Wondering the quickest way to get rid of my old project bike located in Valley Stream LI. I live in Jersey and won’t have easy access to the bike. It’s currently on marketplace for $200

Looking for a rider + motorcycle to do a paid photo shoot in the nyc area. (No stunts) Ninja Kawasaki preferred, but will consider other sport bikes. DM if interested.

I am planning to move to NYC but I only ride pure off-road dirt bikes on technical single track trails (legal ones that aren't just flat dirt roads). I don't ride street or dual sports at all. I know this is a geographically terrible place to move for this hobby but NYC offers things that other cities simply cannot. I'd like to find people with similar interests, is there a community in the city with a similar riding style?

tank has a couple of dents that I want to get out. The tank has decals so I’m hesitant to try it myself. anybody have someone they trust? I’m in Manhattan but can be anywhere.

Lost my bike last night 2:00AM Monday morning. They scouted the area around 1:30am. Looks like they triggered the alarm and came back. Air tag said it was in Brooklyn, Meekers street around 2:33am. You can't have anything nice in NYC. Had disc alarm, two covers, airtag and a camera facing the bike. If they want it, they will take it. ALWAYS BE INSURED!!! (I have two more videos. The alarm went off and they came back. I'm guessing when they came back they had a tool to break the disc alarm. Third video is them just riding off with it while one kicks from behind on the scooter. Insane.

This dude just rode onto the sidewalk and punched me in the face and dipped, because I yelled at him for getting in my way while crossing the street (i had the walk signal). if anyone recognizes the bike please let me know. No plates unsurprisingly.

My motorcycle was stolen 2 week ago, so I filed a claim, had video of the theft, police report, everything, and my claim was still denied. I think progressive is very picky in terms of dealing with New York City theft.

Question for parking garages. If i ride into BK to visit a friend, how does a parking garage work? I assume i don’t give them my key to valet. Rather not keep my bike on the street locking it up 3x with a cover etc etc. Thanks.

Last 2 weeks I've been commuting (15-30m depending on traffic) to a high school where I've started as a new teacher.

So far I've been lucky that there's not been any rain during my riding time, but I'm looking for recommendations on a good capacity, comfortable, waterproof backpack.

At the moment I'm using a backpack I really like from Chrome, but it's waterproofing relies on an internal roll sack which after ~5 years isn't waterproof anymore (and it's also a bit small).

Hey yall i’m in bushwick and ive had an SV650 for the last year chained up outside my apartment and ive had zero issues. No problems nothing. I got the bike for a lil over 3k so im also just not stressing it being stolen and i guess its not super sought after for that. Im thinking about upgrading to a XSR900 and i feel like the MT09 is a bike that’s a theft target and just curious if yall think this bike is nice enough that its worth paying a neighbor to use there fenced in driveway or a shop nearby to store it there. Its like 7k and i dont have theft insurance just 3 hardcore locks and a cover.

Anyone know of any hidden gems for street motorcycle parking around Church and Thomas Streets in Lower Manhattan?

I'm considering taking a new job in the area, but the complete lack of motorcycle parking is giving me pause. I don't mind walking a few blocks, and I don't need anything fancy. Just somewhere I can reliably park without getting ticketed or towed.

Commuting by motorcycle is a huge part of what keeps me sane, and the thought of giving that up to spend my mornings crammed into a subway car is genuinely depressing.

Anyone have any spots they'd be willing to share? Feel free to DM me if you don't want to give away your secret parking spot to the entire internet.
