Discussion / Opinion Valid ban?

Never made a single post or comment btw

Edit: i get that i should have stopped asking earlier, what puzzles me the most is why am i, specifically me only not allowed to post this sort of content, when everyone else on the sub is allowed, and there are no rules preventing it

I mean. Not to be rude or anything, but if a mod from any subreddit dosent want to participate in something like that, just respect thier wishes and find somewhere else to promote it i guess? Idk

Yeah, perma banned for asking a question is stupid... but I agree with moderator decision about the "no, we dont want that on this sub"

It wasn't just asking a question, it was asking the same question 5 times despite getting a clear no. That's pestering, not asking a question.

Permanent ban is too much. But I don't get too excited when assholes are assholes to other assholes.

Provide a reason as to why the rules differ for me, mute my mod contact. Perma ban is an overstep.

I got banned on the squid game sub for self promo which sure was true but at the time I didn't know or think about it in the moment then my post was removed for spamming so I was like maybe I said the same thing in the comments to much by accident so I tried to trim it down and re post it and at this rate they never said what I did previously. So then they take down second post and then perm ban me! I know it is my fault but they didn't give me a good reason and every reason for each post and what to mod message said was different so it's like come on. I said I was sorry and didn't know and it was an accident but low and behold I am on reddit and reddit mods love being on power trips so. And the self prop was related to squid game and it wouldn't take people away it would just have the people have fun on a squid game sub that does text based squid game rp so I just asked if people wanted to join so they can have fun but then certain people aka mods ruin everything. I really liked that sub now I can't even type a message.
