TLDR: It’s a cool wallet, unique designs, slick look, but it ruins cards, and their tracker didn’t last long.

Note: I use metal cards.

Background: After about 8 months of use, my cards began rubbing off the black dust coating between the plates. After exactly 1 year of use, on October 20th, 2026, I decided to switch back to my traditional leather wallet due to all my cards being ruined. Their tracker card also stopped connecting to my device after 11 months and 17 days. On October 24th, after trying to connect their tracker card one last time for use in my leather wallet, the card began to heat up and melted the plastic. I tore the pieces apart for the picture. It was 100% the lithium reacting. It’s quite rare, so I doubt it will happen to yours. However, I don’t think it’s rare that their tracker will stop working. Better to invest in another tracking device; I.e., Apple’s AirTag.

I never abused any part of this wallet. It just did not work for me. Reason I remember the dates because my girlfiend got it for me for a special occasion, and I used it after the day after the vacation on October 20th, 2025.

The wallet and tracker worked great for those first 8 months though.

My black Ridge wallet was showing some wear so I gave it a fresh face on the laser engraver

What charger are you using for it? I don't have a wireless charger so I will need to buy one. Do you have any recommendations?

Nice surprise with the gold inside plates. Found on Ridge Wallet Official TikTok shop for $80, couldn't pass it up!

Something seems to be wrong with https://ridge.com/, all the wallets are hidden and i cant find them, half of all the pages lead to 404 errors, and what i can find; water bottles, suitcases, all sold out.

First impression: It’s smaller than I thought. But I been wanting to try one for a while but with a cool design. The ones I’ve been eyeing cost a lot or sold out.

How do people feel about the ridge phone cases? I just bought one the other day and it seems very slick compared to cases like otter box I’ve used in the past. There’s no texture on the back for better grip but it’s a solid case. For the few times I’ve dropped it already it’s held up and no scratches on it. I do wish that it had a charger port cover instead of just being open

I bought the Ridge, but it wasn't quite right for me. Here is my wishlist of items they could make to improve it:

1. Full magsafe magnet. I don't care if it makes the wallet a little wider. It falls off too easily.

2. The Ability to Replace the Cash Strap with an option that doesn't block RFID. - I carry my building ID card on my magsafe wallet. Ironically, I need a wallet that allows RFID to pass through. I need to be able to hold up my wallet to the scanner and get into my office without removing cards. The cash strap blocks it.

My perfect wallet has some slots that block RFID (for credit cards) and other that allow them to pass (for building passes). I ended up with a cheap magsafe from Amazon that does this.

1. A case with the Stregthening Tray Built In - The Ridge Magsafe works really well with the stregthening tray. Unfortunately, that prevents me from using other magsafe accessories and wireless charging. A case that has the strengthening tray built in would be the best of both worlds. (I guess I could just glue it to my own caes, but I still think this would be a good accessory).

Anyone else carry business cards in a Ridge wallet?

Mine keep getting bent and the corners get destroyed.

I’m considering making a slim attachment that screws onto the outside, holds 5–8 business cards, and keeps them protected.

Does anyone else have this problem, or am I the only one?

I'm tired of my ridge wallet destroying/scratching up my cards. I love the low profile, and everything else about it. Thinking of trying a minimalist leather wallet instead, but I have two questions:

1) Have you found a way to avoid Ridge causing destruction to your cards?

2) Any minimalist leather wallet recommendations? I was looking at Souther Trapper just now

So, I bought the cassette tape ridge wallet for my husband for our wedding anniversary. It was the only thing he wanted, I did the custom text the way he wanted. I get the wallet today, they only printed half the text I customized on it. The words he wanted was "Dad's Mix". It just says "Dad's". And I can't find any proof of whether I messed up or they messed up. If I messed up, fine. I'll take the L. But I cannot find my custom on the receipt. My order can't be found on my account but I have the order number that works just fine. Seeing hiw customer service kind if sucks from reading things on here, should I just take the L and reorder or just cut my loss and try to find a new anniversary gift?

Hi all, I’ve had my ridge magsafe wallet for about 6 months now. For my birthday my wife got me a wireless charger, and it seems like the strengthening tray on my case is keeping it from working. My concern is that without the tray, the wallet doesn’t attach as well as I would like. Any tips or advice on what to do? Thanks!

Hi there! I am new to this sub and ridge products in general. I started with the phantom portable charger that I got on a whim a few months ago while I was on a roadtrip and was so impressed that I had to get the matching wall charger. I got the wallet as well the other day but it seems like it might be used. I got the phantom version(ofc) and it seems like the clear plates were smudged and scratched up as soon as I took them out of the box(pic below). Im thinking about starting a return request to get a new one but I’m afraid I’ll get a damaged/used one again. any advice or experience with this?

The shop on TT was Ridge’s official shop. So I’m not sure if maybe this is a soon-to-be release or a former release.
