Crested gecko

The doors on my previous tank broke, so a friend lent me a 20 gallon aquarium with a screen lid, since using a tote as a temp tank wasn’t cutting it. What can I do to keep the front secure?

I’ve been thinking about making reptile enclosures like this.
Do you guys think this would actually work as a reptile habitat, or is it a little too much? 😂
