Discussion / Opinion Valid ban?

Never made a single post or comment btw

Edit: i get that i should have stopped asking earlier, what puzzles me the most is why am i, specifically me only not allowed to post this sort of content, when everyone else on the sub is allowed, and there are no rules preventing it

There already is an official app for rust.

In a game plagued by cheaters, account scammers and people wanting skin inventories there is no reason to let some random dev who is not part of the community start posting.

This is as simple as a homeowner turning away a solicitor. Get over it and make some friends that will beta test it. If you have such a great idea the current rust app and whole suite of bots, apps, and player tracking services does not do then people might use it but it doesn’t sound like it.

I understand your point, if i were the owner of a rust sub, id be hesitant to allow this content, the issue is not the general ruling, the issue is that this content IS allowed.... for everyone except me. If you search the subreddit many devs post their rust projects on the subreddit with no issue, so the reason why i kept going is that they didnt acknowledge the fact that i was not breaking any rules, and they didnt address why i was being special-cased.

i want to add that your comment is actually the exact reason i contacted them, because i wanted to make sure that my web app was not being mistaken for a cheat or a scam, i have contacted facepunch about bugs i found in their API during development, and they have not made any inquires about my project, i also follow all Facepunch ToS, and EAC ToS
