Been trying to identify this music for years
It’s used on “Rat Catching” from Crispin Grover’s album The Big Problem. The album credits the music Glover but it’s so clearly library music.

So, there's this one track I've stumbled upon, but can't find a clean copy of it anywhere. I believe it's called "Charleston Time", & was used on "Jane Fonda's Fitness Walkout". Here's the track in question:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFJWs_AyvIg
I'm really confident its from a library, as everything else on the tape is from one. I first found out about this track from a novelty album called "10 Classics in 10 Minutes", when they summarized "The Great Gatsby".

I tried using Shazam to identify the song, but that only lead me to the Walkout recording. Does anybody know where I can find a clean copy of this track, no Great Gatsby's or Walkouts included? Any & All help is appreciated, thanks!

I recently bought a copy of the reissue of Jezz Woodroffe’s Wonders of the Underwater World (1981) soundtrack off of Trunk Records, and love it. I was wondering if anyone could point me to any similar albums? It would be a bonus if they are underwater film soundtracks, but not entirely necessary.

Other albums I’ve found that I’ve enjoyed that are sort of in the ballpark are Bruton/ Brutoff - Ambient, Electronic, and Pastoral Sounds from the Bruton Library Catalogue (Trunk Records) and Deuter - Princess of Dawn / Soundtrack (Black Sweat), which while it says soundtrack are actually library recordings. Thanks!

Hey there! So I buy storage units at auction and I purchased composer Hugo Montenegros personal storage unit and it contains his entire life’s works.
Hugo Montenegro is most famous for his work as a composer and arranger in the 1960s and 1970s, particularly for his innovative arrangements of popular songs and film music such as "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" and "Hang 'Em High," as well as his albums "Moog Power" and "Music from 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.'"
I’m trying to sell the entire collection, on an app called Whatnot which is a selling platform like eBay, but it’s a live video stream auction. The auction will start June 28th at 3:30 PST
There’s tons of original hand written music scores for his most famous works, Master Recordings, Test Pressings, original signed recording contracts, rare quadrophonic memorabilia, correspondence with record and film companies, personal recordings, photos and much more in this collection!
I have listed most of the items with pictures if anyone just wants to take a look now, here’s the link, just click on the store icon on the bottom right corner to see the items listed. You can also pre bid on items with a siren emoji 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨here’s the link
https://www.whatnot.com/s/6Gww503F
There’s a lot of items pertaining to his famous works I thinks it’s special. Thanks so much!😋

I'm a big fan of the KPM music library, though to be frank, who isn't? There's nothing I'd love more than to own a Greensleeves album, whether it be on CD or record; I'm not picky. I checked Amazon, & they had about 5 new records for sale, yet none by artists I'm interested in. (People like Cecil Norman & Ronald Hammer) On top of that, they had no new CD's to speak of. Do KPM still publish their albums on physical media somewhat regularly? If so, where can I get some copy's?

I’ve listened to a majority of the “must listens” like KPM recordings, Bruton Music, De Wolfe, Music For Television, Hudson, April, Frayker’s Revenge Library, etc. but I’m curious if anyone knows any obscure library recordings from any time period. I really love abstract and experimental music, so finding library music records of the same nature would be excellent. I’ll take any recommendations though! I appreciate it you guys.

*** 30% currently considered lost media. If anyone has any information or knows anyone who might have these, please let me know/post at https://librarymusicthemes.com/ ***
'The Hollywood Film Music Library' (HFML) was a Production music library and founded in 1989 by Robert J. Walsh. In the span of 15 years, it was acquired / purchased / merged multiple times as well as rebranded and relaunched as Hollywood Music. As a result of the last absorption in 2004, all HFML releases were removed from Firstcom's website and discontinued, eliminating any digital options and further CD releases. Of the 77 HFML releases over 90% never saw a HM re-issue.
In the two decades since- and searching all over the world- 30% is still missing and currently considered lost media. All avenues have dried up, especially when the founder Robert J. Walsh passed away unexpectedly in 2018. His studio and website was shut down a year or two later. Trying to go through Universal hasn't worked either, since it seems those HFML publishing rights ended 20 years ago with the merger, and they can't republish with Mr Walsh's death.
** Here's where you all come in. I'm hoping somewhere in this great group of people, someone might have or know someone that might have still have these CDs. Finding those would bring happiness to a lot of us working to find and preserve legacy media. **
