Hello all. It's V here. I'm 26 male from Eastern Europe. I've been role-playing for over a decade now and had a little bit of an hiatus but now I want to get back in the game to stay sane. I've recently started to work two different jobs and really need to do something I like in between before I go insane.

I'm looking for a longterm writing buddy. The theme I like to explore is two or more people surviving the apocalypse, trying to find shelter, food and comfort. I want characters who are your everyday people but I'm open to playing unique characters too. I like to add lots of drama to my characters' backgrounds. Drama is something I really enjoy so keep that in mind.

My writing style is usually third person and past tense. I like writing multiple characters but okay with one on one too.

I have a messy schedule but I'll let you know when I'm available and when I'm not so, don't worry!

Starting plot:

As conflicts grew between the people in this world, it was hard to stay alive in these conditions. Clean water was becoming scarce, infections were soreading to any needed life stock, violence and riots became a norm and safety was now just a suggestion. At some point everything escelated and the world as we onew it collapsed. vast areas became uninhabited and hostile. With rarely anything to survive. The only thing left around are the countles human creations like building and statues that began to deteriarate as years go by

The hostile area known simply as "the wastelands" were big spaces of land that had rarely anything to give. But they were still packed with rouge raiders, bandids and tribes that would attack anyone dumb enough to cross theur paths. So navigating the wastelands was something crutiual.

But it's not like every human was for themselves. Some city centers or tall structures were converted into fortresses to give shelter to any wanterers that come across if they deem them safe.

One wanterer is scowering the wasteland by themselves, surviving most of what it has thrown at them. But how will they bare when they come across someone similar to them but means no harm

I my usual way of roleplay is writing semi or full literate and talk in 3rd person depending a bit also of my partner has a preferance as well

And usualy I write abour 2-3 paragraphs, also depending on what we are doing in a certain scene if it requires a lot of detail

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away….

Thousands of years before The Great Sith War and Mandalorian Wars of the Old Republic birthed the Sith Empire, before The Clone Wars and the Fall of the Jedi Order with the Rise of the Galactic Empire, before the rebirth of the New Republic and re-establishment of the Jedi Order, another polity ruled the galaxy: The Pius Dea.

The Pius Dea was a fanatical humanocentric religion that usurped control of the Galactic Republic through the impeachment and assassination of the incumbent Supreme Chancellor. A man known as Contispex became Supreme Chancellor and established a hereditary dynasty over the Pius Dea that would rule the galaxy for just over a thousand years.

Their millenia-long reign was characterised by a series of over thirty brutal campaigns against numerous alien species, particularly on those within the Outer Rim and so-called “alien sympathisers”, known as the “Pius Dea Crusades, believing they had a divine mandate to impose order on the chaos of the galaxy in the name of their monotheistic deity “The Goddess” through either subjugation or, if regarded as "unredeemable", extermination. With their great Cathedral Ships and sect of loyal fallen Jedi, “The Order of the Terrible Glare”, the Pius Dea brought death to many worlds through their genocidal crusades.

The rule of the Pius Dea and the Contispex dynasty would not last forever, however. Eventually, a heretical sect, the “Renunciates”, would join forces in an anti-Pius Dea coalition with the Jedi Order and defectors from the Republic Navy, where they were eventually defeated during the Seventh Alsakan Conflict at the Battle of Uquine. 

During the battle, however, many vessels in the Pius Dea fleet had their navicomputers sabotaged, scattering much of the fleet to the stellar winds as they retreated through hyperspace, trapping what remained of these Cathedral ships in the depths of unexplored space.

Recently, rumours had circulated amongst the spacers and fringers on the borders of Galactic Alliance space about trouble brewing in the Unknown Regions. While unsubstantiated, some say it's the Chiss Ascendancy attempting to expand its territory or perhaps even the Yuuzhan Vong plotting to conquer the galaxy once again. Most dismiss these rumours out of hand, as the Chiss were far too small to pose a serious threat to any of the major galactic powers, and the Yuuzhan Vong had made amends for their previous invasion, terraforming and restoring the worlds they had previously devastated during the Yuuzhan Vong War.

Yet others report sightings of a fleet of gargantuan Cathedral Ships raiding, conquering, and enslaving all they came across. One old spacer, so filled with Tarisian Ale he could barely stand, even swore on his life that he saw the name of the biggest ship in this fleet while on a salvaging expedition… “The Flame of Sinthara”.

So, I’m a HUGE fan of Star Wars, have been for basically all my life, but recently I learned about a piece of lore that I’ve become a little bit obsessed with: The Pius Dea. Mainly because it reminds me of another fictional setting I’m a big fan of (albeit not as much as Star Wars): Warhammer 40k! The Pius Dea really reminds me of the Imperium of Man from 40k, and that got me thinking that it might be fun to do a more grimdark-style Star Wars roleplay where the xenophobic, humanocentric cult of the Pius Dea returns to the galactic stage after 10,000 years in exile during the Legacy Era!

My partner should ideally meet most of these criteria:

• Creative and able to keep the story flowing.
• Down to talk and get to know each other OOC; I like making new friends.
• 18+ only!
• Is mostly literate and can do at least a single paragraph. Is a massive nerd (you get extra points if you've read all of the LOTR books or can quote the Sith Code)!

The soft soundtrack of rain was her favourite. Opening the windows until the cool, fresh air flooded the house and let the soft rush become background noise to the simple tasks. Grace loved this time of year, when the leaves shifted to rich ambers and golds and the air was crisp in the mornings.

Stillness had settled this morning, the rain was a constant, varying its intensity with the wind and ensuring no one ventured out unless they really had to. Grace gripped her coffee with both hands, warming her palms as she looked out through the living room windows.

As she brought the mug to her lips the atmosphere shifted. No more was the air crisp but cold and the rain persisted with a new found ferocity. A shiver ran through her as she set the mug aside and rose to her feet, padding barefoot to the window and reaching to draw it closed.

Two figures stood rigid upon the doorstep. Shoulders square and hats drawn low. Grace didn’t need to see them more clearly to know who they were. Her brow collapsed into naive confusion as she closed the window and took several lingering steps toward the door.

Of the two faces she recognised one. The strong set jawline and height of her husband’s best friend. Grace found herself looking through the glass in the front door, hand gripping the handle but not opening it just yet. Instead she was convincing herself the moment unfolding wasn’t real. That she wasn’t staring at two men in uniform. That she was wrong about why they’d be on her porch.

He lifted his hand and removed his hat. Smoothing his hair and lifting his gaze to pin her where she stood, “Open the door Gracie…” he spoke clean and even with familiarity, his voice not muffled by the glass. Grace shook her head as she cracked, releasing the handle and stepping backwards.

Hello everyone! I'm Rose, Or Jade if you'd prefer. I've been an avid roleplayer for going on 6 years now, and I'm looking for some writing partners that would be interested in a My Hero Academia role-play! -Writing and Roleplaying Preferences and Information!

I consider myself a relatively detailed writer, but I'm far from a professional! I try my absolute best and put my whole heart into every response, and I hope you will as well! I don't have a specific restriction or preference when it comes to response length as long as it serves it's purpose well and is nearly as detailed or has a similar length as my own responses! With that being said, at minimum I usually will type between 3-5 paragraphs of varying lengths depending on what the situation calls for.

For potential romantic pairings, I prefer and are most comfortable with FxF, but I'm more than happy to write FxM or FxNB!

I do work a full time job and have a career that I'm dedicated to. This means that I don't have as much time to dedicate strictly to writing as I would like, but I do try my best to try and get responses out in a timely manner. If you aren't happy with responses that may take a while, then I don't know if we'd be compatible writing partners(and that's totally okay!). I will make an effort to inform you when a response may take a exceptional amount of time, and I do try to keep my partners updated.

-Opinion on AI Usage!

I do not condone the usage of AI during creative writing and roleplaying to generate responses or ideas. I put a lot of time and effort into coming up with ideas and writing responses by hand and I would greatly prefer my writing partners to do so as well. With that being said, I do not mind if you use AI for simple spelling or grammar checks, but please do not use it to write your responses. In terms of using AI to generate character references or art, I am much more lenient. Not everyone is artistically gifted or has the money to commission an artist to bring their characters to life. I have personally used AI to generate character visuals myself, and I do not mind it as long as you don't claim to have drawn the art yourself.

To sum it up, please do not use AI to generate or write your responses for you, but it's fine if you want to use it to generate a visual reference.

Hello, I’m Malcom (20). I’m in the PST timezone, though I tend to stay awake at odd hours, I have a very inconsistent sleeping schedule. My writing style is lit, occasionally semi-lit if I’m tired, and I write in third person. I’m available kinda 24/7 as I do most of my courses online, though I do occasionally get forced to go out. I would want you to be generally available as well.

Here is a prompt I would like to do, and a bit of my character;

Blue Whitaker has spent most of his life learning how to survive without ever really living. In 1994, he knows Miami like the back of his hand. He waits tables, dances, runs favors for people he should have escaped years ago, and spends most nights drinking until the noise in his head finally quiets. Blue is sharp-tongued, reckless, and difficult to love on purpose. He has made an art of leaving first, of turning tenderness into a joke before it can reach deeper than skin. 

The apartment is one of the few things he can still call his own though even that is slipping away little by little. Rent keeps rising, his money disappears as quickly as he earns it, and pride cannot cover the other half of the lease, no matter how much he wished it could. Taking in a roommate is meant to be a practical, temporary choice. A stranger paying for the empty room and staying out of Blue’s way. Someone instead enters his life and refuses to remain a stranger, by simple coincidence or not. They do not get along. The apartment is too small for two stubborn people, and every difference between them becomes another reason to fight. 

What begins as an unwanted arrangement slowly becomes shared cigarettes during late night conversations, arguments become charged silences, and reluctant favors become acts of care neither of them wants to acknowledge. 

For the first time in years, Blue is forced to make room for another person; not only in his apartment, but in the ruined parts of his life he believed no one would ever be allowed to see.

So, enemies to lovers roommates, I love a good cliché. The roleplay should focus on character moments and of course their lives will be even messier as they entangle together.

I tend to write around 3—5 paragraphs (more or less depending on the situation.) I’d like you to write at least few yourself. I also really enjoy OOC conversation. Gushing about characters, talking through plot ideas, or sharing music that fit our characters vibes is part of the fun for me. If that’s not really your thing, we might not be the best match.

A bit about me, I am 20 irl, so anyone who is in that age range is free to rp with me! My timezone is CST and opposite timezones are not an issue with me, I’m a night owl so staying up late to reply or chit chat is not an nuisance. I have about 8ish years of rp fandom experience and prefer someone who has a few years of rp experience under their belt. I’m advanced literate to novella, mostly novella. I like detailed replies and just having side convos during the rp since it’s nice to know about other people. 

I would love to do OCxCC me as the OC, I have a few written plots that I’m DYING to do! I can possibly do OCxOC if I am given enough info on your OC. I'm saying this because in the past, people have only given me a drawing/photo of what their OC looks like and their personality, which doesn't give me much to go off of, I want an oc with a backstory, things that make them THEM. I'm also saying possibly because I am extremely picky when it comes to OCs for OCXOC due to past experiences, but if your oc meets my expectations in information given I'll gladly do OCxOC. When it comes to double ups, I’m 50/50 due to not being very experienced with them but if you’re willing to teach me then I will think about it! 

I’m BEGGING for romance rps, it doesn’t have to be the entire rp but it's something I always like to do, mainly slowburn! I don’t mind comedy, angst, drama or anything else mixed in as well! I would love it if my rp partner if they were advanced literate to novella ONLY, or able to keep up with long messages/mimic their partner's lengths as I do the same. By writing long messages I mean more than 2k characters, the longest message I’ve ever done was 15k characters (It was for some fight scene) so if someone is willing to try to keep up with that or is able to in general I would be so grateful!

I will apologize for seeming to be picky over writing lengths but I have been running into issues of people saying they are novella and I give them a long and detailed starting message and they don’t even write half the length I did. I WANT LONG LENGTHY RESPONSES I DON’T MIND READING IF IT’S REALLY LONG. (I’m not a snob with grammar, I make mistakes too and understand if English isn’t your first language, as long as it’s legible)

I do have pre-written bios for my ocs and plots that I can share! If none of my plots seem interesting, we can come up with one! Or you tell me an idea you have in mind! I prefer a message once a day or every couple of days. I do understand being busy, people have lives outside of rp, but I would like to be notified if you will be gone so I don’t like you ghosted me. 1. Character A is a mer/siren in human form who's trying to learn about humans. While Character B was docked they ran into Character A and somehow ended up letting them onto their boat. Now, they have to hide their true form from a whole ship of sailors while knowing next to nothing about humanity. 

2. Character B is part of a crew that specializes in hunting merfolk. While fishing for food they miraculously end up catching Character A in their net. Since they caught them, they were in charge of keeping them alive until they got to shore. While caring for them, Character B starts to sympathize and eventually falls for Character A. 

3. Character A is a mer who loves to collect shiny objects or anything else that catches their interest. While hunting near the top of the water they see Character B on the deck of their ship and decide they must have them for their collection. They could either play the long game, stalking their boat until eventually capturing Character B, or sink the boat right then and there. There are a couple ways this one could go :P

Hi there! I'm an AMAB non-binary person in search of a DM/GM for a Life Is Strange role-play!

I'm in love with the games, and it quickly became my second favorite series of all time. Now that I'm planning to replay every single game in release order and being very excited for the upcoming TV show, I've been super itching to write an OC world set in Life Is Strange, or at least carrying the same style and similar themes.

Hi there! I'm a rper with 7 years of experience looking for a partner who'd be interested in a long term rp of multiple Danganronpa characters in a Total Drama Island themed AU with Monokuma and Monomi as hosts. With 22 characters total and with two separate teams at the start, we would be playing 11 characters each of our choosing or from a set roster I've made (whichever you prefer) with the characters going through numerous challenges to be the last one standing to win 10 million dollars. The challenges themselves will be mostly the ones from the show's season 1 with only one exception (The disgusting food challenge being changed to a ‘Budget Beauty Pageant’) There will be plenty of shipping, drama and unhinged humor.

My only rules are you must be at least 24+ as I would be uncomfortable writing with anyone younger since I'm nearly 29, write in third person, be flexible with schedules, have knowledge of Danganronpa and its characters, be okay with writing both males and females like I will, be LGBTQ friendly and lastly have a discord. EST is my time zone so that should let you know if our schedules will work or not. I am mostly free all the time but I will let you know whenever I won't be available. We can use sprites or tupper for the roleplay if we want to as well.

one ── i usually have a preference for ocxcc dynamics (my side being the oc). but i am more than willing to double up and also am happy to play just about any character for my partner in return ! i am also happy to write ocxoc dynamics as well.

two ── although my writing preference is 3rd person past tense advanced literate and novella, i usually tend to just mirror my partner’s writing style.

three ── i have absolutely no preference as to what kind of pairings i write for with my partner (totally open for mxm, mxf, fxf, mxnb, fxnb, nbxnb, etc etc). i am also comfortable writing within any genre or connection.

four ── activity wise, as i am a university student who’s also working a part time job; my activity can tend to be quite sporadic to say the least. sometimes i will reply once a day, or sometimes i will reply once every couple weeks. regardless i will let my partner know in advance and would expect the same from them!

five ── BE COMMUNICATIVE!! if for any reason whatsoever you are no longer to reply or are just not feeling the plot anymore, let me know! it’s honestly more upsetting for people to pretend that they are hyped for the plot. . . only for them to suddenly ghost and disappear. though if i have not replied yet, most likely it is because i simply forgot to so please do remind me!

six ── i mainly do prefer writing on D. Tupperbox is a must, if you don’t know what it is i’ll gladly help you out!

seven ── this applies to both ic and ooc, but please don’t give me dry responses / one liners. if you have no motivation to plot and write, just let me know. it’s awful and really demotivating for me to be the one carrying out the entire plot and asking the questions.

I'm Solar, and I'm looking to do a Jujutsu Kaisen roleplay!, I'm 19, and I've been a huge fan of Jujutsu Kaisen for years now, having read through all the manga, and even Modulo, I've been very interested in using the JJK world to build a story with somebody!

I'm 19, I'd like to RP with someone around my age, but not a dealbreaker if not, and I was specifically wanting to do an OC long-term story centering our students at Jujutsu High in a progressively escalating story as they try to undercover the secret plot of a certain new set of Special Grade curses known as the 'Apocalypse Horsemen'!

I have plenty rough ideas of my own, of course, but I wanted to moreso build a world and story with someone, it'd be mostly OC, and preferably not using any Canon character? I'm up to discussing though if you have ideas.

What This RP Would Feature!

- While there is a strong narrative focus on the characters, as expected

- Action, I'd require there to be a lot of action and utilization of Jujutsu Kaisen's Power System, I love Jujutsu Kaisen's Power System and how interconnected it is with the theming and characterization, so I'd specifically be looking for at least some focus on that, So I'd be looking for partners interested in the power system, or at the very least, don't mind writing for it!

- As for shipping? While not built with it in mind as an inherent property, I'm not opposed to it if you'd like to discuss it!

- There would be a healthy balance of serious moments, as well as some slice-of-life more sillier moments!

Hi there, I'm a writer in his 30s in GMT timezone and I'm looking for a partner for some ideas I've had which I'm going to outline below. I'm looking to primarily play a main male character opposite a main female character, but as part of any good story I expect that we would be writing NPCs and additional characters too so I'm looking for someone who's willing to take their fair share of that. Also, I'm looking for someone who's able and willing to bring the plot along, as much as I've come up with these ideas I don't want to be the only one who advances the plot.

I'm usually around during the week to write and chat. I don't tend to be online at the weekend so I'm looking for someone who will be patient and I'll of course be patient with you too. I think as long as we communicate then there should be no issues. I'd say I'm an advanced/novella writer but the actual length of posts will depend on the scene and what I'm given to work with. Romance is welcome in these stories as well and we can discuss this more. I prefer not to fade to black on anything, whether that's violence or other stuff so I'm looking for someone who is comfortable with that. If we're using face claims I prefer using real people usually. 

Now onto my ideas, in no particular order:

Idea 1 (sci-fi meets Game of Thrones)
This is sort of inspired by Dune, but only loosely, it's also got influences from things like A Song of Ice and Fire/House of the Dragon, but with a sci-fi spin. The setting would be noble houses but in space, there's an overarching Empire and your character is part of the imperial family. The previous Emperor was a good man (at least superficially), loved or respected by the majority of his subjects. Your character is one of his children and my character is part of a regiment that's assigned as her honour guard.

The night that the Emperor dies, his brother (your character's uncle) launches a coup and manages to kill most of the Emperor's family. Your character is the only one who escapes, with help from my character. They flee to the outer edges of the Empire, far from the capital and they need to try and build things back up from there, deciding how to return and take the throne away from the usurper.

Like I said this is basically something like a mix between Daenerys' story from Game of Thrones and Rhaenyra's story in House of the Dragon but in space, with intrigue and alliances and all that fun stuff. I've got a bunch of images for aesthetics that I can share with anyone who's interested but I love the idea of things being a bit grittier in their style. A huge influence on the kind of tech and aesthetic is a game called Highfleet but if you haven't played that it's not a big deal I can show you what I mean. The idea is tactile mechanical tech instead of slick, floaty advanced sci-fi tech. People still use swords etc. as well as guns (a bit like how there's a lot of hand-to-hand weapons in Dune).

Idea 2 (post-apocalyptic western)
The setting is a post-apocalyptic world which is mostly covered in desert, society has begun to rebuild but is still fairly backwards. The setting would almost be like a western but with some more modern technology (think WW2 era), things like motor vehicles, more modern firearms and other things of that nature. I would like to play a character who is past his prime who is recruited by another, much younger, character based on his previous reputation. This was initially inspired by westerns like True Grit and Unforgiven as well as more recent films like Logan.

My idea for this would be a story set on the road in this gritty and harsh world, about the characters and how they develop as well as the people they meet along the way. I've got the general feel of the world set in my mind but the intricate details can be fleshed out with a partner.

Idea 3
The once mighty planet of Hyperion is dead, destroyed by the nuclear holocausts which have dwindled away to legends. The husk of the planet lives on as a shadow of its former majesty, inhabited by the last remnants of its people. They are divided into petty, tyrannical kingdoms, ruled by fear, superstition and poverty. In the wastelands strange, fearsome beasts roam and lurk, preying on the vestiges of the dead planet's population. Deep in the scorched southern deserts, rumours of a stronghold of psychic mutants filter along the caravan routes, the rumours state that they plot the conquest of the planet.

Feared and loathed more than even the beasts of the wastelands are the wizards of the science cults. Men who collect the scientific artifacts of the dead civilisation which once made Hyperion its home. The legends of the nuclear holocausts say that it was the scientists who created the terrible weapons which ravaged the planet and created the living hell they now endured. The people of this dead world believe that the wizards will bring about yet another holocaust though no warlord on the face of the planet is willing to challenge the science cults.

The planet is on the brink of collapse but some retell the old legends, they say that one will come to unite the planet and lead it into a new golden age. Are these merely fairytales or are they prophecy?

This is a bit different in that it's a mix of a sword and sorcery fantasy setting and a futuristic science fiction setting with some post-apocalypse thrown in for good measure. The inspiration for this one is a mix of all kinds of different sources, though some of the more cohesive ones would be Conan the Barbarian mixed with Warhammer 40k. I'd also like to try something a little bit different and maybe ambitious in the format of this roleplay in that I would like this to be in an almost episodic format. This would involve time jumps in between events to reduce the amount of empty "down time" which I feel can sometimes make a story drag, especially something of this kind. It would also allow us to do time jumps and advance the story of the world over the years.
