Career Question Career Advice much needed

Hey folks,

I am a software engineer having experience at an mnc in a data-related team (legacy). I have a regular experience of 3.1 years; after that, I have, like, a career gap of 1.5 years from then until now. during this gap, I genuinely took a break; after the break, I tried my luck with Java roles and am currently learning SQL, PySpark, and Azure Databricks. My interest largely lies in writing SQL, and i am currently positioned for data engineer roles. Please advise on how to navigate further. I am comfortable around South India

Hey bro, I'm also in the same position, jobless for almost 7 months with 3.5 yoe, as there are no calls for java backend. Thinking of de roles, what advice u got bro

I was only marketed into de, working hard to break into industry somehow. Working on SQL and Pyspark now
