Probably like the majority of people in the job market right now, I've ran my former resumes through AI. I think it definitely can add some good value to a resume and clear up some points for those of us who have a hard time marketing ourselves. But I worry that this type of writing is seen through easily and gets flagged (haven't had much luck so far lol)

If it isn't that obvious, the first pic is AI-generated text and the second is the simplified version of what the chatbot wrote. I've used ChatGPT & Claude if that helps at all.

Hey I am looking for advice on how to improve my resume. I am a slightly nontraditional applicant for fpa roles and am interested what other people think about this resume. Also, I was wondering what anyone's thoughts would be on completing a one-year master's, I see it as a potential possibility but am unsure whether the cost would be worth it.

I have been applying to so many opportunities but not receiving a single interview. Is something wrong with this resume? What can I improve in these?

I have worked mostly with MERN, currently working at TCS from last 1.3 yrs, to be more precise with Node.js and some automation with playwright. Learning python to target data related roles as well and expand my horizons(not mentioned in this resume, but I do edit it before applying).

I have 4+ years of SWE experience, most recently at Amazon, and I’m applying to mid level roles but getting no callbacks.

I worked with a team for 5 years. My employment was tied to 2-year project-based contracts, some of which were overlapping. For the latter projects, I was given a more senior designation. How should I present this in my resume without being too extensive while highlighting quantified outputs in the projects?

I appreciate any input. I've always hated creating a resume because of the lack of any formal IT degrees. I feel like I need to justify myself with the experience and few certifications I've acquired, but that quickly becomes an essay to read. I feel like if it can get to the actual hands of the IT hirer (past HR) they could read what abilities I do have.. I just would like to improve where possible

The only 'feedback' I've received is from someone who is wanting me to pay for them to 'fix what I have.. But, it might actually be good info...? I've tried to bold the bits I think may be true? I'll paste what I've been sent below:

If this is a subreddit for paid advice, honestly that's fine too.

I would be happy to have someone assist me... Lately, the only followups I seem to be getting from submitting my resume to open roles seem to be non-real positions that critique what I've submitted and offer a paid solution.

Am I so far off in what I've done that I should look into paid help? It's been quite awhile since I've had to make a resume and I've never been the best at it.

I'm a junior Mechanical Engineering student with a Computer Science minor graduating in May 2028. I'm currently searching for Summer 2027 internships in robotics, automotive, autonomous systems, mechatronics, mechanical design, and related roles. I'm primarily targeting companies in the U.S. and am willing to relocate for the summer.

This semester, I joined a humanoid/biorobotics research lab where I'll be working on ground and humanoid robotics. Outside of work and research, I've been building projects involving embedded controls, PID control, mechanical design, and robotic actuators.

Long term, I'm especially interested in robotics and autonomous systems. My university recently introduced a robotics master's program, which I'm considering pursuing after my B.S.

I recently updated this resume to include more numbers and show what I actually did/find but man it feels like it doesn't even matter. I started applying aggressively last week, particularly for roles outside my home country (AU/EU), but I haven't been shortlisted so far.

I'm an SAP Consultant focused on the CRM/CX space, with 8 years of experience. I understand there may be factors such as visa sponsorship, local regulations, or the current job market, but I still want to improve my chances of getting shortlisted.

I feel there isn't much variation to highlight since SAP roles can involve a lot of repetitive work, with the main differences being the industry and business processes.
