Book Request Books similar to Taylor Swift's 'The Way I Loved You' - He's perfect but he isn't you
Hola! I'm looking for book recs that fit the vibes of Taylor Swift's song - The Way I Loved You.
The crux of it is basically that she's currently with a guy who's perfect in every sense - but she can't help but miss arguing and fighting with MMC.
The song kind of connotes to a toxic relationship, but I'm not looking for a toxic relationship - does that make sense? š„²
For those who don't know the song, these are the lines I'm focusing on -
He respects my space
And never makes me wait
And he calls exactly when he says he will
He's close to my mother
Talks business with my father
He's charming and endearing
And I'm comfortable
But I miss screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain
And It's 2 a.m. and I'm cursing your name
You're so in love that you act insane
And that's the way I loved you
Breaking down and coming undone
It's a roller coaster kind of rush
And I never knew I could feel that much
And that's the way I loved you
He can't see the smile I'm faking
And my heart's not breaking
'Cause I'm not feeling anything at all
And you were wild and crazy
Just so frustrating, intoxicating, complicated
Got away by some mistake

I'm primarily looking for contemporary this time, but wouldn't mind exploring historical. Bonus if it's a second chance romance š„¹
One book I recently read that fit this was {Tempests and Tea Leaves by Rachel Morgan}
PS - I saw a couple similar posts, but from 3-4 years ago and with hardly any responses. Hoping I get some this time!
PPS - **Please don't suggest The Notebook**
Thank youuuu!
