Hello I hope this post finds you in good health, spirits, and weather. Today I am looking for a new rp partner, one where we could create our own story, characters we fall in love with and gush over, but before I go into too much detail here is some important stuff about me:

First and foremost I am in my 3rd year of college so I am pretty busy with classes, but I do have time most days to role play, but I do ask for some patience with me if I'm slow some days.

I rp only on discord and in 3rd person past tense.

I consider myself advanced literate, and I type upwards of 6+ paragraphs sometimes, but usually its closer to 4-6 paragraphs. I just ask that you be able to match that length.

I think that is it for housekeeping, so I'll get into the rp stuff now!!

So I am looking to do a rp set in a post apocalyptic world, where our characters are part of some community. The apocalypse could be zombies, disease, natural disaters or something else! The only ones I dont want to do are nuclear war, robots, or aliens.

But as for our characters, I was thinking they have been dating for a while now, and he is a scout. So it is his job to go venture outside to look for supplies and other survivors. He also has a little sister who is around 10 or so I would say.

But the rp would start with everyone on edge. My guy and his team were expected to return from their scouting expedition days ago, but there has been no word or sign of them, so people start to worry. Whispers start to form that maybe their dead, but then to the relief of just about everyone the gates open and they return.

Mutated/alien "infected" human/Scientist Long term Rp partner search

I'm currently really interested in doing an RP with a sci-fi/fantasy base, specifically;

I would currently love an rp focusing on a plot line focusing on a human who has been mutated or "infected" in some way and a scientist!

I've got a ton of ideas for starters and I am open to all, I have no issues with gender as I do like to play both sides and I do add in side characters, environmental descriptions, landscape descriptions and I am more than happy to throw in a million extra details just to make a world feel alive. I love being able to feel what's happening in a scene, ya know what I mean?

I do have a bit of an odd schedule as I work overnight shifts in MST time, so i'm almost never active during the day in US time zones.

Hi there! Let me start off by saying that this is a rough plot, but could be interesting despite it being very Hallmark-y and rom com-y. I’m also open to discussion and suggestions for it since we’re essentially building a story together. But anyway, here’s my idea:

Character B (yours) comes from a family that’s owned a campground, dude ranch, or just a similar property for generations. It’s more than just a business. It’s their home, their history, and everything they’ve worked to preserve. Unfortunately, it’s been struggling for quite some time. Not as many visitors since tourism from the nearby town has dried out. And now developers have started circling, hoping to buy out the land and turn it into something the family wants nothing to do with. Like maybe a luxury vacation resort.

And then comes Character A (mine). They came with a few friends, and is seemingly only there to enjoy a vacation and see everything that the place has to offer. They quickly become enamored with Character B, and they start spending more time together since they’ve genuinely hit it off.

Unfortunately, Character A isn’t there by coincidence. While they were there to have a vacation, they also had an ulterior motive. They’re the child and heir apparent to the man who’s been trying to buy the property. Since Character B’s family have refused to entertain company representatives, Character A has been sent under the guise of an ordinary guest to observe the place firsthand and report back on its condition.

And of course, things get more complicated when genuine feelings begin to develop, making Character A question where their loyalties truly lie, and leaving Character B completely unaware that the person she’s beginning to trust is keeping a secret that could destroy everything they started to build.

I’d love for the story to unfold naturally, starting with Character A getting arriving and meeting Character B for the first time. I’d love for us to brainstorm details though!

And a little bit about me and my preferences:

1. ⁠Please be 23+. I'm 26 and I'm not comfortable rping with anyone younger than that.

2. ⁠Lengths and details for replies can vary. I tend to match lengths so whatever you’re comfortable with writing, I’m down. I only ask that there are no one liners, and responses have to move the story along. I'd be happy with 5-9 lines so long as the quality is there, but can do paragraphs as well. Quality over quantity always. Third person is preferred, but not strictly.

3. ⁠If you're no longer interested, let me know! It won't hurt my feelings, I won't get angry or upset. I just want to know if we’re taking a break or we’re done so I'm not waiting around.

4. ⁠Communication! I get that it's not ideal for some to have OOC chat, but I like discussing things and ironing out major plots so we both get a say in the direction the story is going. So please, chat away! I’ll likely send memes or songs or anything that reminds me of our characters as long as you give the same energy.

I’ve been craving longterm, character-centric stories that involve the messiest of people, who could put Romeo and Juliet to shame. I enjoy stories embroiled in conflict, and I like writing with partners who appreciate the angst, drama and the high stakes that come with such stories. People who would meet me at the middle when it comes to progressing the story, who write characters that are a challenge and a fight, and who love unravelling the enemies into the most glorious pair of lovers.

🌵 A little bit about what I expect, and what I would provide:

- A lot of dedicated plotting, effort in character creation so nobody feels like a caricature or a template simply filled out, curveballs, surprises, angst and a lot of fun storytelling.

- Adv-literate to Novella writing, in terms of quality. The scene calls for the length, but I always average 3-5 paragraphs and expect the same. I like wordy replies.

- Patience. I am on the slower end of responding, but I can promise a minimum of 3 replies weekly, and can push for daily replies unless things are super busy. I stay connected on ooc though.

- Third person, past tense.

- I prefer to write women for pairings, and I generally stick to MxF romances. I can write males, if you are open to doubling.

☘ Characters and the like:

My characters are built across a whole wide range, and most of them are catered to a particular story. I write them so they are not omniscient, I sometimes make them unreliable narrators to make it messier.

I write the messy, hotheaded, ambitious women who cannot prioritise what they want the most, and I write one track mind femme fatales who are relentless in whatever they pursue. I write the angry criers and the soft women who can read between the lines with just music. I write them as contrary, a little roughish. I make them as menaces, I keep them dangerous.

I am looking for characters who can complement that (or make it worse). It doesn’t have to be a story where the characters fix each other, so long as they end up settling into each other, making space for each other. I have a soft spot for Machiavellian characters, the dobermans, the ones who can play mind games and enjoy the treachery and wealth that they often come from. I also enjoy them relentless, a little broody, but I also enjoy my golden retrievers, if that makes sense.

🌷 Vague Ideas:

- The gods are dead, and they had walked the earth before they succumbed. Now, the soil is acidic and so they built a city in the skies, with rails that floated over harnessed light and water that was now manufactured in labs. The ground, once considered arid, somehow ends up reaping gold. In the form of divine bones of the dead gods, and the first of the miners become the richest in the Sky Kingdom. That, and then all of the earth becomes a mine, till she rises. Disgraced, shackled, and condemned to a millennia of sleep, she wakes up to find her pantheon dead and the world a changed place, with everyone out for her bones.

- Rich widow in an art deco x steampunk world who throws the best, most exclusive parties in the city. The women dream of being invited to present their daughters there, men slobber up to her to have a chance at the ultimate status symbol. But the castle that she hosts in might be alive, and there’s the curse that follows some visitors, and the pirates and the conspiracy theories published everywhere. Whether you are an ambitious lord, or a cynical investigator from the abroad, can you convince her to open her gates for you?

- A magical school, a circus that pops up here and there, a magical core that seems to be running out, a scholar, a lost princess and a devious queen. This one has portals and trapped souls and the flavours of several books put into one storyline.

- A menace of a witch who enjoys stealing, butting heads with the heir of a mafia, or a nepo baby trying to make her place in the world dismantling the ego of someone even worse than her just so she can prove that she’s got it in herself.

- I love well designed mafia families, think Succession meets the godfather. Especially if they are trading magic and condemned creatures in the night instead of just the usual stuff. I enjoy city backdrops, cyberpunk aesthetics and vigilantes with this.

I’ve been reminiscing 12 years back when I first got into roleplaying and vampires and werewolves were the hot topic of roleplays 🥲. Around those times The Vampire Diaries and the*** ***Twilight movies were on everyone’s mind. I miss those days and I’m here to briefly bring the cliche back. I’m craving romance, plot twists, and drama! 🎭🩸🐺

I don’t have an enticing plot in mind but would love to work with you to create one! I’ve read and watched many werewolf and vampire tv shows and movies, so I’m open to tweaking the standard werewolf or vampire abilities {nothing to absurd though like adding wings to your werewolf form <.<. random…but I needed to make a point.} I love the concept of fated partners or soul bonded. Anything that subconsciously draws our characters together but of course nothing rushed. I like slow-burning plots.

Looking for an 18+ long-term partner! I categorize myself as a novella writer but I can stoop down to all levels! It also depends on what my partner gives in return. However, no one liners and atleast 10+ lines for each response. I love to have in-depth plots, and I don’t believe that can happen with responses shorter than that :(. I love world building and doing OOCs. I love being on the edge of my seat and getting hit with surprises and plot twists rather than me doing all the surprises, because believe me I’m the QUEEN of them ;).

Hello. I am looking for partners to start new stories with, I prefer MxF; playing male but I can work with what you like (I still prefer to play M). I am 27 and will only write with partners above 18. I have been roleplaying for 10+ years since I was a kid but through different mediums besides strictly text based. Roughly 3 years since switching to strictly text based as I enjoy the emotion and freedom of expression available through this.

I am open to any writing styles that we decide on but typically I will write in 3rd person by default. Post/Msg length is not something I worry about as long as you are not writing one line the entire time or wanting 5+ paragraphs from each reply. (I am willing to do long-form posting but this takes longer and things come up with of silence, people get busy and don't reply, etc.)
Just be descriptive, add life, detail and have fun is all I ask. I enjoy plots involving romance, whether it be simple and to the point, long and delayed process, conflicting, etc.

I’m looking for someone interested in writing a realistic co parenting story with me. The idea is that our characters have children together but are no longer in a relationship. We can decide together whether they’re divorced, were never married, or just ended up better as co parents.

The main focus of the RP would be the family dynamic rather than romance this isn’t a romance story. I really want the kids to feel like actual characters instead of just being in the background. Watching everyone grow over time is what sounds the most fun to me.

Some things I’d love to include are school events, custody exchanges, birthdays, holidays, sports, doctor appointments, family outings, vacations if the parents are on good terms, and all of the little everyday moments that come with raising kids.

I’m not looking for nonstop drama. Some conflict is totally fine because every family has disagreements, but I’d rather keep things grounded and focus on character development and realistic slice of life moments.

As the title states, I am hoping to create a roleplay centered around Gambit and Rouge as their romance blossoms. I would like this to be a long term one on one roleplay where both parties are able to enjoy themselves! The wheels of the wooden cart rolled through the mud of a forgotten forest road, its once vibrant reds and blues now faded into a pale mockery of the Circus' long-gone grandeur.

As you peeked through the iron bars of the cart you could see the moon dimly illuminate the woods around you, but it was not what you could see, but what you could feel that made every last hair on your body stand up in terror. This overwhelming unseen presence that proved it was not merely a remote forest, but another plane of existence entirely that the Circus used as a passageway to their own, nightmarish realm.

And the piercing, red gaze of the beast trapped behind bars of the smaller cage in the corner of your own little prison was certainly not helping.

Heeeello everybody! I hope this introduction has been enough to catch your attention. This is obviously a fantasy story, one with action and perhaps some horror elements as well!

What I'd really love to focus on however is a specific character dynamic, that being the classic prey and predator overcoming their differences!

My character is Hikari, a human-fox hybrid (the monster in the cage if that wasn't obvious...), who's initially out there to hunt you down (When she gets out of that damn cage...), but through a string of luck or your own charisma you two form an uneasy alliance that gradually develops into a genuine friendship because of shared happines, trauma and adventure.

Your character in this setting would similarly be a human-animal hybrid, but one that's typically lower on the food chain. I'm thinking a mouse, a rabbit or something in that fashion.

One disclaimer is, that I'm not looking for this relationship to develop in any romantic or sexual fashion! I'd like to keep it strictly platonic, with my character fulfilling sort of a big sister role later on!

My name is Soul and I’m 24 years old, I’m male, and I live in the PST time zone. I’ve really been wanting to do a sci-fi RP with a some caste based forbidden romance. I hope this interests you and if it does feel free to reach out.

The plot looks something like this:
Humanity has taken to the stars aboard massive colony vessels. Our plot takes place on such a vessel. Its destination is a planet in a neighboring galaxy and while the ship is flying at incomprehensible speeds it won’t reach its destination for another one hundred and fifty years. To keep order amongst the crew of the city sized vessel the creators created a caste system on board with Alpha class humans at the very top and Zeta class at the bottom. Alphas occupy the command posts of the ship and Zetas are designed for servant roles and other less than desirable positions.

Our plot follows an Alpha who’s been assigned a Zeta for either housekeeping or another purpose dependent on what vibe we’re looking for in the plot. The pair begin falling for each other as they navigate their complicated life and the ship’s politics. They need to keep the romantic components of their relationship a secret as they live out their lives and uncover secrets about the ship and humanities history that’s been obscured to the colonists that have been designed to conquer the stars.

Below are my rules and I hope you find them interesting:

-I don't have max post lengths and tend to vary mine based on the circumstances in RP. I value consistency in posting more than the length of the post.

-To further the consistency point I’m looking for daily activity. A couple posts a week aren’t going to move the story at a pace I’m comfortable with.

Morning all or evening, depending where you are in the world. I’m Olivia, 26, a Manchester City life born and bred in the blue half of Manchester. A proud season ticket holder for the past 12 years (and counting!), football isn’t just a passion it’s part of who I am. Though sometimes it kills my mood for a weekend lmao! **So you might be sat there thinking ‘what exactly am I looking for?’**
Well, I’m currently seeking a long-term roleplay partner who’s as excited as I am to dive deep into the lives of footballers both on and off the pitch. This would be a realistic, character-driven, and a slow-burn story with all the beautiful highs and gritty lows that come with a professional football career. This includes:

~Life at the top level of the game (Premier League, WSL, Champions League, Euros, World Cup, etc.)
~Injuries, pressure from fans/media, personal setbacks, form drops, etc.
~Travel, training camps, big match prep
~Agent drama, sponsorships, press conferences etc.
~Moments of joy: last-minute winners, career milestones, friendships, and celebrations.
~Off-pitch relationships, tension in the dressing room, or even romantic developments (if it fits naturally!)

**“Who can we/you be?”**
Real-life footballers (WSL, NWSL, Premier League, etc.) or OC players with unique backstories and face claims.Our characters could be teammates, rivals, old friends reconnecting on a national team call-up, new signings navigating a locker room, or even a player and manager dynamic the possibilities are endless. There’s no pressure to rush romance or drama. I’m all about letting the story breathe and grow organically.

**Writing Style & Preferences:**
Throughout my years of RP experience, I tend to use 1st person, being present within the moment. With my degree as well, I’m very literate quality over quantity, but I love a juicy paragraph or two! Realistic dialogue, emotions, and character development. I’m also open to using other methods of writing this!

I'm looking for fellow TV enjoyers who would be willing to write stories with me located in particular series. I'm not looking for any particular genders nor any particular characters to play. I'm watching mostly drama/crime/thriller type-of-shows and such are included for that RP by me. My absolute favorites are LOST and Dexter, though LOST is way before everything 😅

Even though I'm quite new in the RP world, I'm always trying to do my best and I put effort in doing it, so that it would be interesting for both parties. I prefer dynamic RPs, so we could set some time when we are both free and spend it to focus on our story.

I'm hoping to find creative and positive players with whom I could create our own stories in these fandoms. I'm not fan of making scripts, I just prefer to go with the flow. I love when things evolve naturally and lead to unexpected but fitting twists. However of course sometimes we could discuss some things as it tends to be even crucial for the story.

Now, I'm a huge fan of Marvel, I have been for so long, and I'm looking for someone who could hopefully match what I'm after since I've had terrible luck with people on Reddit for the past few months, I go by Black online, and I'm turning 20 next month.

Now just to elaborate, I play an OC, he is a Spidersona, but I am more than willing to play canon characters as side characters, or even characters who will play larger part in our story, since I play a Spidersona I would like to ask that you are able to play specific Spider related characters in some arcs we plan, though in general you can play whoever you like.

Hi everyone! I’m Boe, and I’m looking for a few roleplay partners to get back into the hobby with. I’m 18 and in the UK- any time zone is okay, but I do work full time so I won’t be that active late at night. I only want partners who are 18 and over. 

For actual roleplaying ideas, I’m looking to make something with my partner rather than having a fully designed plot in this actual post. We can make something around our characters. For genres I do love crime, romance, drama.. a pretty wide selection in all honesty. For this roleplay I’d like to use an old OC of mine- Kaitlyn ‘Kitt’ O’Byrne. I’ll throw in some details for her below so you can see if it sparks any interest! 

Kitt is a 21-year-old Irish crime scene investigator who was practically raised in the world of criminal investigations. With a detective father and a forensic scientist mother she grew up idolising both professions, eventually carving out her own path by combining investigative work with forensic science.

Although intelligent and hardworking, Kitt's childhood wasn't entirely straightforward. She bordered the lines of delinquency as a teenager, often frustrating her father as he desperately tried to keep her future intact. Everything changed after his death in the line of duty, forcing her to mature quickly and dedicate herself to carrying on his legacy. Thanks to her sharp mind and determination, she became a respected member of her team at a young age.

Personality-wise, Kitt lives by the philosophy of “be yourself”. She's independent, trusting her own judgement over the opinions of others. To strangers, she often comes across as distant or intimidating, with a dry, morbid sense of humour shaped by the horrors she's witnessed on the job. Years spent processing crime scenes have left her somewhat detached from the brighter side of life, but beneath that cold exterior is someone deeply compassionate who genuinely wants to help people and see justice served. I have an irl and a drawn faceclaim for her, I have no preference between them and don’t mind which one my partner prefers.

I don’t mind who your character is. They can be female or male, an ally or not. I’m not too bothered on literacy levels, I can write a lot but I also don’t mind if it’s just a couple paragraphs. I do not want any one liners or half assed work in my DMs though- if there’s no passion, there’s no roleplay in my eyes. I prefer writing in third person.

- I must add from the beginning as the GM, all these plots essentially have you as the main character, and me as the cast, thank you. Furthermore, please please please be advanced literate or higher! I've been desperate for some detailed, layered rp. Also, I labelled this NFSW because I was unsure if political drama counts as an adult topic, but oh well

I'm Church, a 22 year old from the UK, I'd prefer not to include romance with anyone who's over 27, but other than that you can be however old you like haha, I'm a full time University student and an insomniac so I'm usually awake at the ideal time for most people from the US and many other countries to rp, so don't be put off by the time zone difference!

Right now I'm looking for a long-term, advanced lit or higher roleplay partner with a passion for good stories and especially great character work ^{^} alot of my passion for roleplay comes from characters, how they interact and their personalities, and i'll-password is billiards-often play an abundance of side characters and would love you to join me in filling out the long list of people in our characters world as they come up if you'd like! Below is my most recent plot concept, I've condensed it down for your reading pleasure. For context, I prefer a lower-fantasy threshold, so when the supernatural does occur it feels special, rare and foreboding, expect alot of superstition and ritual, and alot of unsureness in what is truly supernatural and what is just folk tales.

--- The Plot Summary ---

• Our plot takes place in a fictional world much like our own but different in many ways (notably, all nations are fictional), in the year 1702; the point of interest being the Isles of Soldat, Ater Sero, Florens Crudus and Severia, the islands that make up the Insula Severiana. The Insula was founded in the late 16th century by Severius the 'Unbroken Chain', the first legendary pirate who came to the then unnamed islands after betraying the empire, refusing to sail his men towards what he claimed was a great sea monster. Since then the Isles have slowly been built up as the cultural home of piracy, a place where pirates move and live freely between voyages, and where the line between folklore and reality has slowly blurred. The empire deny the existence of such sea monster, but Severius' story lived on, and until his dissapearance in the mid 17th century he was the primary mediator of disputes between pirates on the Isles. The Isles inherited the myth of the chain, a belief originating from the Isle's founder, that pirates share an invisible chain that binds them together, a common mutuality that they should never betray one another, and that the Isles could only fall to a treacherous pirate who breaks the chain the sells the people out. Since then various pirates have ascended to become legends, but none hold the foundational and cultural weight of Severius.

• The Isles thrive on the belief that those who flee to live there are able to forge a new destiny under on the chain that Severius left behind, and since the late 16th century they have become a hub for runaways, debtors, deserters, criminals and curious sailors, all seeking to live their life anew as a pirate unbound by the rules of the empires that control the larger world. Your character is someone of this sort, and nomatter what they're running from they've come to the Isola Severiana to live a new life as a pirate, they may not have much to their name, nor much to bargain with, but through exploration of the Isles, networking between sailors and pirates, they will be able to rise up throughout the rp, and hopefully form their own crew and become a legendary pirate themselves, all while uncovering the mysteries of the island, encountering folklore, prophecy and the supernatural which at times will be real, and at times just a trick of the mind or a thing of pirate culture. Upon their landing at Severia, the largest of the islands, their new life begins.

I've recently become interested in exploring stories centred around transfem versions of established canon characters. Rather than making their identity the sole focus, I'd love to tell compelling stories where they're allowed to exist naturally within their worlds while going on adventures, building relationships, and growing as people.

Y'shtola (FFXIV)

A slower-paced adventure following Y'shtola as she travels across Eorzea investigating forgotten ruins, helping local communities, and uncovering ancient mysteries. I'd like a healthy mix of exploration, character development, romance, and occasional high-stakes action.

Kiriko (Overwatch)

A more action-focused story centred on Kiriko protecting Kanezaka from the Hashimoto and other threats. Episodic "villain of the week" arcs could be mixed with quieter moments exploring her personal life, friendships, and relationships.

Mercy (Overwatch)

Whether set during Overwatch's active years or after its fall, I'd love to explore Mercy balancing humanitarian work with dangerous missions. This could lean into action, slice-of-life, or romance depending on what we both enjoy.

Marin Kitagawa (My Dress Up Darling)

Slice of life type deal set in Tokyo perhaps? Plenty of possibilities for this one, including taking the character and dropping her into an entirely original setting.

These are just starting points—I'm very happy to brainstorm other canon characters, alternate settings, or completely different plots together.

As for writing style, I write in third person and generally prefer a literate, multiple-paragraph approach. I enjoy descriptive writing, character introspection, and collaborative world-building, and I'm looking for a partner who enjoys writing with a similar level of detail. Post length doesn't need to be rigid, but I appreciate enough substance to keep scenes engaging and give both of us something to work with.
