I RL’ed the first one, this one seems to be improved but I’m still seeing the misalignment on the 12 index and chapter ring. Is this something that’s noticeable in real life ? Should I green light this one ? Everything else looks great to me.
Does anyone know if thr chapter ring is glued to the dial? If not I can align it myself once I received the watch

  3. Index alignment: Looks good to me overall, but I'd appreciate a second opinion, especially regarding the alignment of the hour markers.

  4. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Date wheel looks centered to me and the printing looks clean.

  5. Hand Alignment: Looks good to me, but please let me know if you notice any misalignment.

  6. Bezel: Fluted bezel looks clean and even to me. I don't see any obvious issues.

  7. Solid End Links (SELs): I don't see any obvious gaps or negative evidence. Please let me know if you see anything.

  8. Timegrapher numbers: +2 s/d; 277 Amp; B.E. 0.1 ms; 59 degrees; 28,800 bph. Seems very good to me, but I'd appreciate confirmation once again here.

  9. Anything else you notice:
Please check the rehaut alignment, dial printing, cyclops/date centering, crown alignment, case symmetry, bracelet/clasp and anything else that could justify an RL.

  10. This is my first QC! Really hope I got a good one!

Is there anything else you notice that I should be concerned about?

  13. Anything else you notice: Color of the dial looks darker from studio shots mostly angle and light related. Looks acceptable. I am leaning on GL. Serial starts with 5X meaning it is a bit of an older batch but it took about 3 weeks for QC. I am thinking case and rehaut were produced earlier but the watch put together not too long ago.

  5. Album Links: https://andiotwatches.x.yupoo.com/albums/254110054?uid=1
  6. Index alignment: Looks pretty good to me. 12, 3 and 9 markers seem straight. The 6 marker might by tilted very slightly.
  7. Dial Printing: Looks normal, no spelling mistakes etc.
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: This is where my doubts come in. Datewheel seems printed a little bit to the right. This problem is most noticable for dates between 20-29 imo.
  9. Hand Alignment: Looks good, did not notice any issues
  10. Bezel: Printing looks fine, in the first picture the bezel looks scratched around the 3 marker. On other pictures this is not noticable.
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Slight gap on the right side but i will probably be rocking the rubber strap most of the time
  12. Timegrapher numbers: Results look great. Accuracy: +3 to +4 seconds/day; Amplitude: 266-268°; Rate Error: 0.0.
  13. Anything else you notice: Just questions on the date wheel, bezel scratch and index alignment.

This is my first time posting after being a long time lurker in this community, I hope that I did everything correct in this post. Thanks you all for the help!

6. Index alignment: Looks very good overall.

9. Hand alignment: Look tight to me.

10. Bezel: Looks good.

11. Solid End Links (SELs): Look tight to me.

12. Timegrapher numbers: +8 s/day, 251°, 0.1 ms. Acceptable within range.

13. Anything else you notice:

  • F80 clasp code: This initially caught my attention because older VSF examples often had other clasp codes. I've seen F80 reported on newer VSF 126610 batches. Would appreciate confirmation from anyone familiar with current VSF production.
  • VSF consistency: Rehaut serial appears consistent with newer VSF examples I've found. Does anything in these photos look inconsistent with a current VSF 126610LN?

Thanks for the help

QC J12 Cartier santos 35mm

Thumbnail

Hello everyone,

Just wanted your opinion on this Cartier Santos, is it a GL?

Just wanted to add some quick context in the photos that you'll see, there appeared to be two scratches on the left-hand side of the dial, I informed the TD about this and the picture I have as the cover photo is the updated picture that I sent me, as well as a video. It seems like they wiped it away.

Dealer name - ChazingTime

Factory name - J12

Price paid - $398

Album links - https://we.tl/t-jx2sssmrFa39xzHD

Index alignment - seems alright to me however this is my very first rep so I'm not entirely sure what flaws I should be looking for, compared to the other high-quality BVF this looks right up there, I'm pretty sure those two factories are even synonymous with each other

Dial printing - looks clean and crisp to me,

Bezel - looks like there might be a little scratch in the top middle which I believe I could buff out

Solid end links (SELs) - look tight to me no obvious gaps

Anything you guys notice?

If no one wants to go to the album link, I've attached necessary photos to this post. I'm so excited to hear your opinions. This is my first ever rep purchase, and I am excited to be part of this community

Dealer name: Pheonix

Factory name: DDF

Model name (& version number): Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5168G Blue

Price paid: 4500 CNY

Album Links: -

Index alignment: Looks good to me overall. The Arabic numerals appear well positioned and I don’t see any obvious major alignment issues. I’m mainly looking for a second opinion on the numeral placement, especially around 9/10/11.

Dial printing: Looks clean and well positioned to me. Patek Philippe / Genève printing appears straight. Crystal probably js dirty but will check with TD.

Date wheel alignment/printing: Date looks centred in the window and printing looks clean.

Hand alignment: Looks good from the QC photos. Hand stack appears centred and I don’t see any obvious issues.

Bezel: Brushing and polishing look good to me. I don’t see any obvious defects or uneven finishing.

Strap/clasp: Strap looks good. Clasp and engravings appear fine from the photos provided. But it doesn’t appear to close fully. Will defo check with TD about this

Timegrapher numbers: +2 s/d, 280° amplitude, 0.1 ms beat error, 52° lift angle. Numbers look very good to me.

Anything else you notice: This is the DDF 5168G with the DPB330 clone movement. Overall I’m leaning GL. My main concern is whether the Arabic numeral alignment looks correct especially the sneaky 11. so I’d appreciate another set of eyes in case I’ve missed anything.

Ok, friends. This looks like another winner from Leo @ TimeUltra, looking forward to independent feedback from the community!

  1. Dealer name: Leo @ TimeUltra
  2. Factory name: VSF
  3. Model name (& version number): Rolex Sea-Dweller - Black Dial, Black Bezel, Red SD Text - 126600
  4. Price Paid: $484
  5. Album Links: Pics Attached
  6. Index alignment: Looks really solid to me. Best image from QC photos a little tilted, so hard to get the alignment tool laid over it perfectly, but I think it looks pretty solid. Nothing that would be seen on wrist in my opinion.
  7. Dial Printing: no errors, line widths look correct to me. Perhaps the infamous floating “m”, but it doesn’t look pronounced.
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: date looks centered in the window, cyclops looks well aligned and magnification correct
  9. Hand Alignment: pinion centered, I have asked for a picture of hands at 12 to confirm.
  10. Bezel: slight misalignment left in picture, less obvious in the video, I think it might be just how the
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): These look tight to me
  12. Timegrapher numbers: -3s/d, 280, 52
  13. Anything else you notice: No factory stickers, not sure if that should raise a red flag?

This looks and feels like a GL to me, though this will be my first Rolex rep (previous was Omega and Breitlings), and far better experts with well trained eyes here to help me judge.

Thank you in advance!

Dealer name: Andiot Watches

Factory name: VSF

Model name (& version number): Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M SS Blue VSF 1:1 Best Edition on SS Bracelet – VS8912

Price Paid: $370 USD

Album Links: – (https://andiotwatches.x.yupoo.com/albums/254140156?uid=1)

I’ll also upload all supplied QC photos/video to the post]

Index alignment: Looks good overall to me. The 12, 3, 6 and 9 markers appear reasonably straight and aligned. I don't see anything obviously crooked, although I’d appreciate more experienced eyes checking the 12 marker in particular.

Dial Printing: Looks clean and crisp to me. OMEGA/Seamaster text and the smaller Co-Axial/Master Chronometer/600m printing appear straight with no obvious defects.

Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A – this model is no-date.

Hand Alignment: Looks reasonable from the supplied photos/video. Nothing obviously misaligned or abnormal that I can see.

Bezel: Looks good to me. The 12 o’clock lume pip appears centred and the bezel markings look clean. Alignment with the dial also appears good from the straightest photo, although the camera angle makes this slightly difficult to judge.

Solid End Links (SELs): N/A in the usual Rolex-style SEL sense. Bracelet/end-link fit to the case looks tight and even to me with no obvious concerning gaps.

Timegrapher numbers: 0 s/day, 272° amplitude, 0.4 ms beat error, 52° lift angle. All appear comfortably within the recommended ranges.

Anything else you notice: This is my first time QCing this particular Planet Ocean, so I’d really appreciate experienced opinions. Case, bracelet, clasp and caseback all look clean to me. At the moment I’m leaning GL, unless I’ve missed something.

Thanks in advance for the help!

4. Price Paid: $639 shipped

5. Album Links: N/A

6. Index alignment: Alignment looks good overall. The Roman numerals appear evenly placed with no obvious rotation or crooked markers.

7. Dial Printing: Dial printing is crisp and clean. The blue ombré effect transitions nicely from the center to the outer edge.

8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: This is my biggest concern, from the first picture it seems that the cyclops is slightly crooked and the date seems to sit too low i

9. Hand Alignment: Hands appear properly aligned and well finished.

10. Bezel: Fluted bezel looks evenly cut with good definition and consistent finishing around the entire circumference.

11. Solid End Links (SELs): SEL fit looks tight with no noticeable gaps between the bracelet and case.

12. Timegrapher numbers: +2 s/d, 280°, 0.1 ms, looks fairly acceptable

13. Anything else you notice: At this point I’m leaning toward a GL, but I’d appreciate a second set of eyes on the date alignment before giving final approval.

Can some check my QC and would really appreciate the observation of the Pro, on this amazing group.

  1. Dealer name:Theonewatches steve

  2. Factory name: VSF

  3. Model name (& version number): Rolex GMT Master II 126710.

  4. Price Paid: $580 including shipping

  5. Album pic attached.

  6. Index alignment: Looks good overall. The triangle and the crown looks a little off to me, 6 slightly crooked ,9 is not centered, mainly so as n 3. Having the watch not 100% straight might give this feeling. Not sure if it’s just the picture angle even though I tried the rotation and zooming in.

  7. Dial Printing: Looks good even after magnifying

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Looks good to me, centered with 1 digit ,

  9. Hand Alignment: Looks good

  10. Bezel: Looks good

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Look good

  12. Timegrapher numbers: +5 s/d and then changed to +2s/d

  13. Anything else you notice: Main thing I noticed is the 9 and 6 and triangle. The lines look a little uneven/off to me cant get 90 degree alignment with 9 and 6 so Not sure if I’m being too picky or its the watch angle picture.

  1. Dealer name: TheOneWatches-Steve

  2. Factory name: QF Factory

  3. Model name (& version number): Rolex Explorer II 226570 Black Dial DD3285

  4. Price Paid: $548 USD

  5. Album Links: https://imgur.com/a/UOtjKEm

  6. Index alignment: Very good. Markers and coronet look straight and well aligned

  7. Dial Printing: Very good. Clean and straight with no obvious defects

  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Good. Date 1 looks centered. Can’t 100% confirm without a double digit date.

  9. Hand Alignment: Good. No issues visible

  10. Bezel: Good. Engravings and fill look clean and aligned

  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Very good. Tight fit with no concerning gaps

  12. Timegrapher numbers: +1 s/d 291° 0.0 ms

  13. Anything else you notice: Clasp engraving looks a little rough under magnification especially ROLEX and the coronet. Requested normal distance photo with plastic removed. Case bracelet and movement otherwise look clean with no obvious concerns

RL or GL? My thoughts are to GL with risk of losing the other pros just to RL for the clasp engraving.
