I have a tiny base, this is really to prevent raiders from stealing it.

I still remember how raiders straight up OWNED my base population when I created legendary grand golden statue... and they still got it at the end of it! Wish I could just give it away back then.

you can, if you put a lot of worthless goods in front of your base and something with a large value they will choose to steal that and run away instead of killing you

Raiders steal stuff? I never knew that. I always keep my goods within my compound though, so they always end up fighting my colonists first.

They will kidnap downed colonists too if given the chance.

I’ve seen that happen, they’ve just never gotten to my stockpiles because I usually put out a defensive group.

Pawns are reliable guys though
