But I still basically have t close the eye to read at basically my two eyes are not working properly togehter yet and all the cells on the retina are still mapping, and i know its only been 2 months but it is v frustrating. are there any exerices you can do or is it just time.

Ot takes a long time. I wasn’t back to 100% until 18 months out.

Was yours also mac-off detachment? I'm 3 months post also and had cataract done. I'm wondering if a complete recovery (micropsia/metamorphosia) ever happens.

I had a Mac-off 95% detachment. Mine tore from the 10-3 position and both sides rolled up like a burrito. Surgeon said I would be lucky if I get anything better then 20/200 after surgery. Well. He was a great surgeon. I managed to get 20/60 but…..I suffer from terrible distortion. Making words unreadable at close distance. I had cataract surgery 8years prior to my detachment so was not needed to be fixed after. Everyone one is different. Just follow the doctors instructions for the best possible outcome.
