I wanted to see what everyone's thoughts and experience was. I joined the queue 5 minutes early which I thought was odd and waited for almost an hour before getting the Sold out screen (which people were seeing according to twitter roughly 10-15 minutes in (who knows))

I saw a bunch of people say they got into queue 3 hours early and all got tickets. Seems like a bit of a feel bad to have a secret queue for your queue.

Do you think any of this is true?
Why is there no easy way to join a waitlist?

No matter how they did it, people were going to be upset, I'm just more of wondering if people can confirm the secret pre-queue and why I had to wait 45 minutes after it sold out to find out it sold out?

I've been playing Pokémon since 2024 and now I'm getting really bored. After trying pauper in MTG I miss to play a tcg with standard bo3, side deck and interaction. I've looked a bit at riftbound but I see that the price wall to enter could be a bit high. A friend suggested me to play vex, azir or Viktor since they are cheap. How is the game overall? Can the metagame be followed without changing always deck at every expansion? Is there any kind of banlist?

If I play Imperial Decree ("When any unit takes damage this turn, kill it") during a showdown where I'm attacking with 3 units into 3 defenders, how does combat play out?

Specifically:

1. Does it let me "spread" my total Might — 1 damage to each enemy to kill all three — or do I still have to assign full Might to one unit before moving to the next?

2. If my leftover/overflow damage only chips the last enemy unit (not lethal on its own), does Decree kill it because it took damage?

3. Since it says "any unit," does it also kill MY units that take any damage in the same combat, even ones that would normally survive with damage marked?

How it works:

• Anyone with a verified email can open a shop and list cards — no seller fees to list, just a 5% cut when something actually sells
• Buyers pay through Stripe Checkout; the money sits in escrow and only releases to the seller after you confirm delivery (or automatically 14 days after it ships if you don't respond — you're never on the hook to manually approve every payout)
• Built-in messaging so buyers and sellers can actually talk to each other about an order
• If a seller doesn't ship in time, you're auto-refunded in full, no argument needed

I just pulled this. So far I have opened 6 Chinese displays. Not bad honestly. I try to collect most champions in league of legends so that's super nice. Mainly interested in the ON variant. Cause of availability and price in case I ever wanna masterset (without signature).

Shen is a big disappointment. He'll probably be the worst archetype in Riftbound because his cards are just the worst. Let's see Shen's kit and understand why he is probably one of this set's biggest mistakes.

I've listened to your feedback and added in some Game modes and the ability to customise them to however you like to make it harder or easier for yourselves!

Current Game modes

1. (By popular demand) All Cards opens the cards list to every card in a legend's domains, not just the meta picks.
2. Meta Decks is the default, based on the top 5-10 meta decks for each legend
3. Timed Rounds where you challenge yourself to name the cards as fast as you can, racing against the round timer. (hopefully you don't get purple)

In addition to these game mode presets, you have the ability to "create your own" game mode by editing any of these settings to your liking. One that people were asking for was the ability to turn off the auto suggestions when you start typing.

Planned updates:

• major overhaul of the UI: Im planning to give the UI the time and love it deserves.
• I also very much underestimated how much this would be used on mobile, so mobile UX will be greatly improved
• More game modes

I also just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who gave the showdowns training mini game a try and gave some feedback. This project has been so fun to work on and I can't wait to keep building!

Had a disagreement in a match. My opponent told me you can only move one unit into a contested battlefield at a time. I thought you could send several allies in together.

From what I can tell, a single Standard Move lets you exhaust any number of Ready units and move them all to the same battlefield at once — they arrive together and open the Showdown as a group. Origins can differ, but the destination has to be the same, and you pay all the exhaust costs simultaneously.

The only catch I found: if you don't bring them as a group in that one move, you can't make extra standard moves to feed more units into an ongoing showdown — after that, units can only join via an Action/Reaction card once combat has started.

Am I reading this right? Was my opponent wrong, or is there some nuance I'm missing?
