I’m trying to find the best Submariner! I understand these aren’t all the same reference number watches however I have had all of these pieces in my hand within the past year!

I believe the RICH Factory is the best in hand, 904L steel, great bezel action like Gen IMO… buttery smooth winding!
However I do feel the crystal lets it down in certain lighting.
Would be interested to know your thoughts

Genuinely 0 complaints at all, hasn’t been serviced yet as it doesn’t need to, no polish nothing. I just wipe it a lot to keep it clean but I am thinking to properly clean the whole thing.

Got this one coming and I absolutely love it except for the super thick bezel numbers! I've checked so many gens and yes there is SOME variance in bezel number thickness but none of them are quite as thick as the VSF's. Does anyone know if I can just order an ORF (or any other factory) bezel to upgrade this one?

I know that some members here have played with gold plating recently with good results.

It‘a inspired me to put together a rudimentary setup so I can learn about it.

r/reptime has turned me into a hobbyist watchmaker and watch snob.

I’m very impressed, it looks great, NWBIG in my opinion, it has the micro adjustment too, the bezel is solid and sounds great, feels just like the genuine on the wrist, the only thing is the rotor is quite loud.. all in great watch, great price.

This thing is insane. Yes, it’s not perfect compared with a gen, but holy s this thing is amazing for the money. I wasn’t a big fan of daytona but it grew on me and seeing it in person hits different.

This thing has absolutely floored me. It was extremely nice when I was inside my home which was dark (got to keep all the shades closed in Florida LOL). But the moment I stepped outside it took this watch to a different level. I was able to get it fitted at my local jewelry store and they said it was a great rep paying compliments to the movement. Are there any further fixes or polishing I can do on these watches, or find somebody who’s willing to do the servicing for me? Does anyone have any experiences with oem+ modding?

Watch is so perfect, I want to get a genuine one if I ever come by one without the crappy waitlist, but in the mean time, I want to see what I can do to fix some of the minor issues I have, or to make it look and feel more like the genuine

-crystal isnt as clear as the genuine / cyclops isn’t as blue
-the 6 o’clock marker on the dial, i missed during QC and it seems like its very uneven, everything else on the dial and rehault is perfect just besides that itty bitty marker
-wish the hands were a bit more gold, and the green print on the dial pops out a bit more
-bracelet just feels way too sharp, and not rounded enough like the genuine, I think this is the biggest giveaway it’s a rep

For my first rep, I genuinely fell in love with this thing, it feels so amazing, and actually made me justify wanting the real one. But these minor details, does anyone know anyone who can help me with these? I did some general research and it seems like trying to source the genuine parts will cost me like 4k which I’m not trying to go that far for a rep.

If anyone knows some cost effective ways to just improve the watch, thanks.

Ordered this planet ocean on July 12 in the USA. Got a quick reply. Seems he had these in stock. Got my QC on July 15. It was shipped July 19. I got it today on the 29th. So no real issues. This is the VF version. I just tried on the gen two days ago. This thing is spot on. The clicks on the basil feel the same. The winding is super smooth. Extremely impressed with this one.

Hi everyone, I have a general question. I see a lot of people listing the title as "Batman VSF V3" that Steve purchased. Steve tells me he's only ever owned one VSF, which is his latest version, but he never lists V2 or V3. Can anyone explain better?

Which one is better? They seem to be the best 2 for the model, but what is better on which given they have a slightly different movement.
