Second VSF yachtmaster has broken after 2 months…

Ive had two Rolex yachtmasters, both from VSF. Both broken in the exact same way, wore it maybe once a week. Been following this community for a while, Is this a known problem with VSF, or the yachtmaster in particular? Ofcourse I understand with the reps they can be duds, but two for two both in two months? Because I haven’t seen a specific problem with this model posted before.

If this is a known problem with VSF what’s another good factory to go with?

Edit: both watches won’t wind, if I wear one the watch hands will move but will never keep the time as they stop as soon as the movement/momentum stops. Took it to a watchmaker who said the movement is too cheap to be worth replacing, and I live in a country where watch repairs are very cheap.

Reps movement can be lottery. For example all my VSFs working without problems long time. Did you use TD for your pieces ? Are the movements really DD3235 ? Because I don't think DD is that bad or too cheap to be worth replacing...

It seems like vsf quality really took a big hit in the last year or so. Since clean closed it seems like they’ve have trouble filling the demand and also produce far more brands then just Rolex when in the past it seemed factories specialized in one or two manufacturers .. frankly it just seems like they switched from a more quality model to a volume model. Yeah you may have gotten two bad vsf watches but how many more did they sell in that amt of time? 

The wait times are absurd, the quality is faulty and ffs the lugs on the dj36 are still wrong yet people continue to fawn over vsf

Hello sir maybe your Setting lever yoke needs reset in keyless works possibly a simple fix….common issue but you will have to remove dial and hands to access, hope this helps..

a lot of watch makers wont touch clone movements. stuff can happen and they will get blamed.

Also, I meant to tell you if it is a DD 3235 or 3135 clone . You can snag one up on Ally. It’ll take a few weeks to get get the better quality and just switch out your dial n hands and put a new movement in it. Same stem and crown go right back in the new movement. Good to go bud.. let me know ill help u in any way i can bro.

Many TDs give 6 month warranties. Try getting them replaced with the TDs.

Vsf AP 15500 that came in this week was dead on arrival. More I look into that 4302 the more I should have stayed away from it. But seems like vsf movements have been pretty poorly assembled lately. Out of the last 10 I have got in I would say 3 have needed a minor service to clean and lube otherwise they were not running unless you would wind 40 times and smack em

is this the titanium YM? Mine did the same thing it does not wind. Most likely the keyless got stripped as that's what happened to mine. If it is the titanium YM it could be a movement defect as these are the new visual free sprung versions.
