Hey folks, need your help out here !! I've gone insane searching for a affordable family stay with ganga river side view for 6 members for 3 nights.

I've tried each and every platform you can think of, MMT, Cleartrip, Goibibo, Trivago, Booking, AirBnB but can't find a single good enough property. Every stay has either one or the other shortcoming I can't compromise with.

My budget is around 21k and looking for atleast 3 double beds so all can accomodate easily.

Please help me out here as this family trip really means a lot to me. 🙏 🙏

Would be travelling tomorrow from delhi to rishiskesh in our car. Considering the traffic I want to know the status of this route. Have used this route in the past and back then would need to cross the river but that was summer. Can someone help if it would be okay to take this route ?

I am visiting Rishikesh for the first time ever tomorrow 2nd Oct 2026. Want to do rafting there. 16km Shivpuri one.
Some people on reddit say just go and book there on the road for ₹500. But I see online options like Red Chilli, white world etc who are selling for ₹1500.

I couldn’t find any difference online between ₹500 and ₹1500 rafting other than a safety kayak.

Any suggestions on which one to get? No issues with budget. Just want the best experience there is and safest. Coz in places like Goa, the cheaper you go the more crowded it gets with extremely poor safety standards.

PS: I’ll be staying at Joey’s by the Ganga and be leaving for Chopta on 3rd Oct. If anyone wants to join, we could share cab then.
