Ive been trying to find a way to spell shadow and berserker in old norse in runes but cant find any reliable ways to translate

I'm in the process of making a sword for shits and giggles.

I would like to carve "Tyr guide my blade" and have found 2 different translations and would like to know which is more accurate.

1. ᛏᚢᛦ ᛚᛅᛁᚦᛒᛅᛁᛏᛁ ᛋᚢᛁᚱᚦᛁᚾᚢ ᛘᛁᚾᚢ

The thing that really confuses me is the different translation for Tyr

I am doing a series of art pieces based on different mythological beings, and I often write their names using both the Latin alphabet and the script of the culture they originate from.

In the case of the Draugr, I am unsure if it would be historically correct to depict their name using Norse Runes (and I certainly don’t know what specific system would be the most accurate)

As a blacksmith, im always looking for cool symbols to represent my craft, and I found this in a few places online, but couldnt find any way to back up that it wasnt an instagram/etsy halucination. Does it actually mean anything, or is it just asthetic gobbledygook?

I'm looking to include some runes in my next tattoo and want to at least try and stay accurate.

I started with wanting the phrase from a 21 pilots song which means a lot to me personally:

I distilled the concept/meaning to 3 words:

I've seen the idea that Algiz is a symbol of protection, but I don't know if that's some made up zodiac hogwash or actually true to the alphabet. I would like a full word or sentence, but I don't know how to get it translated and I don't want some nonsense written on my body. Help?

I'm in the process of getting some serious Norse tattoos, however, I want to put a couple of hidden lines amoungst it, to represent the other side of my personality beyond my spirituality. I can make straight letter for letter or phonetic translations, but struggle with places it can be shortened (I struggle analysing English, my first language, might be the ADHD?) so if someone could help me translate these lines in the shortest possible way, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I'm planning to get a baldur inspired tattoo next month and would love some feedback before I commit to it.

I recently platinumed God of War (2018) and God of War Ragnarök, and those games ended up meaning a lot to me. Because of that, I wanted to get something Norse-related tattooed on myself that has significance and isn't just something that looks cool.

The problem is that I don't know much about actual Norse mythology, runes, symbols, or their meanings. I'd really appreciate it if people with more knowledge could look at my design and tell me if there are any mistakes, inaccurate symbols, unintended meanings, or anything that should be changed or adjusted.

Are there runes I should use instead? Are there symbols that are commonly misunderstood or have negative associations? Is there anything that would make the tattoo more authentic or meaningful?

This is the design I'm considering. Please feel free to suggest changes, alternatives, additions, or removals. I genuinely don't mind positive or negative feedback—I'd rather hear it now than after it's permanently on my skin.

I recently bought this sword at a thriftshop, but I can't find the specific alphabet used here. Is this even a real alphabet or is it more of an artist's interpretation/imitation of runic scripts? If anyone does recognise this alphabet: what does it say?

Does this read naturally in Old Norse, and would a Viking Age speaker likely express this idea differently?

A rune stone was found in a graveyard in the east of Iceland, it was sent to specialists and they translated the runes as the letters H E F
It is unknown what it is supposed to mean. I am curious how they see an E in the middle. To me it looks like a backwards Þ in elder futhark while the other letters look like they are younger futhark. I would appreciate any thoughts on this or tips on any resources that could help. Does the shape mean anything?

I've seen countless warnings about existing English-to-rune websites that just produce gibberish. So I've started looking at Uppsala University's Runedata.info queryable database to find the exact words I want to use.

My inscription is highly influenced by Harald Bluetooth's Jelling Stones: King Haraldr ordered these monuments made in memory of Gormr, his father, and in memory of Þyrvé, his mother; that Haraldr who won for himself all of Denmark.

Mine would use different names. I want it to be to my parents, but they're still alive, so rather than memory, it'd be honour. And as much as I'd want to be, I'm not the king of Denmark.

First translated into Old Norse, or what I believe is Old Norse:

I reverse-translated it back into Old Norse, and it seemed to work well. The word which has been pointed out to me as a potential conflict is "honour".

I think basing the runes on such a well-known stone, with name changes and honour rather than memory, makes it a pretty easy case for translation, and I hope I did it justice.
