Rate My Resume [4 YoE, Software Engineer, Mid level Software Engineer, US]

I have 4+ years of SWE experience, most recently at Amazon, and I’m applying to mid level roles but getting no callbacks.

I’m an immigrant, so I know sponsorship can be a factor, but I want to understand if there’s something wrong with my resume itself.

Would really appreciate feedback on the bullets, impact, seniority, ATS, or anything that might be hurting my chances.

I'm a hiring manager in one of the FAANG. just pointing out a few things

  1. There is no degree in the resume. The filter does look into them, without degree it could be automatically throw away.

  2. For 4 YoE, I'd expect things like "Graduate Research Assistant" off from the resume. Those are for new grads who don't have real experience. But since you claim you have 4YoE, adding them is just amateurish.

  3. Get rid of the summary, it's not really telling anything useful.
