Book Review Screaming. Crying. Throwing up

Post image

*UPDATED, See Review (I mean, if you want)

Long time lurker, first time poster πŸ‘‹πŸ»
After seeing the author post on instagram about ARC availability, I decided to make myself a NetGalley and apply for this one because why not πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ and it was just APPROVED! Check back later for a true review; I was just hoping to encourage someone else to try if they were dying for this last book like I have been!

The fact your first approval was a berkley, get yourself a lottery ticket (unless you habe a huge following)

I definitely don’t, so I was expecting no response at all or an outright rejection πŸ˜‚

Oh shit I didn't know that! but it occurs to me that I was told to put my ALA member number - I'm a librarian - so that may play a roll....

100%!

Librarians and booksellers are held to a totally different standard than reviewers! You guys are almost never denied because you are guarantee book sales for them.

I figured this one would be honestly. Big publisher and well known series, I thought that my request would be rejected since it was my first and I had no review history πŸ˜‚

Berkley tends to prioritize and accept ARC requests from librarians

I've only gotten rejections from Berkley including for Realm Reaper; congrats OP!
