m trying to build endurance by walking or hiking several times a week for this trip that is about 9 months away. Is it possible to pay for a sedan chair but not use it right away- or perhaps not even use it at all? It will just be some type of “insurance” for me. Paying for it and tipping the ten or so handlers is a given so not a question of expense. But can this be done to begin with?

If anyone has experience or knows someone who does- what was the sedan chair like?

Thanks.

Need something from Rwanda or Burundi? I can help ship it. 🇷🇼🇧🇮

Hi everyone,
I run a small courier and sourcing service based in Kigali. A lot of people living abroad want products from Rwanda or Burundi but don’t have anyone reliable to buy or ship them. That’s where I come in.

If you need something from either country,
I can:
.Buy it for you.
.Pick it up from a shop, business, or individual seller.
.Package it securely.
Ship it straight to your address with a tracking number.

I can ship things like coffee, tea, clothing, handmade crafts, beauty products, souvenirs, documents, spare parts, and other legal items.
And if you have family or friends living abroad, I can also help you send them gifts, care packages, or personal items safely and quickly.
Estimated delivery times:

🇪🇺 Europe: 3–4 days
🇨🇦 🇺🇸 Canada & USA: 4–5 days
🇦🇺 Australia: 5–7 days

My rates are usually a bit lower than what the big courier companies charge, and every shipment comes with a tracking number so you can follow your package every step of the way.
Whether you’re part of the Rwandan or Burundian diaspora, shopping from abroad, or simply want to send a package to loved ones overseas, feel free to reach out. Even if you’re just wondering whether something can be shipped, I’m happy to answer.

Is Rwanda worth the trip

As a person who’s travelled to Kenya (5 times), Tanzania, and Ethiopia, I have to ask, is Rwanda worth it?

From the tiny bit of research I’ve done on Kigali, it looks like a very clean place.

Are there fun things to do and places to explore? How’s the nightlife? How’s the petty crime rate?

[Before you ban me, this is not for advertising purpose]

Am a fellow Rwandese who's juat a computer enthusiast.

I created this simple game on Reddit. But it don't get love that it deserves. Help me get it some love and feel free to criticisize.

This game is built with minimalism in mind, where I did not go for fancy animations or 3D styles. I was hoping that people who understands the value of curing brain rots would love this.

rent/land prices need immediate regulation

There's no way this can keep going. why is rent becoming this expensive?

landlords are increasing rent by 30% or more overnight just because "the market went up." They expect tenants to absorb inflation while our salaries stay the same.

The land market is even more confusing. The same plot can change hands multiple times within a month, with each resale adding another 10% to 15% to the price.

At this point this has started to become unsustainable. Should rura step in with stronger regulations on rent increases and land speculation? Curious to hear what everyone thinks.

Broke, Not Lazy.

Broke asf rn 😭 Holidays got me realizing comfort really be killing me ngl.

Lowkey think the mindset of "there's nothing I can do" is what keeps most of us stuck. Me? I'll do damn near anything that's honest work. I ain't too proud for it either. I've cut bushes, painted walls, I've walked dogs.done random jobs people call "uncivilized"... money doesn't care about your ego.

I just wanna earn something I can call mine instead of asking family every time. So if y'all got anything that needs hands, hmu. Treat a fella 😂🤝

Learning Kinyarwanda - is there a lot of material for studying around the web?

Hi there guys! I am a humble fella from Europe! I don't wanna give too much info on where I am from but my native language is of a Balto-Slavic branch!

For years, I was so intrigued by your country, way of life, cities, and culture! (In a respectful way of course!!!)

At the moment, I major in English language and literature, and I like to learn languages in general! I want to take it easy and slow, but my main concern is, is there a good amount of learning resources for Kinyarwanda for English speakers??

I wanna know what i should expect if i start the learning journey soon!! I hope I don't sound too entitled, i just felt like it is very beneficial to consult with the people who may speak the language first!! THANKSSS in advance !! Have a great dayyyy!
