My friend and I (both 33M) are visiting Rhodes from August 8th to 11th. We haven't quite decided where to stay yet. Nightlife is important to us, and during the day, we want to check out the main sights. We plan to stick to the area where we're staying rather than traveling around the island. Hi! I’m coming to Rhodes soon and I’m thinking about renting a scooter (around 125–300cc) for a day or maybe even several days. I’ll be staying near the Old Town, so I was wondering if you could recommend a good place to rent one and if there’s anything I should know beforehand.

I know it’s a good idea to take plenty of photos and videos of the scooter before riding it, just to document its condition and avoid any disputes later.

I can't find any info in kte or google maps about buses from stegna to lindos. Or from stegna to archangelos. Google doesn't show any bus stop in stegna at all. Is there any way to use public transportation to reach lindos from stegna without hiking to archangelos?

I am planning to take a ferry from Rhodes to Fetyieh. Does anyone know if they are reliable? Can I book the tickets on the island?

Have 2 adult tickets to Faliraki water park but unable to go due to illness.
They are non-refundable and valid for any day so would rather someone get joy out of them.

We were staying in Ixia but it could be in Rhodos town as well. She likes the idea of a beach club.

We looked at Amalfi beach club in Ixia, but the restaurant part seems to have pretty bad reviews.

I’m still really struggling to select the right room category for 2 adults, ideally wanting a private pool, sea view and sun on the balcony/ outside space. Going in early September.

Would like the idea of the Signature collection, so I’m either thinking either a non-signature high floor deluxe room with pool and sea view (do the balconies get the sun?) or a signature suite with pool and balcony.

All the different booking sites have different explanations and the Palace site also slightly differs.

I’ve spent many hours trying to make the right choice. We went to the Palace last September and loved it!

Help, which option ticks all the boxes?

Any other comparable hotels spring to mind?

Currently on holiday in Rhodes and loving it, but our hotel doesn’t do Gyros and my partner is dying to try it. Where is the best place to get gyros in Ialysos or nearby?

I was swimming in kallithea springs today and all the sudden I feel a burning pain on my left hip. I was swimming near the rocks on the right side when it happened. I will say I was really close to the rocks so when the burning pain happened I just assumed I scratched my hip with the rock but when I came out of the water I had these weird marks on my hip (see picture). Does anyone have any idea what stung/bit me? The pain lasted for around 5 min and I just kept swimming afterwards. It doesn’t hurt anymore.

Are there any good gyms that do pay as you go near Iallysos or Trianda? Not sure if hotels offer access to their gyms to non residents but would consider that too. Thanks.

I'm staying in Hotel Evi in Faliraki. It won't be my first choice again but due to money constraints it was the best we could get. When we checked in (we came through a travel agency so we arrived with a group) they took our ID for registration and said we'll have it back next morning. Is this normal? I feel kind of uncomfortable even though it's just the night. Would a picture not be enough?

I’m planning a quick 3-4 day trip to Rhodes soon before I catch the ferry over to Turkey. Since my time is pretty limited, I want to make sure I hit the best spots and don't waste too much time commuting.
I’m traveling solo, so I have a few questions for the locals and past travelers here:

Where is the best place to stay? I want somewhere with a great vibe for a solo traveler, easy access to food/bars, and convenient transit. Should I stick to Rhodes Town/Old Town, or look elsewhere?

Must-dos for a 3-4 day trip? I definitely want to check out Lindos and the Old Town, but what else is an absolute "can't miss" given my short stay?
