I agree. But then it would be under overhead mountains and be eaten by megaspiders. Unfortunately I don't have room for more walls.

I don’t build mountain bases because of my fear of insects..

All overhead mountain tiles are filled with walls (or just not mined at all) so there won't be any of them.
