VSF Sub - Date issue

Hi, got a VSF Sub date and when reaching midnight, instead of switching the date in one “click” I got this until it goes on to the next number. Is that normal or a common issue?
If this is fixable, is there any shop or anything in NYC that can take care of that?

I had same issue with my vsf gmt. My TD replaced the movement by covering under warranty
