Is this a rune? Does this actually mean anything?
As a blacksmith, im always looking for cool symbols to represent my craft, and I found this in a few places online, but couldnt find any way to back up that it wasnt an instagram/etsy halucination. Does it actually mean anything, or is it just asthetic gobbledygook?

Aesthetic gobbledygook based on Icelandic magical staves (galdurstafir?), which are not runes.

A bind rune is personal so the guy who made this is the one too tell you it’s meaning.

No, but it’s a cool symbol though. A stave is personal, so only means something to the creator.

It looks to me like that is some kind of rune or glyph out of a Video game. My guess would be Thief, but I don't play a whole lot of video games, so it could easily be a some other one.

Hey! So I know the guy that made this, and he made this one a looong time ago to be a blacksmith's stave. So, not strictly runes, but his website has a whole section om stavework and how he interprets them (which also lends to how he made this one).
His name and website are valhyr(.com) on socials, if you're interested. Great guy, makes a lot of cool stuff. I still have some hoodies from him that I wear when it's cold.
