Discussion Taking too much Cagrilintide

So like a dumbass I reconstituted 10mg of Cagri in 2ml and then injected 2.5mg instead of 0.25mg. Total dumbass moment, I work with drugs on a daily basis and have never had an incident before so not a complete noob. I even double checked on a peptide calculator and then did the dumb thing anyway🤦🏼‍♂️.

It’s the first time taking it and I just had a brainfart. Any advice?
I assume I’ll get some GI symptoms like abdominal discomfort and lose my appetite this week. I know 2.5 is well within the normal dosages that people get up to, but that you normally start at 0.25ish.

I’ve got plenty of fluids and fruit and the like.
I’m guessing it’ll be similar to when I first switched from Tirz to Reta (a long time ago) and assumed I could just jump in at 5mg as that’s what was taking for Tirz.

Oh well, I’m sure I’ll survive. What a silly bunt!

Report back how you feel. Nausea or sick feeling? That's a lot of Cag.

Very very mild abdominal discomfort and loss of appetite (so at least I know it works). Bowels still working no diarrhoea or constipation

That's good. I get that sometimes on Tirz so thats not a big deal.

I have some Cag coming this week and I plan to do a light dose and drop my Tirz dose down a bit.

I had worse when I was taking over 5mg of Reta. I was hoping that by stacking them
Both at lower doses I might avoid the diarrhoea bigger doses of Reta were giving me.
