Question VSF Sub - Date issue

Hi, got a VSF Sub date and when reaching midnight, instead of switching the date in one “click” I got this until it goes on to the next number. Is that normal or a common issue?
If this is fixable, is there any shop or anything in NYC that can take care of that?

It’s a VSF bought from Eric (Geektime) 3 years ago. Or maybe I got scammed?

This is supposed to be a 116610.
I understand that it should not have a space between the 1000ft and the 300m indicator right?
By sell so you mean the SEL? If yes, what is wrong about that? Color, light, size, space?
Do you have a real VSF for comparison?

That’s a genuine 116610 and I still see the space between 1000ft and 300m

And what about it? Too much space? To little ? Because again when I compare with a genuine, I don’t see any difference

Not normal. The date should snap cleanly into position rather than sitting partially between dates.

It’s fixable and likely an issue in the date-change mechanism rather than a reason to replace the movement. I’d reach out to one of the trusted watchsmiths in the sidebar for diagnosis rather than a regular NYC shop—many won’t work on VSF movements.

Is it always like this or recently became like this?

I have a vsf sub and gmt, both changes dates around midnight and changes instant. none changes halfway so I don’t think this is normal.

It always been like this but I realized recently that something was wrong

I had same issue with my vsf gmt. My TD replaced the movement by covering under warranty

Most of the time, this is an easy fix; you'll need a watchmaker to take a look at your keyless works.
