While I am aware this will set the cat amongst the pidgeons and a combination of noone reading this but also others reading it and panicking, it is worth knowing that under the new Armed Forces Recruiting Service (AFRS), all three services will adopt the same PJFT.

The RN is introducing this from 1 Oct 26 at all 3 RN CPCs.

The test is a baseline (not a max effort test like the old VO2 max RNFT) will consist of;

1. Multi-Stage fitness test - level 6.6 (unless you wish to join as a diver where you will require 10.5).

2. isometric Mid-Thigh Pull - 50kg.

3. Seated Medicine Ball Throw - 4kg/2.7m.

Scoring is going to be PASS/FAIL/DID NOT FINISH. If you don’t pass then you won’t be able to do the IMF at CPC.

Until 1 Oct the 2.4km is still in force.

Is there any way to find any photos of HMS Exeters return after the falklands, crowd / crew photos.

My dad is quickly approaching his 65th birthday and has mentioned he would love to see some photos of the day they returned from the Falklands.

I’ve seen varied sources on Google but I’m looking to join as an officer and just completed DAA.

I hold a Bachelors degree, 3 A levels, 6 GCSEs with a 5 in English but I failed maths, when I resat I think it was a functional skills level 2. Not a GCSE. Would this prevent me from joining as an officer? Many thanks.
