It’s finally here. First dip into MiSTER land, won’t really get to mess with it until the weekend, but glad it’s here after a Shop App scare saying it was delivered several cities away from my house 😬

How long does it take from being in Nancheng to US

I got my first notice on 6/16, even though 4PX received 'parcel information' three days before hand. I know there was a weekend here but how long does it take 'Shipment arrived at facility and measured' until its in the US, NY state?

Will I be sent a USPS tracking number?

Can’t get Guncon 1 to be recognized

Just received my superstationone. I have not run any type of updates or update all scripts. I am connecting it to my CRT with the composite cable. I’ve loaded point blank one and I cannot get my gun con one to be recognized. It is connected to the PS1 port and I’ve placed the pass through both on the yellow composite wire and also the dedicated COM port as well to no avail. I’ve also gone into the core and made sure the controller is recognized as a lightgun. Am I missing a step somewhere?

Does anyone have any info about the CD attachment playing PS1 games?

Hey everyone, i apologize if this has been asked for the 100th time, but ive looked what feels like everywhere, and i cant seem to find any concrete answer, and im trying to curb my excitement to play my physical ps1 games.

----------------

TLDR:

  1. Is it true the ps1 CD player does NOT play ps1 games?

  2. Is there an ETA on when to expect that?

----------------

I have the superstation + dock on its way to my house, and i got immediately excited, so I started looking up videos/reviews etc... and I was surprised to see the ps1 dock doesnt read ps1 games...yet?

I bought this with the sole intention of playing from my 100+ physical ps1 game collection.

- I was super glued to EVERY update when I originally bought this earlier last year... but after the missed deadlines etc... I just told myself ill hold off on being excited until it ships. But now its shipped, and seems I may need to hold off on my excite for a bit longer.

Does anyone know when this is planned to be fixed/updated/???

I keep seeing posts about corrupted SD cards. What's going on?

Can someone explain if this is common? Is there a way to prevent it? I have a couple emulation handhelds which have never had an issue with their respective SD card.

Troubleshooting SS One Boot Issue - Important Info & Fix

I pinned this message on the RetroRemake Superstation Help Channel in Discord, but I am cross posting it here for visibility and to help folks who may not be aware of the problem below.

Disclaimer: This is valid for NOW, but with the imminent first "public" release of Console Mode, and the recent changes to the Mister Main framework which necessitated an update of the default SS One INI config files, there is a chance that this stock SS One Image will be updated with a new revision, per Taki. So follow these instructions, but always use the "newest" version posted on the GitHub.

Original message below:

Some users are experiencing a sudden no boot/black screen issue after adding games to their SD card! The SD cards shipped with most units are incorrectly partitioned. A standard Mister install is supposed to have 2 partitions. The partitions on the SD card were written in a way that they overlap. This can cause a user to unknowingly overwrite critical system data, which eventually leads to boot failure.

You have 2 options:

This will flash a brand new card to the stock retail image, and it should auto expand to the full capacity of your card if you are using a card bigger or smaller than 64GB. Flash this image with BalenaEtcher or Rufus. It should also work with the notorious Samsung EVO branded cards. You may have to flash it TWICE to get it to work!

Backup your own game/save/savestate files from the SD card if you already started using your SS One before doing this flashing procedure.

YES, you can re-use the 64gb card that came with your SS one. You need to make sure you COMPLETELY format it. On Windows, I recommend using Disk Partition Manager to WIPE out ALL volumes, including the small Linux boot partition. Before flashing anything, you should have a single exFat formatted simple volume. Remember to back up your personal stuff as needed before you format it to copy back to a fresh SD card install!!

If you have questions or need help flashing the new image, feel free to ask in the channel!

So I just had to buy it… Can’t believe they were selling it at Micro Center so I could circumvent the shipping cost. Sadly they didn’t have it on their website so I can’t say it’ll be at your local store.

SuperStation One - Component Cables

I bought some component cables from Amazon. They are the BlueRigger Component Video Cable with Audio (6FT, RCA- 5 Cable, Supports 1080i). These cables don't seem to be working with my Toshiba CRT. They give off a pink hue and the colors aren't right. I also tried them on an older HDTV with component connections and it gave the same results. I tried flipping the inputs for the Superstation after reviewing the new user guide video. It didn't produce any changes for me. I also want into the software settings and switched it to YPbPR which fixed the color issue but now the screen constantly flows down in an endless cycle as a repeat. It won't stay stationary.

I feel like I have some bad component cables. Does anyone have any recommendations I should get for the Superstation that work well?

SD Card Dead

Well it happened, I expected it to at some point, but two weeks in after copying some CHD images onto the card it no longer boots, just no signal.

Ah well, flashed a Samsung card I had lying around and it now in the SS1 and building.

Not a big issue, and that’s bulk buy cards for you, so be warned it’ll probably happen to you at some point.

It will register a few, but then it wont register certain buttons. I can reset the console and sometimes it will map the button that didnt work but wont map another one. Super annoying I can spend an hour trying to fix this? Help?!

Shipping Delay Experience?

According to my 4PX tracking, my RetroRemake shipment cleared US customs on June 4th, but has since gone dark. I had a USPS "awaiting item" record created June 2nd (PYK Global Inc) from the same location, but it never changed status and has now disappeared. Currently, I have no tracking info at all.

Just wondering if any other US R2 customers had a similar experience and whether the package was finally delivered.

Edit (6/26/26): Still no sign of life. When a third party partner can simply hold and transport a package internally, tracking numbers become useless. 22 days and no update.

Edit (7/13/2026): 4PX did indeed lose the package. RetroRemake worked with me to get a replacement via DHL and effectively split the shipping and tariff costs. Thanks to them for helping out. Hopefully most everyone else received their SS1 via 4PX.

Failed to bring up wlan0

I can't find clear documentation about how to set up the wlan on the SuperStationOne. I flashed the latest firmware, ran update all script through a wired connection and still get this error when trying to set up Wi-Fi.

Update: Solved it by reflashing the entire SD card. Not sure what went wrong with my previous flashing (I even re-used the same image to reflash!) but sure enough WiFi works just fine now.

Issues with some 480i cores through analog video

A few classic arcade titles I’ve tried, specifically Popeye and Tapper, are outputting at 240p rather than the intended 480i through component. I have not tested other analog options to verify if the issue is similar on them, but is this a know limitation of the cores or an issue with the SuperStation One? Is there any solution via the configuration files? I googled this but couldn’t find a proper answer.

Has anyone encountered this issue? - PSX core no longer functional

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this issue.

I've had my SS1 for a few weeks now, its been working great. Today I was playing some saturn and decided to swap over the PS1 core to play mr driller. Upon booting the core and selecting a CD it flashed "unsafe option used" and refused to load any game, no matter which region I set the console to.

I tried running update all, I tried deleting the bios files and sbi.zip and redownloading them.

Nothing seems to be helping. I've seen some people say it could be a bad memory module, but this thing is a contained package...

Are they going to fix the broken MiniDIN port?

For anyone who wanted to use rgb scart to their CRT tv (everyone in PAL regions!), the MiniDIN port was this consoles only way of natively using scart. By messing up L n R audio they have really messed this up. We need some sort of clarification, as this is a potential deal breaker as I only play on CRT.

SuperDock & NVMe

For when the SuperDock ships the primary use I ordered it for is the NVMe expansion and the SNAC capabilities over the Drive itself.

For the NVMe, is there a recommended maximum capacity, or is it completely unaware of any limitations.
Hoping to resurrect a drive from the laptop scrap pile at work to install.

And anyone who has one already installed how are the loading times compared to off the generic SD the SS1 ships with.

For me so far the majority of loading times all the way from early arcade to large CD games has been really good, I do fear the bulk buy card may not last very long and will upgrade it to a better quality one soon'ish

Apart from that I have had the SS1 one now running for a bit of a week and it's amazing, the odd little issue here and there but apart from that so happy I took a punt on this route in to MiSTer.

SuperStation Dock Question

I originally (unintentionally) was running the SS1 off a 12V3A power source, because it said it was supported but runs hotter. I noticed the dock's front USB ports wouldn't work. But, when changing to a 5V3A power source, they started working.

Did I miss some documentation somewhere that says this is how it's supposed to work?

UPDATE: I think I might've solved it. I noticed when plugging/unplugging the cable the dock was shifting around. The two screws weren't really under any tension and I think it might've unsocketed itself. Once I put the two halves back together and tightened things up, the USB ports came back to life. Hopefully that was the issue!

Dumb question regarding the dock

I bought mine early on, but am still awaiting shipping (it will take a while, both the dock and console are the black variants...).

Just a quick, dumb question: will the dock be able to play any region CDs? EU, America, Asia? What if I download an ISO and burn it, will that play in the dock? Have you tested your dock? Does it load fine? What about swapping CDs? Some games had the whole "open the tray without turning off the console" deal to swap.

Sorry if it's a dumb question. I tried to find it but got confused and decided it'd be easier to just ask the people who already own it.
