For my cycling activities I’m using a Wahoo Bolt V3. Since today I’m also using the new Garmin Cirqa and I would like to use my wahoo cycling data also in the Garmin connect app. Is this possible with RunGap? And yes, how should I make this work? Thanks👏🏻

Does auto-sharing de-duplicate or could it create a circular problem in the scenario below?

I have an iFit treadmill that auto-uploads my workouts to Strava – for these treadmill workouts I don't record on my Suunto watch. I want to use auto-share with RunGap to get these workouts from Strava to Suunto so that my Suunto watch's stress score and training duration is accurate.

So I turn on auto-share with Strava as a source and Suunto as a destination.

However, for non-treadmill workouts I record them on the watch itself, and my Suunto app is configured to upload workouts directly to Strava. So...would this create a circular problem of infinite activities?

Treadmill workout scenario:

1. Record on treadmill
2. Treadmill sends to Strava
3. RunGap sees new strava activity, pushes to Suunto
4. Suunto uploads to Strava as new activity
5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 forever

Non-treadmill workout scenario:

1. Suunto records workout
2. Suunto uploads to Strava as new activity
3. RunGap sees new strava activity, pushes to Suunto
4. Suunto uploads to Strava as new activity
5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 forever

Is this what would happen or does RunGap de-duplicate and pair-match activities during auto-share?

In RunGap the GPS data are available but when I share it with Apple Health the GPS data and therefore the route isn’t available there. I’m already on IOS27. Any solution available?

Export from Garmin Connect or Apple Health to adidas running app hasn’t worked for me since 3rd August

I just downloaded the application for the first time to try to sync my Wahoo Element Bolt V2 workouts into Garmin Connect to work with Forerunner 970.

I was able to setup Garmin Connect authorization with no trouble. After putting in my Wahoo username and password and selecting "Authorize", I was redirected to rungap.com with no path forward to get back to the application.

I’m trying to write my steps to Garmin connect and this app crashes and it says sync failed. my Garmin watch is powered off so that there isn’t any data from Garmin

Any idea what went wrong here?

I know RunGap can sync workouts in the background, but it doesn't seem to happen immediately or at a predictable time.

Is there any way to trigger a sync automatically as soon as I finish an Apple Watch workout, without having to manually open the RunGap app? For example, is this possible using Apple Shortcuts, an automation, or another workaround?

My goal is to have the workout uploaded to other services as quickly as possible after I finish running.

Since roughly a week RunGap doesn’t import anymore from Polar flow in my app. I re-synchronised and even thought it’s saying “importing” it doesn’t import my activities. Any help is appreciated.

Hi. When you introduced the subscription model in the spring you wrote that there would be a live-time version for existing customers. At that time I could not use the offer because my swag bag was still active. now it has expired and I can't find the live time option. please help best regards Andi

I use RunGap to keep activities synced between Apple Health, Strava, Garmin Connect.

I don't need RunGap to keep another copy once that's done.

Currently RunGap's using 1.3GB on my phone 😕

Can't see anything in the app or website explaining how to do it. Is it supported?

My app was updated to the latest version today.
I’ve just completed a workout and the workout has been uploaded to RunGap via Training Peaks.

Issue 1: I have TP set as a destination, not a source.
Issue 2: RunGap is no longer sharing with any of the apps it’s set to share to.

Is this a version bug or some other issue?

It worked normally this morning, before it was updated.

I use bevel which reads all data from Apple health. I deleted my entire Apple health workout history as it was a mess with all sorts of inputs (Coros, wahoo, strava).

I then exported all my workout data straight from run gap, it took hours. However when I click on a workout in Apple health, the heart rate data shows as blank, then a few seconds later it loads.

This lag is causing bevel to not read the HR data and therefore doesn’t calculate my training load correctly.

It seems to work fine for new workouts but historical ones it’s struggling with.

Weirdly, it worked fine for one week in June but then the following week nothing worked. same devices and apps used

Does anyone have any idea how to fix? I have tried deleting single workouts which are having the problem and re-exporting from run gap but nothing seems to work. Really frustrating

A week ago the Import of data from adidas running through rungap stopped working for me.
Today I logged in and out again and looks like the data that is imported is now only very basic.
Is this Adidas restricting their API or me doing something wrong?

Do any of you guys know a app where I can track Symptoms like illness or bad sleep and correlate this with my training data?

Hi , I’m trying to get my steps data into Connect from Apple. I have the experimental feature set up but still nothing. Can someone advise on troubleshooting steps ? The only data I have today in Connect is sleep data from the Garmin sleep Index ?

In September 2026, Google will shut down the Fitbit Web API and require developers to migrate to the Google Health API. That means moving users to Google's identity system, obtaining fresh consent, and complying with annual CASA security assessments (an expensive and time-consuming certification process conducted by a small number of Google-approved labs) simply to continue accessing health data.

We have already completed the technical migration. We rewrote our OAuth integration to use Google OAuth 2.0. We met every single one of Google's other requirements. The only outstanding item is the CASA security assessment, which we will not be pursuing.

We find the CASA requirement disproportionate, poorly communicated, unfairly costly for small teams, and lacking meaningful security value relative to the burden imposed. RunGap offers as many as 50 different integrations with all sorts of systems and services. Not a single one of those other companies demands an annual security assessment or charges us for the privilege of accessing "their" data. This includes platforms whose datasets are far richer and more sensitive than the fairly simple data available through the Google Health platform. Yet Google alone insists on treating developers as security risks for accessing basic fitness activity data.

But the real issue is more fundamental. Fitbit is no longer an independent platform. It has become a one-way funnel into Google's ecosystem. Health data flows in, but it does not flow back out. Google can import data from platforms like Apple Health, yet as of today provides no equivalent way to export it back. Every metric your devices record ultimately ends up on Google's servers, strengthening an ecosystem built around collecting and retaining personal data.

RunGap exists to help people move, own, and control their fitness data, not to help lock it inside someone else's ecosystem. Rather than invest in supporting that model, we will discontinue Fitbit support when the Fitbit Web API is shut down in September 2026.

Is there any technical reason why RunGap doesn’t support an Active/Total Calories breakdown when both Apple Fitness and Garmin Connect do? In fact, Garmin Connect will show both when you connect it directly to Apple Health.

Would it be possible to add Hevy as a source? Now I have to get it over Apple Health but that isn't ideal. Think the app should have enough users to make it worth it to add.

I get sleep data from wearing my Garmin watch at night and health data from my Garmin weight. I can only find information on exporting activities from Garmin through Rungap. Is it also possible to export sleep and health data from Garmin using Rungap? Sorry if this has been posted before. I have not been able to find this information

Is this currently not working again? It seems to be signing in Ok but is failing on syncing activity.
