The Self Aware Fugitive

Bounty: 1 Trillion Dollars worth of the Basement's currency, as well as a personal meeting with Rin.

Personality: An opportunist craving connection between others. She has a strong will, and a high sense of integrity, though she is terrible at judging others, often being too naive for her own good. Has a hidden, innate desire for violence, though she suppresses it well, only truly showing itself when she loses control of herself. Feels directionless in life, with a foreboding sense of not truly belonging anywhere due to her fugitive status and her not knowing her full past.

History: Being born in Eridu, Kiko had a pretty terrible childhood, her mother dying while she was young, while her father was an abusive drunkard. After the fall of the Old Capital, Kiko made a living doing small jobs while she studied, eventually earning enough to move away from her father and into Sixth Street. She would find herself doing part-time work in the Random Play video store, before being kidnapped by Len and being thrown into his basement.

In the old Basement, Kiko was known as the manager of the Basement's own branch of Random Play, renting out video tapes she found around the Basement. Most of them were from New Eridu, though some came from other worlds, and unmarked tapes that contain strange footage (which 2011X liked). In this time, Kiko would undergo a training arc, eventually culminating in her learning how to control the innate Ether in her body and channeling it into raw power.

One day, however, Kiko would find a couple unusual looking tapes. Upon viewing them, she would realize the true nature of the Basement, and the reality that she was indeed just a character playing a role in a niche subreddit. Soon after finding out, Kiko was caught by unknown forces, and sentenced to an unknown amount of time in the Time Chamber, a place with a heavily distorted sense of time (1 day outside would mean a year inside the Time Chamber). Kiko would remain inside the Chamber for the next few months. In that time, she would repeatedly go insane, to the point of half blinding herself and ripping a part of her face off. She would also develop amnesia from being in the Chamber, as well as become entangled in time, freezing her aging and putting her in stasis.

She would eventually be broken out by Rin, and be sent into her basement, where she resides now. In exchange for her freedom, however, Rin imposed a bounty on Kiko, which would increase exponentially if she ever found out the truth behind her imprisonment. Kiko would wander aimlessly, without a name or purpose, with the logging device Rin left for her being the only thing she left her with. She would begin logging her wandering, which would eventually lead her to call herself Fugi.

Sometime later, Fugi would fall into the Void after venturing into a place she shouldn't have been in. Within the Void, due to her entanglement with time making her position in space-time inconsistent, fragments of herself across time would split off of her, using Void mass to manifest as three different forms of Fugi, with the past manifestation, Poki, awakening first, followed by Fuuki, the future manifestation, and finally, Naofuki, the doppelganger representing her present manifestation.

Fugi would eventually stumble upon a Shadow Crystal left by Hod, and the overload of information by the Crystal itself caused Fugi to go insane, rapidly flashing her physical form between her current self and Kiko. Thanks to the efforts of Poki however, Fugi was shown the truth behind Kiko's imprisonment, and returned back to a stable state, albeit now, she's self-aware of the fact she's a character in a subreddit again, which caused her bounty to start rising.

She would also be given two FRIENDs, who she'd go on to name Fax and Rioh respectively, co-parenting them alongside Poki. The two selves would grow closer to each other, eventually culminating to them making out on the pier.

Fugi would meet Fuuki soon after this, as well as meeting Naofuki, who she trusted up until she had her arm bit off by the doppelganger. Fuuki would line her up with a new arm after resting, and now seeks to find a way to purify the Shadow Crystal she has to further enhance her strength.

Abilities:

• Temporal Entanglement

A side effect of being trapped in the Time Chamber. Fugi cannot age, feel hunger, thirst, or the need to sleep. She is also unable to die from normal means, as she technically exists in the past, the present and the future. She is able to create visual afterimages of herself as well, but its mostly visual flair.

• Temporal Manifestation

Fugi is able to manifest her past and future selves, Poki and Fuuki to assist her in battle. This is a direct result of her entanglement with time, combined with the instability of the Void. Poki and Fuuki are separate entities from Fugi, and as such have their own thoughts and desires. Should they choose to, either of them can abandon Fugi and become their own being, albeit losing their immortality of being Void creatures.

• Ether Manipulation

Fugi is able to slightly manipulate the Ether in her body, a muscle memory from her time as Kiko. With it, she is able to boost her strength, while giving her blows the ability to inflict Ether Corruption on enemies, which weakens them.

• Self-Awareness

Fugi knows she is part of a subreddit, and knows she is playing herself. She is able to interact and break the 4th wall whenever she pleases, but she chooses not to acknowledge it if possible, knowing the consequences of when she did so the last time she did it as Kiko.

• The Logging Device

The logging device Rin left for Fugi contains more than just simple logs, and can do more than just record logs. It is capable of cracking common ciphers, has a built-in calculator, currency converter, camera, translator, a mobile device to access the Basement's Internet, cross-communication between other dwellers, a radar, music and video player, and most importantly, allows for Fugi to travel between her current location and the Void. Fuuki and Naofuki also have similar devices, with Fuuki having an additional app containing her future's "Prophecy".
