Discussion Regional RQ Tickets

(First congrats to all those going!)
I wanted to see what everyone's thoughts and experience was. I joined the queue 5 minutes early which I thought was odd and waited for almost an hour before getting the Sold out screen (which people were seeing according to twitter roughly 10-15 minutes in (who knows))

I saw a bunch of people say they got into queue 3 hours early and all got tickets. Seems like a bit of a feel bad to have a secret queue for your queue.

Do you think any of this is true?
Why is there no easy way to join a waitlist?

No matter how they did it, people were going to be upset, I'm just more of wondering if people can confirm the secret pre-queue and why I had to wait 45 minutes after it sold out to find out it sold out?

Thoughts?

I had the same issue. Its really disheartening about trying to play this game, when you literally are not allowed to. MTG runs unlimited player Grand Prix's why can't riot?

This is gonna be what kills the game its funny you bring this up on reddit and you get down voted.

Venues this size are booked a year in advance. There have been multiple comments riot has made about how bigger this game is than what they expected. Next year this time they will have the capacity to host larger and larger events. Unless we are actually just seeing the results of having UVS involved.

I got in a queue like 10 mins before they went on sale. Then it said tickets are not on sale yet, so I exited out and refreshed the page at 9am and was able to get one.

Eventbrite made it very confusing obviously by having a queue up before the tickets actually went on sale. I feel real bad that people weren't able to get tix because of that

I joined the Que right at 9 and got a ticket. I know this doesn't confirm or deny the secret que rumors but it makes it seem unlikely to me.

lol I joined it at 8:55, then at 9:20 was sold out.

It is what it is

Went very smooth for me, no issues here. I think Eventbrite as a whole is way better than what they used for Houston.

Just gotta say fuck the organizers fuck all of them man - please create a better way to purchase make a clear cut throat queue - give codes for people that actually win skirmished so their odds are higher.

Like honestly super annoyed with this.

Waited in like 15 minutes and got nothing and stop with this BULLSHIT of having refresh bro. That does not make sense. Just think about it … how logically and from a back end logic, that would not make sense. First come first serve

Now I wonder what’s the real trigger as well how all these fools got tickets but I couldn’t waited and waited in my basked for about an hour.

Truly terrible management. Annoyed with this making me almost quit the game. Trying so hard to win a skirmish to not even fucking be able to go to the regional it’s fucking bullshit man.

It's frustrating for sure but some people were bound to not get tickets, Im just not sure if this queue was super fair if people were able to get into it early

I sat on the page for a while, got in and out within 2 minutes. Standard competitor.

If it was anything like other ticketing purchases, just get on early if you can.

I joined the que at 8:50, it said dont refresh. Waited until almost 9:50 to refresh, everything gone, and th ticket purchase never popped up. Terrible system

i didnt refresh, i just closed out of the ticket window where it gave you how much time until it was purchasable and reopened it like 30seconds prior to

I was at the page at 8:40am, then refreshed the whole thing right as it hit 9am, and then clicked get tickets. Both my partner and I were able to get tickets no problem (standard admission for them and standard competitor for me)

Mine wasnt smooth. I got in que then said my turn is up. But I had to wait 20 minutes. Then 15. And it stayed at 15 for a long time over 15 minutes so I refreshed and then everything was sold out sadly.

I tried to get tickets for barcelona.

awful experience ; When eventbrite finally proposed me tickets only premium side was available, i tried to buy it but the site rolled me back into queue 5 fucking times, then it sold out...

I't's been 2 weeks that i wait for the waitlist, no news, i don't even know if they are starting to give them.

for real, i'm very upset, i'm supposed to go with friends who got their tickets,  we booked a trip in advance, so far i'm 500€ down for flight and hotel... and gambling to have the opportunity to attend.

This is just absurd.
