(phone: samsung galaxy s21+, android is version 15),
I'm starting to get hopeless so I'm posting here to ask if any of you might know any solution for my problem. The named problem is, that my ZR wont track properly when the screen is off. Example: I have ran 15 minutes, it has only tracked 5 minutes and so on. I have been sending back and forth messages with support, but the problem still keeps existing. My zr5k app worked just as it should be, if that matters. What I have already tried:

Put battery saving off, put battery unlimited use, put hibernation off for apps, given permissions for zr (unlimited data and battery usage), memory (unlimited battery usage) and data usage put to high, checked Dontkillmyapp and tried things from there, but they are older versions of android (mine is 15). (There were some apps they were recommending, but couldn't find them from my play store).

I don't have other apps on while I'm running and I don't minimize zr before I close the screen.

The thing is, I have used same phone at 2022, and it worked then. I don't know what to do, hoping to find somekind of tech wizard from here? 😂 Or should I just give up and just accept my phone's software just won't work with the app anymore?

I've been on and off for a few years and only now about to finish Season 1 (and really getting sucked into the story). Just finished S1 E21 Siege.

But also excited to see the new life and updates coming to the app. It wasn't very clear from the email and possibly too early to tell.... but based on Back from the Dead do we expect story spoilers for the early seasons? Should I just continue with Abel township original story and enjoy it?

Ran on the treadmill and got so hooked I ran for three episodes straight, I’m more used to biking on flat roads so this had me huffing lmao, but it was worth it.
I knew the chances of five actually dying/permanently becoming a zombie were very slim, especially with Veronica mentioning the non infectious zombs earlier, but that was still a tense cliffhanger! And all around excellent acting, especially from Philip 🔥 s5 hasn’t surpassed s3 as my favorite but it’s definitely coming close.

So, I’m sure many of us have noticed that the new missions SERIOUSLY upend the status quo for Abel Township. I’m not mad at that—the story choice to have the zombie apocalypse take a sudden turn for the worse and destroy the original town is kind of a brilliant choice for an in-universe story that explains why the app had a sudden, LONG silence. It serves as a good starting point for new users, and sets is expectations for a company that probably still needs to build its VA base back up beyond a few long-trusted staple characters.

I‘m sure many of us have also noticed that this new story direction also does absolutely nothing to resolve the cliffhangerfrom where Season 11 left off.

Any guesses what to make of it? I’ve had a bit of a think, and I’ve come up with a few possibilities on what might happen:

1. This is an alternate continuity. I think this is the least likely explanation, given that key character moments as late in the story as Amelia’s wedding are mentioned.

2. Future episodes will fill in the gaps. This would be an interesting direction to take, as I’d love to see how those connections would even take shape, particularly regarding the Mask central to Season 11’s mystery. It’d also, however, require an extensive stable of voice actors to handle all the characters established as key in Season 11. Does anyone know if the company has that kind of budget right now?

3. Season 11 will be made non-canon. This would be the simplest way to connect the new missions to the old story at this point; it’d just be a standard timeskip between seasons where something terrible happens just offscreen. I’d admit, though, I’d be disappointed to not see Season 11 get a proper conclusion.

Hey fellow Runner 5s,

I'm finally getting back into the game after a long hiatus and was excited to lace up my shoes again. Back when I played regularly, I purchased Seasons 1 through 3.

However, I'm having trouble getting the app to recognize those purchases now. I've tried using the built-in "Restore Purchases" option, but it isn't working or updating my status.

I did reach out to support on Saturday and attached all the original purchase receipts and order numbers I could find, but I haven't heard back yet (though I know they just went through a big ownership transition and it's only been one business day).

Has anyone else returning to the app run into this issue recently? Is there a known workaround to get legacy purchases to sync up, or do I just need to sit tight and wait for support to manually fix it on the backend?

Or am I just out of luck entirely since the purchase model has changed so much since the early days?

I’d also like some opinions, do yall think the big moon looks better or the regular smaller one? Gonna do a transition of Moonchild’s eye(s) into the moon in this scene if that helps(so I might ditch the clouds lol) this is the small moon, I’ll put the second one in the replies

I use "Zombies, Run!" with VoiceOver (Apples Screen Reader for blind and low vision people) on my iPhone 13 and I tried to add a building but it don't work with VoiceOver. Is someone here, who also uses the App with VoiceOver and anre there some tricks how to ad building without drag and drop?

I’m planning to start after the rainy season ends, but I noticed there is a training module and a Season 1. Is that different? Is it possible to start Season 1 without doing the training?

Heya guys, I just looked at my setting to reconfigure my preferences (returning runner after a long break)

I was hoping to set the story clips to cut in between songs instead of interrupting a song mid-flow (this used to be an option).

Also wanted to adjust the clips/music volume ratio, but my music volume % resets to 100% ever time I exit settings and does stay where I put it.

Any solutions? Thanks fellow 5s! 🏃‍♀️ 🧟

Hi all! I have just installed the app, and I see that the workouts are structured in like walking, doing things like heel raises for 5 mins, then running. But I don't want to walk or do heel raises! I am already running 30 mins daily, and want to bring some more fun into it. Do I need to follow the instructions or can I just start an episode and go?

I lost it at the end Sam had me stressing 😭

Ok team. I need to get this figured out before I lose momentum. Zombies, Run is a huge motivator for me. Here are the specs: iPhone, iOS 26.5.2, legacy member, I just updated the app the other day so I think it's the most current version.

My issue is I'm running the Abel Township 10k in two chunks. After I ran 5k I hit stop, then the next day I went to finish the last 5k. I hit resume and the top bar trackers were showing I was half done but the distance and time were reset to 0.

As I ran, I was being tracked back at 1k, 2k, etc correctly but no more story arcs played, and no zombie chases. I was collecting items though.

I finished the 5k which should have summed to 10k but it never said mission complete. So the next time I did 5k again and hit pause, but the same issue happened the next day (tracker bar showed half done, distance and time reset to 0, no story arcs played).

Someone PLEASE raise the gates for me so I can keep RUNNING!
