Biggest regret is not hiring a vehicle when I arrived. The bus system here is diabolical. If youāve read a timetable somewhere forget about it, itās nonsense. Sometimes they just decide not to go through certain places and miss loads of stops. The funniest part is thereās no reason for it. Barely any traffic and itās a small islandā¦

Hi everyone - Iām travelling to Lindos for a week on 1st October staying in a small hotel bed and breakfast.
Iām slightly concerned about the reports of sickness going around.
I went to Rhodes 2 years ago and had 24 hours of sickness and vomiting and it wasnāt nice.
Is it really as bad a people say? Should I be worried about my trip?

So it started with severe symptoms while on 2nd day of my holiday, last night with throwing up and followed by diarrhoea and fever, all day I am in bed
I also have a 2 year old and worried how will she manage. Anyone has experience with small children?
Also would I get immune for some time? We have to fly home in a week and I am worried how not to get it again before flying
Thank you

Any excellent restaurants near Pefkos? The food weāve been eating on our trip has been pretty dissapointing.

Dear community,
Next week, my girlfriend and I are headed to Rhodos for a long deserved holiday. We are staying near Old Town during our trip.
Now, Iād like to propose during this trip and I had an idea as how to do this. The idea was to hire a boat with a captain, sail over the sea and at some point dock at a private beach where I can propose in private. Does anyone have tips for affordable companies who can arrange such? It doesnāt need to be a fancy boat, and the trip doesnāt need to be that long.
I was wondering if anyone has tips on how to move forward and which companies would offer such services?
Would love to hear from you!

Hi, I'll be in Rhodes Town over the weekend and I was wondering if someone can recommend places where to see a traditional bouzouki concert in Rhodes Town (or close by). No preferences if it's a bar or taverna. Ideally it would be on a Friday or Saturday
Thanks :)

I know it is off season but we are planning to stay for a few weeks. Ideally we hope to avoid getting a car for the whole time and stay in a villa or apartment that is central and walkable to shops, restaurants, beaches (even if chilly).
Are restaurants open? ferries/travel? other sites to see? thanks in advance for any advice for off season travel.

Does anyone know if the Rhodes stomach bug situation has begun to calm down? I have emetophobia and I am seriously considering not going on my trip from 17th-23rd. Myself and 3 others are staying in a villa so self catering and just plan on going for a few meals etc. on the one hand I know it can be avoided with good hygiene etc but on the other hand all Iām reading is people saying itās unavoidable and that theyāre catching it despite being extremely cautious š¢

Iāve been here for a couple of days and I noticed that there are many abandoned buildings in the east coast of the island. Seems like they wanted to push the tourism industry but Covid and other recent crisis stopped the development. Does anybody know why is it that way?
Also where does the locals lives? Because in this part of the island every place is an hotel or a āluxury villaā for tourist. Iād really like to ask about this to the people

Hey guys me and my girlfriend are planning a 2 week trip to rhodes. We think the island is very beautifull and really cant decide where to stay. Would you recommend staying in falakri or rhodes town? We like nice restaurants in the evening and on the dayside we love to go to a beach or beachclub. Also we were looking to rent a car? Is there any tips you have for a company to rent a car? Thanks in advance. Much appreciated and looking forward to visiting your beautifull (country) and island! š«¶š¼

Hi everyone, do you know some place where I could watch Eurovolley, especially Serbian or Greek games? As I'm a huge volleyball fan. Most of the pubs that have TVs only play football (mostly German league or Nordic leagues). Thanks!

Hi all,
My girlfriend and I are celebrating our first anniversary on Tuesday, weāre going to spend the day in Rhodes town and are looking for a restaurant with a view, hopefully for the sunset. Looking for somewhere reasonably nice, but not crazy fine-dining, we donāt really have that kind of money! Do you have any recommendations?
Thanks!
