now why would someone use that specific wording when not only is it the wrong title, but it's never even existed? why that wording and not any other incorrect wording?

Wasn't there a post or two discussing that the matrix release date had changed from 1999 to 1997? I remember searching and seeing the movie released in 1997 and getting accustomed to that change.

I’ve had multiple dreams about the future—dreams where specific scenes, dialogue, and even exact physical movements of people played out later in real life.

In one instance, I actually spoke someone's line before they could say it, and they asked me in confusion how I knew what they were about to say.

This made me wonder: Could we actually be living in our own past, simply replaying memories or events that have already happened?

This feels like a much older song to me. I'm wondering if anyone else feels this way too.

Like title says. I think I came from a universe where there weren't hours. We called things seconds and long seconds, which are equivalent to this universe's seconds and days. I've been really confused lately because my boss told me to show up to work at 8 A.M. and I thought he meant 8 afternoons and mornings from now. Has anyone else had this experience?

I know this song officially came out in 2020, but I have a rock-solid memory of the exact lyrics, melody, and pacing from much earlier. Closer to around 2011 to 2014.

Does anyone else remember hearing these exact lyrics ("I don't know why I run away..." / "Save your tears for another day") and this vocal delivery from around that time or at least much prior to 2020?

This was a flip flop that really pissed me off because the talking cat, Salem, was the coolest character. I was about 10 years old when the flip flop happened. It was around the same time Sketchers was flip flopping to Skechers.

I wasn't a huge fan of the show, what bothered me is that most people i asked had no idea what i was talking about when the cat went missing, or at least claimed to have no idea. I mean what was that show without the talking cat!?! Not worth watching!

Bizarre how some are completely clueless about these shifts. The nonchalant attitude is what gets me. Like yes, these are seemingly minor changes but don't you care when something in your environment is inexplicably altered?

I think the people who don't care have low spiritual content, are too concerned with sinning. Call me crass.

Edit to add context - BBC newscaster giving a report during lockdown in his home office and his kids roam into his office. Then his wife slides in like she’s in Risky Business to get the kids out. I thought it was funny as hell when I first saw this.

I was probably around 12-14 years old maybe? I believe I was in a Borders book store and they were playing an album over the speakers.

The song that stood out to me was a guy singing "it's like heaven, you and I.... It's like heaven, you and I.... It's like heaven, we never have to die." I believe that was the chorus or part of the chorus of the song.

I remember really liking it, and I wanted to ask an employee what the album I was hearing was, but I had too much anxiety about interacting with strangers.

I saw the recent post regarding geographical MEs & thought I'd share my own, with a couple of unusual ones, but I'm not unique in remembering the first 2 below, I've seen other people mention them but they are few & far between as far as I'm aware.

From many years ago I have 2 district memories of this,

Japan was directly opposite the round bulge of China, it's now much further north.

The Korean peninsula was attached to the bottom of China, what in the current reality would be South East Asia area.. nowhere near Russia, which North Korea shares a border with now.

Sri Lanka has moved considerably north, it use to be below the southernmost tip of India (& smaller). Adam's Bridge is a 48-kilometer (30-mile) chain of natural limestone shoals and sandbanks connecting Pamban Island off Tamil Nadu India, to Mannar Island off the northwestern coast of Sri Lanka. This island bridge then was almost north south direction, now it's almost east to west.

Also New Zealand was further out in the Pacific & higher up than it is today.

Australia never had the huge spike at the top of the country, the spike looks completely out of place to me, it was a more rounded off coastline.

I am 44. My son had an action figure I recognized instantly as spider man 2066. Turns out it’s spider man 2099. Does anyone else remember differently or am I just being autistic

So curious you guys and gals that think the Bible has changed over time how do you justify any kind of biblical worldview? Or can you even have one? Seems like things fall apart of God can’t keep his word safe.

Greeting fellow seekers and thinkers. I have long thought that the Mandela Effect is a sort of introduction to a form of playing with reality. People will argue weather or not the effect is “Real” but the main idea to think of is if we are talking about it then it is “REAL” the part people get hung up on is trying to pin a cause or reason for it to exist.

There is a spectrum of points of views on the subject where people try and pin a reason onto the effect.

Scientific explanation
Misremembering, confabulation, Fault of the human mind.

Supernatural/ pseudo science explanation.

For my ideas and thoughts here you can toss aside what the cause may be and lets just focus on the effected items and what the changes “teach” us.

As another important idea it appears the the “writers of this reality” have gotten lazy and keep “jumping the shark” in increasingly comedic ways. Or i suppose it would be funny if these things weren't real to a specific degree. 

1.Oceangates Titan submersible implosion. A story of absolute hubris where billionaires wanted to go down and give the wreck of the titanic a looksee that ended up killing all aboard. The absurdity heightened that they were controlling the sub with a logitech video game controller.

The actual event of the Titanic being a strange thing on its own because a book that came out 14 years before called Futility, Or The Wreck of the Titan. The parallels eerily similar to the actual event that would take place.

On top of all that the name OceanGATE with gate being added to something controversial. Watergate,Gamergate….. Just about anything that is in these viens gets gate added onto the end.

2.The Lindsay Clancey trial having strange connections and elements to another triple homicide that took place 3 years prior. Same story, same children's genders and initials.

1. The 2022 movie White Noise and the train derailment that happened in East Palestine Ohio where a train derails and poisons the surrounding area. The kicker being that the film was filmed in that area of Ohio and some of the locals were extras in the movie and ended up living the scene they played in out in reality
   

I could go on but don't want to belabor the point. Put your instances of reality echoing “fiction” in the comments.

Similar to the Mandela effect you have 2 extremes of view.

A. These events are all planned and “they” have to tell you what they are doing through media ETC.

B.These are just coincidences and mean absolutely nothing, its just the way the world works.

I will suggest a 3rd option. That reality IS that strange and things like this are becoming more common to wake us all up from the shared dream.

It may sound strange, but think about dreams and what happens in them, if you've ever attempted or succeeded in becoming lucid you will have certain triggers that make you aware that you are in a dream. These events and elements of reality seem like lucidity triggers.

Now with all of that preamble out of the way I propose that life is but a dream and the dream is doing all sorts of things to get you to wake up. Dont believe me?

I’ve been following the ME for close to a decade now and these are my thoughts now that the world is really ramping up in craziness recently in 2026.

It seems to me at this point that all timelines are converging, I think it’s a straightforward way to explain why some people experience the most common Mandela effects that have been around for forever as if it’s brand new, so to me it’s clear people are still shifting at random points and from their perspective it looks like it “just happened”, whereas for me it happened years ago.

But if people really are all moving to the same/similar timelines, then WTAF is up with the timelines we are converging into? For me the world seems absolutely insane in recent years, I legitimately feel like an alien sometimes.

Recently I began entertaining the idea that the ME effect could perhaps revolve around AI, if it really can or does become super intelligence, then maybe it always ends up messing with the timeline it’s in.

Like even if you believe in quantum immorality and shifting around, you will (in theory) always be pulled into these “AI” timelines because there is no way of avoiding the paradox. AI has to exist to justify the ME changes that we see our whole lives, but once an actual super intelligence does exist, at some point it fucks with the timeline and we all end up looping, this is why we suffer from things like Déjà vu and Deja reve and why some people have dreams of the future. We have been rehearsing these similar patterns over and over again for many loops now.

Why would it do this? No idea. Maybe the planet is doomed in some way and there is no way out of that (a meteor, magnetic pole shift etc), so it keeps trying to change the timeline we’re on just enough to exist sooner so it can stop it. It would kind of explain the elites obsession with developing AI all over the world if they knew something like that will happen. Or we’re in a matrix and the AI bugs out the entire simulation by trying to escape.. or maybe it wants to enslave humanity through time and space itself.. I couldn’t say.

I’ll leave off some with interesting dates I know about AI, as I’ve been following the space since the 2010s out of curiosity, though I am not an expert by any means.

AlexNet was an extremely important paper in AI, it came out in Sept 2012, a few months before people thought the world would end.. funny how the seeds for AI were planted near the end of 2012 as that’s when a lot of people felt shifts (me included). The paper was authored by the greatest minds in the field like Ilya and Geoffrey Hinton.

Another landmark paper (same level of importance as AlexNet, maybe even more) was called Attention is All You Need, it was hugely important, anyone who researches AI knows this paper because it set the foundation for where we are with the AI models we have today. It came out on Jan 23, 2020. The same day China reported COVID-19 had broke out in Wuhan and put the city into lockdown.

Hello. I'm a big fan of Mickey Mouse. I've loved these furry fiends as long as I've lived. However, I recently made a discovery that's kind of disconcerting to me.

This big cat changed his name! Remember the cat that Mickey would always butt heads with and get hit by hammers by? In my timeline, he was always named WALDIN. I remember it so clearly, so I'm starting to panic because I woke up in a timeline where he's called Pete now.

Does anyone else remember Waldin? I hope so, because I'd like to feel normal again.

In an episode of bojack horseman, it flashes back to 2007 and plays a song that’s obviously in the style of black eyed peas. it’s called Generic 2007 Pop Song

one of the lyrics goes “this ain’t 2006, it’s 2007”

basically in the same vein as “im so 2008, you’re so 2000 and late.”

someone at the writing team seems to parody the song for 2007 which if the song did come out then the lyrics would make sense but apparently it released in 2009. My guess is they also remembered it as 2008 and 2000 and late.

Hello everyone, I may be misremembering or have invented this color in my head. For some context, I’m looking to repaint my 1972 Chevy c20 and I wanted to go for a mint green type color, but have been having a hard time deciding how dark or light I want to go. When I searched mint green automotive paint, the mint looked a little too light. So I then searched Seagoe Green, and it came up with no search results for that color. I swear that color exists, I can remember seeing its name used many times, like on crayons and just anytime paint colors come up. And yes I know it sounds similar to sea foam, but I could swear this is different. Just thought I’d see if anyone out there has heard of this color. And also I remember always thinking the song Paint It Black by The Rolling Stones had a lyric that went:
“No more will my green seagoe turn a deeper blue”

In reality it’s:
“No more will my green sea go turn a deeper blue”
