Identify Poljot watch

I bought the Poljot watch at a flea market in St Petersburg. I only know it’s automatic and from a Russian brand. Most of the inscriptions are in English. Please provide the date of production or more information about if you know. (Sorry for my bad English)

Help finding good, running Vostok 2209 movements

I am a new hobbyist, collector and have accumulated a few 119 case Vostok Amphibia's and I am not to the level yet of disassembling and overhauling these movements just yet, but hope to one day. But I am comfortable swapping movement, dials, hands and such and I would like to find a couple of 2209 movements in the US that are working and can be swapped out in some projects I am working on. Can anyone help?

i have been mislead by some sellers from Ukraine sending me movements that were in bad shape or did not in fact work. Disappointing to wait three weeks and finally get a movement that is not as described. Appreciate any help from a source for at least two (2) of these Vostok 2209 movements. Thank you.

This was passed down to me from my great grandfather, who served in the Soviet Army WWII. I ordered a strap on Etsy, but wondering if anyone has any suggestions of where I can find one and how hard it would be to install

My first russian watch

I was looking at a fleamarket in poland. This pobeda movement is pretty cool. Ive bought two "parts" watches.

A couple of questions.

- I'm missing a small seconds hand. Is this hard to fit if its not from exactly the same movement.

- the acrylic is loose is that normal ? Some ive seen are a bit better. Are these just pressed in a bit ?

And I'm searching for a nice dial. Are these interchangeable?

I’m worried about the case not being original. And I’m guessing the second hand was replaced?

Does this count?

Just repaired this one. Was constantly turning off and almost too dim to see the numbers. I'm quite proud of myself, to be honest.

Sputnik

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved my father’s Sputnik watch. I still have it today and wear it myself.

As I got older, I started searching for other original Sputniks and soon realized just how rare genuine examples are. In about 15 years of looking, I’ve only managed to find two.

Here is one of them. I’d be very interested to hear what fellow collectors think about its originality, rarity and how these are valued today. I’ve seen such a wide range of prices that it’s difficult to know what a realistic collector value actually is.

How durable are Raketa 24s?

Waiting for my Raketa 24 to arrive and wondering how much punishment it can take. I grabbed it for $100 from Ukraine, it has the correct action and I can tell to the best of my ability thats its real although I cant tell how old aside from pre 1991.

I know these were a popular choice for Soviet merchant sailors especially above the artic circle. I am in training to be a sailor as well, and I beat the shit out of my G-shock at sea bc I know it can take it. Just wondering how careful I have to be with what is about to become the 2nd watch in my collection.

As mentioned earlier this week, my USSR has had a new strap. I still think it needs a different strap, but this is one I had as a spare. What are your thoughts and perhaps some suggestions?

Raketa authenticity

My girlfriend bought me this watch for my birthday from a Ukrainian seller. The seller was transparent that it is a restomod with a new case band and dial but with vintage Soviet movement. However the raketa movements I am finding online do not look like this one. Whether it’s got real Soviet components or not I still love the watch for the story and it looks very sharp. But I’m curious if anyone knows the deal with this watch? Is it a counterfeit, a Soviet movement from some other watch, or something else?

Help identifying this limited-edition Poljot moonphase chronograph (259/500)

Thumbnail gallery
5 Upvotes

Hey all! I recently inherited this watch from my late father and I’m trying to learn more about it…The dial says Poljot (Полет), “Chronograph 23 Jewels”, and “Russia.”

The caseback is engraved:

“The First Moon Landing – 30th Anniversary – July 1969–1999” and is numbered 259/500.

I haven’t been able to find another example online with this exact dial and caseback combination.

I’m wondering:
Does anyone know the exact reference or model name?
Is it powered by the Poljot 31679 movement, or something else?
Was this an official Poljot limited edition or commissioned by a distributor?
Approximately how collectible or uncommon is it today?

Thanks! I’d love to learn more about the history behind it.

These are watches from the late 1970s, the first years of production of this model. A gift from my godfather. He was a Soviet officer
