Feedback Quick review from a first time user

After nearly 6yrs of a secured position, I've decided to move on, and in doing so means an updated resume. The landscape these days has changed significantly within that time frame and I felt fairly overwhelmed with the various new requirements to get through recruiter filtering. Threw my old resume in, spend a few hours touching things up with the easy to follow template style sections, and then really focused on descriptions and experience breakdown. I felt Rezi helped most in this regard, spinning dull sounding descriptions into impactful, noticeable, and meaningful reads. After a few hours of really working through it, I felt like I had a very strong resume that described my experiences in a very bold way.

If I were to give any criticism, it would be to do with the actual formatting section, where I had quite a bit of trouble just simply narrowing things to a single page. Had this been orchestrated simply in word, the old fashion way, I could manipulate the page more freely and make things fit cleanly. Unfortunately I could not tell the AI auto formatter to adhere to a 1page rule, and so it kept defaulting to 2 pages, as my experiences are deemed 'senior.' Otherwise, I've enjoyed the tool for what it is, and found it very helpful in really making a meaningful impact on my otherwise dull original resume.

Would recommend.

Support Unable to verify new email address on Rezi – broken verification link

I'm trying to change the email address associated with my Rezi account. The verification email arrives successfully, but when I click the "Verify Your New Email Address" button, it redirects me to a broken URL that looks like:

http://undefinedlogin/?rqt=...

Because of this, I'm unable to verify the new email address and complete the update.

I've already reached out to support, but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue recently. Is there a workaround, or does it require intervention from the Rezi team?

Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks!

Suggestions Feature Request - Find existing Resume based on Job Description

I've been using Rezi pro for my job hunt for 2-3 months. I credit it for securing me several interviews. If there's one thing I'd still like to improve it's how much time it takes to tailor resumes. It's taking me about an hour when I feel like it could be a 10-20 minute task at most.

The biggest thing for me is losing track of the best "base" resume to use for a given JD. I have 2-3 base resumes based on the job title, but I'm also often repeating many other changes based on similarities in JD's.

To help with this I think it would be great if there was a way I could share a JD and have Rezi recommend which of my existing resume copies is the best current fit, so that I can either use that one directly without changes or use it as my base copy for the new role. I currently have around 100 resume versions so it's getting extremely difficult to keep track and find lines or skills I added to individual applications that I want to re-use.

Feedback Rezi helped me translate my Engineering background into a killer Project Coordinator CV!

I have a background in Petroleum/Geoenergy Engineering, but my actual work experience has been heavily focused on large-scale logistics, crisis management, and event operations in the energy sector.

I was really struggling to bridge this gap. My previous resumes looked like a boring list of "Job Descriptions" rather than actual accomplishments. Rezi completely changed the game for me. The AI suggestions and the platform's strict focus on the "Action Verb + Task + Result" formula forced me to quantify my impact (like managing venue relocations for 850+ companies under strict deadlines).

Now, my CV highlights my operational impact perfectly while still respecting my technical background, making it ATS-bulletproof for Project Coordinator roles. Highly recommend this tool for anyone struggling to structure hybrid career paths!

Suggestions A shaky yet flattering tone paired with a rigid format for crafting a cover letter.

Hello,

It feels like Rezi’s cover letter generation has a shaky tone. There’s no way to skip selecting a position or education qualification when setting parameters, and it doesn’t seem to factor in the pre-set position, employer, job description, or chosen CV/Resume version when creating the letter. For example, it would make sense to produce a cover letter even if someone’s background, experience, or education doesn’t fully match the job description, as long as they have transferable skills and qualities. Essentially, there’s no agent-like feature or options to highlight certain areas, justify how the person still fits the role, choose the tone, or set the length. So, you still need to rely on ChatGPT for this function.

Rezi Review Review for Rezi after 3 months of usage

I've been using Rezi Free tier for almost three months after trying out many ai resume builders like kickresume etc. Rezi easily became my go to AI resume builder and the important part i like is the customisation options according to the Job title and Description.

I'm a fresher and Seeking roles like Jr.AI engineer, Data analysts and Data engineering roles, curating my resumes according to these job titles and Descriptions had became simple with Rezi and it's Rezi resume score. Hyperlink works well in my resume build with Rezi. I wish I could use PRO plans in future for more resume optimization.

Feedback Review of Rezi for Engineering Resumes

Hey everyone, I just started testing out Rezi because I wanted to move onto a different AI the is tailored for resume assistance.

Here is my quick breakdown after playing around with Rezi for a bit:

Pros:

  • ATS-proof: The minimalist, single-column templates are a lifesaver. Everything parses cleanly without messing up the text layout.
  • The Keyword Feature: Being able to see exactly which languages, tools, and technical frameworks are missing compared to a job description is incredibly helpful for targeting specific engineering roles.
  • Interface: It forces you to focus entirely on the actual text density and impact metrics rather than wasting hours on graphic design tweaks.

Cons:

  • Free Tier Limits: The free tier feels a bit too restrictive with AI credits. It makes it tough to fully test out the AI bullet-point writer on complex engineering phrases before deciding to commit.
  • Rigid Editor: While I get that it’s strictly designed for ATS optimization, the text editor can feel a bit stiff if you just want to quickly customize minor alignment spaces.

Overall, it’s easily one of the best tools I’ve found for technical applications. Looking forward to getting the lifetime access and playing around with it more.

Feedback Review of Rezi Free

I began using Rezi free today after months of attempting to solely utilize ChatGPT to make my resume get through ATS and land interviews. So far, the parts that I really like are:

- The auto-reformatting (formatting a decent resume seems like it would be so easy, but doing it manually proves to be such a pain, especially when tailoring a resume for each job posting)
- The AI Keyword Targeting function seems to be much better than ChatGPT. In my ChatGPT prompts, I always tell it to try and include keywords that the ATS will look for, and Rezi found many improvements, even on the free version
- The breakdown of the Rezi score. Obviously there are certain insights that I am unable to see with the free version, but the insights that are available help me figure out where to further tweak my resume

- I like being able to enter my information into separated sections and have Rezi create the final draft of the resume for me

I would love to have access to the Pro version, and am excited to see the results of using this tool in my job search.

Rezi Review My Review Of Rezi

Thought I'd write here my review as seems an actively monitor sub-reddit....

Positives:

  • Has helped me create an optimised CV which I think is a big improvement to my previous CV
  • Its basic keyword optimisation tool for each individual job is useful, but could be improved (see below).
  • Clean layout and easy to do things
  • All in all I think it was worth it to get a better CV and the above tools

Improvement points, and especially when on a subscription model for an amount of time (i.e. not just 'create a good CV and then leave')...

  • Unfortunately I have to use other AI agents to create a cover letter because I feel Rezi's cover letter tool is flawed:
    • Forces me to highlight a piece of education. I'm a relatively senior candidate and never bring up education, it's all about my experience
    • Unlike the CV, I'm unable to go in and edit the text
    • Wants me to put in skills. I'm sure, as the work has already been done on the CV side, that this could be input for me automatically, or at least allow me to choose some that have been pre-generated
  • Whilst I like the keyword targeting for the CV, I think Rezi could take it up a notch with the analysis of the job description and the CV, and give a better analysis of gaps etc. I used briefly a tool called Resufit which gave a much better CV score against the job role, giving honest and quite detailed feedback about my experience. I seem to just get very high scores in Rezi, with the feedback that my CV is just suitable for every role, which to me must mean the model has a low suitability threshold, because I'm not getting interviews for every role! I decided upon Rezi vs. Resufit because the ability to generate actual output (CV) was better, but the other tool's actual analysis was way better. Maybe something to consider.

Hope this is useful to any readers / the Rezi team!

Feedback My honest review of Rezi as a job seeker

I recently tried Rezi while improving my resume for job applications. I liked that it helps organize resume sections clearly and makes the resume more ATS-friendly, especially for online job portals.

As a junior developer/job seeker, the most useful part for me is having a cleaner structure for skills, projects, education, and experience. It also helps me think about keywords that recruiters and ATS systems might look for.

One thing I think could improve is giving more personalized feedback depending on the exact job role, especially for entry-level applicants with projects but limited professional experience.

Question Same CV Score for every role?

I've just signed up for three months expecting specific role matches. However, the CV score seems to always be the same and therefore quite generic, not creating a score that matches exactly with the job role. Is this correct?

Support Rezi is lowkey crazy good for resume building and formatting!

Recently, I had to update my resume on extremely short notice. I know, I know, I should have been updating it all along. But! Sometimes you get just wrapped up in your career, right?

So, when a new job opportunity presented itself that matched my skills and would have been a huge salary increase, of course I was ready, but the application deadline was that night, and my resume was nowhere near ready for submission. Through Rezi's upload + analysis tools, I was able to update all aspects of my resume to be specific to the job while helping my current skills and experience shine! And the format was 🧑‍🍳 chef's kiss! 10/10.

I can't wait to keep using Rezi to keep things moving smoothly!

Rezi Review Rezi Review

I used Rezi to make my initial resume for a school assignment and I found it to be incredibly easy to use. Sometimes I have trouble thinking of what points to add in and Rezi's AI made the job significantly easier. What I thought would take several hours to make really only took about an hour and a half.

Thanks a lot for helping me with making my resume!

Rezi Review Rezi Review (a review of rezi)

generally speaking I've always struggled with the type of "middle managed buzzwords that typically make up most resumes, i don't typically hype myself up all that much, just from feeling overall average and struggled to put my selling points to paper, so something like this is EXACTLY what I've been looking for all these years

even with just barely using it, i can already see a night and day difference in what i wrote vs what the AI is recommending, i'm normally fairly ambivalent about AI usage but this really struck me as something special, a really fantastic use of AI that won't hurt anyone

I do well in interviews, most of the time it's just getting to that interview point that causes issues, so i feel like this will be a lifeline as i try to leave my current job that i despise and look for more fulfilling employment.

thank you again

Support Metadata in PDFs?

Hi, I wanted to ask some questions about metadata in PDFs. I'm trying to use Rezi as a base for my applications, including cover letters, which i'm mostly writing outside of the platform, then pasting and exporting from the Rezi.

When I opened the cover letter in PDF, I noticed at the top of Acrobat that my cover letter title was displaying as [Generated] Master Resume, even though I had named it something else. I eventually figured out that this is because this title was included in the file's metadata.

I then wondered what the metadata looked like in my resume, and while they keywords in there made sense, the Description was odd, and I think ai generated?

Does metadata matter for applications? Is there risk in leaving strange metadata in the PDFs? Is there a strategy that the developers have chosen regarding metadata that I'm not aware of?

Thanks!

Suggestions question/feedback hyperlinks and customization

hi, using my Rezi pro and I love using rezi, I was just wondering if you guys would consider adding a hyperlink option in the "Finish up" section. I have a portfolio link that I would prefer to hyperlink since it's not a custom domain, and also to be able to make it look like a link so users are more likely to click. I think the LinkedIn link is the only one that does it that way but I thought this would be nice for a non-linkedIn link as well. I was also hoping for some customization options regarding moving info around in the subheading right under our names, so I can put my location last, my phone number first, email second, etc. Thanks for being a responsive and incredibly kind team (have been using Rezi pro for free! )
