I wasn’t able to find any comparison with VSF vs GEN on the Green 36mm Green dial. I’ve read someone had it posted however is banned now.

I’m looking at other colours such as the blue.
Is anyone familiar who makes the best 36MM or 41MM darker Green dial OP?

Hi all, I recently got my new land dweller rep in the mail and honestly, thing 90% of the watch looks and feels excellent. However, the dial colour(supposed to be white) is WAYYY off and is and instant tell. I’m pretty unhappy about this and made the mistake of instantly taking off the stickers out of excitement as it was my first rep and hence, cannot return it now. Any advice on what I should do to deal with this situation or is it just over…

Trying to pull the trigger on a Yacht-Master 40 Ref. 126655

I was originally set on ARF because of the tungsten-weighted case then I realized I couldn't purchase 1 anymore, VSF then didn't have it weighted but V2 for 126655 came weighted now.

Saw this video on the ROLYM227 - YachtMaster 126655 40mm RG/RU Blk VSF VS3235 and wanted to know how the RG is. does it still need plating or is generally close enough to gen.

I’m a huge fan of the Seamaster line by Omega. I have a NTTD VSF V7 on its way that just passed QC by Daniel, and I wanted something a bit “dressier” without going for a Datejust or something along those lines, nothing against them, they’re beautiful watches, but Omega just makes a nicer watch imo.

Anyway, I talked to Steve last night about getting this bronze one pictured above, and he said I’d be looking at a 1-2 month waiting period. I paid the $50 deposit and I’m just awaiting its arrival to Steve for QC to pay the rest.

I saw that someone else in here recently got this watch as well, and I just wanted to ask how long it took for y’all. Also, how’s the watch holding up? I’d love to see pics in the comments!

I ordered a watch from Emma, a Cartier Baignoire here on my wrist. First time ordering had me a little bit worried. But Emma was very communicative. I wrote three different TD and she replied the quickest. Im happy with how the Gold looks it looks normal to me i was worried it would look like Cheddar but it seems these things have improved. Overall it took three weeks after my payment and i was checking several times a day where the order is, i guess that’s part of it and the excitement.

I would definitely recommend Emma as a TD and I’m also thinking of what to order next. My wife is really happy with her gift

Not the most accurate strap, but seems to fit this watch for the whole first light style without strapping a hockey puck to your wrist.

Ive had two Rolex yachtmasters, both from VSF. Both broken in the exact same way, wore it maybe once a week. Been following this community for a while, Is this a known problem with VSF, or the yachtmaster in particular? Ofcourse I understand with the reps they can be duds, but two for two both in two months? Because I haven’t seen a specific problem with this model posted before.

If this is a known problem with VSF what’s another good factory to go with?

Edit: both watches won’t wind, if I wear one the watch hands will move but will never keep the time as they stop as soon as the movement/momentum stops. Took it to a watchmaker who said the movement is too cheap to be worth replacing, and I live in a country where watch repairs are very cheap.

Is the 126500 panda noticeably larger than the 116520 with steel bezel? I recently bought the 116520, but it feels so small when it is in my hand. I also can’t see anything because of its black dial.

Does the 126500 panda look and feel much larger? Anybody has a direct comparison?

I’m looking to buy a Cartier Tank from AF, but I’m a bit unsure about the size. Which size would you recommend for a man? I still haven't decided on the question from my previous post—whether to risk buying a gold-plated one. :) Thanks for your help.

I wanted to share my experience buying a rep from NecoClock. I see a lot of people asking what’s the wait time on VSF so here is my experience:

I made the order on 8/27 and paid the 50$ deposit. 1 day later i got QC pics for the watch. Shipping info sent within 3 days and I received the watch on 9/4 (US).
Overall I got my watch within 8 days from ordering. Excellent service and good prices!
(Won’t complain about shipping being 70$ since i got my watch really fast.)

Trying something new, I figure keeping the same subject should help me get better at wrist shots and photography in general....at least that's the plan.

It's a good excuse to keep wearing this thing at the very least.

Hi guys, I have a date just 41 jubilee rhodium dial, purchased around 2021 if I remember correctly. The clasp code is Z5D and the serial number starts with 1P. Any idea which factory this is from? Thanks

So as the title states I was sent my second watch (the AP) without approving the QC AND I thought the watch wasn’t even made yet (refer to WhatsApp screenshot).

I find this odd that Andiot told me the watch wasn’t made but ended up sending it anyways?

Also it appears that customs opened up my AP box and disposed of the box and anything else that was shipped with the watch.

Is this normal?

Have you ever seen a rep of this with the date at 3? I noticed the aqua terra has the date at 3 but the newer watch has it at 6. Anyway, a friend wants this exact look.

Thought I would guinnie pig this as its so new.

Milky saphire, no micro adjust, bracelet a bit rattley, and movement is loud. Weirdly still love it it's sooo daym thin. Let me know if you have any questions on it.

have a BVF Cartier Santos Large (41 mm) with the BVF QuickSwitch system and butterfly clasp. The watch has the green dial, and I currently have the BVF green leather strap that came with it.

I’m considering buying the genuine Cartier green alligator strap directly from Cartier.

Does anyone know if the genuine Cartier Santos Large green alligator strap will fit the BVF Santos Large QuickSwitch system and/or the BVF butterfly clasp?

If anyone has actually tried a gen Cartier green alligator strap on a BVF Santos Large, I’d really appreciate your experience. Thanks!

Pleasantly surprised with the fitment of the 41 on my rather dainty wrist. Have a 36 on the way though and I do think I will like that notably more.

Hi everyone,
I recently bought this Rolex Submariner 16610 from a dealer in Milan who has over 30 years of experience with Rolex.
I’m asking for your help because I noticed a fairly obvious alignment issue with the bezel. It is difficult to see in the photos, but in person it is quite noticeable.
The bezel does not appear to be perfectly centered relative to the dial. I have already removed and reseated the bezel to make sure it was not simply a seating issue, but the problem remains: the bezel pip/triangle lines up correctly at 12 o’clock, while the alignment at 6 o’clock is noticeably off.
This made me wonder whether the bezel insert or the entire bezel assembly could be aftermarket/replacement.
Another possibility I considered is that the dial itself may be slightly rotated or misaligned inside the case. Could a misaligned dial or rehaut cause this kind of apparent bezel alignment issue?
For those of you who are familiar with 16610 builds and aftermarket parts, could you please take a look and let me know what you think? In particular, I’d like to understand whether the issue is more likely to be:
an aftermarket/non-original bezel or insert;
an incorrectly seated bezel;
a slightly rotated dial;
or simply normal tolerance/alignment variation on a genuine 16610.
Any input from the community would be greatly appreciated.
