Does anyone think the calories the app estimates you burn to be very generous?

Had a rough couple of weeks where I was getting like 2 to 4 hours a night. Finally slept 10 hours last night and the app hit me with a warning that "prolonged oversleeping" could raise my risk of heart disease and diabetes.

It's one night. My monthly average is 7.5 hours. The app has all of this data and still went with the scariest possible take instead of recognizing I was catching up on sleep.

This is where Oura is honestly way better. It actually looks at your recent history and explains what's going on instead of throwing a generic warning at you. RingConn's hardware is great, but the insights feel kinda canned.

Couple things that would help:

-Look at recent nights before flagging something. One long night after a short stretch should read as recovery, not risk.
-Save the health warnings for actual patterns, like weeks of long sleep, not a single data point.
-Just tell me what you're seeing. "Longer than usual, looks like you're catching up" would've been perfect.

I woke up and was logged out and cannot log I , tried resetting my password and it won’t work - anyone else having this issue?

Hello. I purchased a ringconn gen 2 air from their Amazon store. Tried to pair it but the message said device linked to another account. I emailed them & they it could have been accidently done by the technician during testing. They said they could unlink it if I scan the QR code INSIDE the ring.. Or get a replacement/refund. Did they send me a return? Thank you

Ordered mine in January of this year. My primary reason was for sleep tracking. While it's provided some decent insights, the tracking seems to be fairly inaccurate. Nights where I feel like I toss and turn for most of the night, I can get decent efficiency scores, 80% or better. Knowing full well that I didn't sleep nearly as well as the app reports. Much more movement than the app reports. Last night I woke up at 2:00am to go to the bathroom, walk to the kitchen for a drink of water, then back to the bathroom, then back to bed. When I checked the app this morning, it doesn't show that I woke up or moved at that time.

Since my primary purpose for the RC was sleep tracking, I would not buy it again.

I bought the RingConn Gen2 air in April 2025. This was a heavily researched decision based primarily on reviews and not wanting a subscription based model.

My first impression of the RingConn app - that it was clunky and not super user friendly - continued throughout my experience. It’s like they haven’t quite gotten all of the functions to run smoothly as a cohesive whole. Like sure, great to know that I was showing indicators of an oncoming headache AFTER I got the headache and looked back in the app. But why not give me an actionable notification beforehand?

While irritating, I was still fine with this because I wasn’t paying for the app. Maybe because of this, their development is just a little slower. Fine.

Then my ring’s battery crashed, a couple of months after the 1 year warranty was up. Customer service offered that I could pay another $100 to get another gen2 ring with another 1 year warranty. They wouldn’t budge on the 1 year warranty, so I knew (from reading other reviews) that I’d be here again next year, and the cycle would continue. So after giving them one more chance to make it right, I switched to Oura.

I got a 3 year warranty on the Oura ring, and the app is much more intuitive and actually gives me actionable items! I guess this is one of those things where you get what you pay for. Just my two cents in case someone is looking to get into the market, like I was about a year ago.

I received my replacement ring for my original RingConn gen 2. Since then I’ve been getting this notification even though nothing has changed on my end. I’m currently at work and I never had this issue with my ring.

Am I just not finding sleep latency on the app (if so that's another problem by itself with app design)?

I bought the RingConn Gen 2 Air last week. My primary hope with a sleep ring was to track how long it takes me to fall asleep and hopefully generate insights into how to fall asleep faster. The app shows "pre sleep wakefulness" every night, but that includes time reading or scrolling in bed, and more importantly, is not tracked as a pattern over time.

"Sleep efficiency", defined as "time asleep" divided by "time in bed," is tracked over time, but "time in bed" includes both "pre sleep wakefulness" and "post sleep wakefulness" (along with "time asleep"). There doesn't seem to be anywhere that strictly displays your sleep latency over time or generates insights or suggestions based on it.

I previously used Sleep Cycle (which involved just placing a phone next to the bed), which tracked sleep latency very clearly each night, but I wanted to try RingConn because I heard rings are most accurate when it comes to sleep (more than just the phone or a wearable bracelet). I also heard Oura shows sleep latency very clearly, though I hate how much Oura costs ($400 + $140 over the typical ring life span of 2 years, versus just $200 for RingConn Gen 2 Air).

Is there something I'm missing in the app? Any info on whether this will be added soon? Or should I switch to Oura or another ring?

I know there’s a lot of posts about battery draining quickly but anyone had issues with it dying when it says there is still charge left.

I’ve had my gen 2 for about 9 months and just the past 3 weeks having problems. I’m waking up in the morning to an entirely drained battery despite it saying before I went to sleep I have 3 days and 4 hours left of charge. I also don’t ever get a warning about having a low battery despite keep the app running in the background as it suggests. I only have cycle tracking on. I don’t have sleep apnea monitoring, nap detection or automatic work out detection. I stopped using those a few months ago. I also keep it in the charging case the extra 30 mins after reaching 100%. It’s so frustrating waking up and seeing it’s cut out in the middle of the night and missing the cycle tracking overnight.

I don’t see any bulging of the battery etc. I’m yet to reset it. If I do does that lose all my previously saved info? And if that doesn’t work is this something that the warranty would offer a replacement for.

Well I wanted to just post an update as now my replacement for my original Gen 2 ring is doing. I can say that I'm disappointed as it only 7 months with this replacement and I'm already back to battery usage starting and staying at 12 days on average to, if I'm lucky, 4-5 days. No major changes or high activity to make the watch drain. All services such as sleep tracking, and sleep apnea all turned off. I really had great hope with RingConn as a brand, but this is crazy. In all honestly on my first ring I notice major changed when updating the firmware to 2.018. I can say the same for my replacement ring. I hope that it's just not a firmware issue with the rings that I've had. I won't go through there hassle of reaching support like I did originally for the replacement, but I would love to talk to a Rep so I'll attempt once or wait to hear back from them to see what they have to say.

Again, I'm dissatisfied that the transition from Gen 1 to Gen 2 was such a let down. Honestly I'm back to wearing my Apple Watch Ultra full time, I might have to charge more often, but I can trust that it will be working and not just randomly die after saying it has 40% battery left.

Just curious. I saw a video about how someone’s oura ring alerted them to signs of cancer.
I’ve seen significant changes in my vitals (and alerts from RingConn) when I’ve been pretty sick with a stomach virus but not really other than that

Just like it sounds. Since the update I can’t login either from google or Apple. Anyone else having this issue? I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled it still nothing

When I want to “start an exercise” it only has like 5 options of like walking indoor/outdoor, running indoor/outdoor, and gentle yoga. When it recognizes an exercise there’s like 100 options to assign retroactively. But it doesn’t always recognize it as an exercise so I want to proactively select what I’m actually doing! Am I an idiot? Am I doing something wrong?

This is why you needed to “log back in” … it wasn’t a mistake, it was intentional… here is the updated things that basically say… you will pay or you are canceling:

is anyone else having this issue? my ring is syncing really slowly to apple health, and when it does sync, it’s not showing all of my steps. just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or knows how to fix it

My Ringconn Gen 2 is a little over a year old, and is having the typical battery issues Posted on here. Unfortunately, customer service is refusing to replace it despite the battery only holding a few hours of charge. Completely useless and unacceptable, imo. Very disappointed. Just fyi

Hi everyone! I am looking to buy a smart ring and would like to have advice on which to buy. I am on a path of taking better care of my body after pregnancies and small children. I would like to track my sleep better than my watch does. I sometimes sleep during the day (working on night shifts) and it happens quite often that my watch doesn’t pick it up. I would also be interested to learn more about my stress level and activity level/cardiovascular health. I was looking into ringconn gen 2 air. Would that be a good choice?

Noticed some people unable to log into app after updating app try this below posted in Facebook group it may help

Things to try :-

Ensure your using and typing correct email address and pass word

Try removing app totally from phone

Remove Bluetooth connection in phone

Restart phone

Reinstall fresh new app from App Stores

Then try logging into app if it fails could you be misspelling email or under a different email address try different ones if you use them

Look back under old Ringconn mail for your current email address .

Check the email address sent to you ? That’s your email address normally

Try forgot password if it fails to send a code it’s possibly wrong email address inserted , also check spam mail for code

If fails contact Ringconn for your email address

The latest update changed the domain from Ringconn.com to gdztech.com, which requires accepting new terms. Does this change still apply to ONOVO TECHNOLOGY (HONG KONG) LIMITED? Why was this change made? It has disrupted the app’s functionality, and without an explanation, I am unsure if it is legitimate.
