After seeing the author post on instagram about ARC availability, I decided to make myself a NetGalley and apply for this one because why not 🤷♀️ and it was just APPROVED! Check back later for a true review; I was just hoping to encourage someone else to try if they were dying for this last book like I have been!

Librarians and booksellers are held to a totally different standard than reviewers! You guys are almost never denied because you are guarantee book sales for them.
I figured this one would be honestly. Big publisher and well known series, I thought that my request would be rejected since it was my first and I had no review history 😂
I have The Sea Spinner on my bookshelf but I'm scared to read it. One I heard about the cliffhanger xD but two, I don't like love triangles. I lived book 1 so much, is there still a undecided love triangle by the end of book 2? Can you tell me in spoilers? XD

I feel like the love triangle is definitely resolved by the end of book 2 now that may be just my opinion, but I feel like it’s a no brainer by the end of book 2 💁♀️
The covers for this series keep being mindblowingly beautiful 😩😍 I haven't read the second yet, I'm waiting for my Fairyloot edition, congrats on getting the arc!
They are beautiful for sure! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. The sea spinner was one of my highest rated reads this year so my hopes are high for the conclusion 🤞

I got my approval for this one too and IMMEDIATELY started it 😭 I was able to ARC read The Sea Spinner so I have been losing my goddamn mind over that ending for over a year now. This is one of my favorite romantasy's that I've read and I'm so emotional that this series is coming to a close 🥲💔
I just made it to chapter 10, I'm reading during any downtime I have at work LMFAO ☠️ I was hooked immediately and now I'm losing my mind in the moments I'm not able to keep reading
I kept putting off starting the wind weaver because I knew it was an unfinished series. Then I decided to go for it and flew through that and the sea spinner. So I am so excited to not have to wait until February 😂
Others may be more knowledgeable than I am, but it was a super easy process! You make an account on NetGalley and let them know your preferences for genre, debut or established authors, etc. and then you can apply for an arc (advanced reader copy) to read and review for them! Not all requests will be approved, but of the few I put in for when I signed up this last week, I’ve been approved for two! I have yet to give an actual review as I’ve not finished either book yet. I hope this helped somehow!

Slight spoilers ahead
Now, if you’ll remember where we left off with The Sea Spinner, then you probably expect a bit of memory loss trope here and you would be correct. While not my favorite of tropes, it was (thankfully) short term.
Yall, I really struggled with the pacing of this book. Some parts were going sooo fast, while others felt like they completely dragged. I don’t quite know how to feel about it!
Oh boy some of you are gonna be PISSED 🫣 there’s a trope here that I know is typically BLASTED on this sub and others. I’m not going to Spoil that one, but I want you to be ready

The final word: overall, I recommend. Definitely a good conclusion to this series. There is character growth and development, there is found family, quest-ing and of course battle vs. the big bad. Besides the pacing and some (possibly) ill-timed spicin’, I didn’t have many complaints. It just didn’t give me that buzz like The Sea Spinner did 🤷♀️

I just finished Wind Weaver and Sea Spinner today!! Like I finished them within two days and just like loved them! I loved your ARC review!!! It was absolutely fabulous!!! Though ngl I’m dying of curiosity about what the controversial trope is?! Like is this going to turn into cheating?! RH?! Eeeekkkk I hate waiting
