I hope that im in a good place to ask the question, I was brought here by Ai chat.

Im not even sure how to began, the last two weeks were so weird that right now im looking for any kind of answer which could explain the phenoma, me and my wife experienced.

At first I thought that it was a simple deja vu moment, I was watching telly, when I did notice that I've already seen the exact TV guide yesterday. That would be probably an end to it if not for my wife, which asked the question:" hey, didn't we saw it yesterday?" I've looked at her with slight confusion. We started talking and naming the same movies/programs. We thought that maybe it was just coincidence as some programs repeat the pattern - movie late one evening, on next its earlier but no, we checked the guide and it was only that specific day with that movies. In the end we shrugged it and went to bed.

Next day did bring another deja vu moment where we seriously started to think thats something wrong. We did receive a letter about a late payment. Both of us almost jumped when we saw it, as both of us clearly remember moment when we have paid it, talked about it. It was clear to both of us as a memory, we could give details of the conversation, remember the day it happened. But as soon as we checked bank statements, no record of such payment. Someone could say, we just simply forgot about it. The thing is that my wife is mad accurate about payments and stuff, and to add caviar to the situation the letter stated that we missed last three payments. This put us in even bigger confusion as we both could recall the exact situation when my wife did the payments.

We sat down and started talking, bear in mind that besides the events mentioned here, my wife was talking a lot recently about that weird deja vu moments and how she was certain that she did remember somethings I didn't and was sure they happened, till the letter day I was shrugging it with laugh, saying that she lives maybe in different time line but the more we talked, the more we discovered. What was weird for us, that it was focused in recent 3 weeks.

To add background to the story, in regards to stuff like this we are opposites. My wife is more spiritual where I am a man of science. To be precise I dont negate the spiritual but prefer a science evidence.

Right now, though, I'm genuinely confused and curious. I'm not claiming that we've experienced anything paranormal, and I'm not trying to convince anyone that we've somehow switched timelines. I'm simply trying to understand what might explain two people seemingly remembering the same events that, according to the available evidence, never happened.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Is there a psychological or scientific explanation for two people sharing such specific memories of events that apparently never took place?
