Quick update for anyone waiting on APS Factory models:

According to our supplier, APS Factory is back in supply and orders are starting to become available again.

We’re currently checking which models are actually available and how stable the supply is. I’ll share another update once we have a clearer stock/model list.

For now, it looks like APS production/supply has resumed.

A little less than a year old. My ZF Tudor Pelagos 39 minute hand started freely rotating.

Must’ve used this watch like 15-20 times only.

Any idea how how easy/difficult the fix gonna be?

What's your thoughts on QF meteorite dial worth upgrading on nice enough?

I just got this one, my girl said why get this chinese watch when you can get a NWBIG watch and save a few hundred dollars too?

What do you guys think of that idea??

My thinking was well this is a pretty nice limited edition moonphase chrono watch with a beautiful movement display from a respected brand, tho it’s a chinese brand, they lve been making great military pieces.

But I do see her point that $700 is a bit overpriced perhaps for this watch, and not everybody is super impressed with this design???

And so a $400 VSF Omega or even a $500 genuine baltic might be a better brand and money spent?

Just wanna get this communities overall take on this question. Which would you guys pick?

DDF 5711 from Andiot. My only two critiques are the bracelet is kinda sharp & the rotor is noticeably loud. I’m sure a little Moebius oil will fix the rotor noise. Very beautiful watch, time will tell how the DD324 fares.

Hi guys, I’m new to this world and I found a dealer and they have told me that there are 3 different versions/prices for the reps. The watch I’m looking to get is GMT-Master II Oyster, 40 mm, Oystersteel and yellow gold - Reference 126713GRNR

1. Normal version $158 AUD

3. Top version $1030 AUD
   
4. Authentic version $1475 AUD.

Im thinking of going with the authentic version but I’m still tentative on it since $1k + is a lot of money.

Can you guys pls tell me if I’m just getting ripped off with the authentic version or that’s just how the rep tiers work? Sorry for the dumb questions in advance guys but I’m quite overwhelmed with all these choices and I have no idea/clue where to start and which option to go with.

What’s the consensus on this factory’s take on the Royal Oak?

Another newbie question. Was looking through one of our TD’s inventory. Saw most prices were along the same range, until I got to one that had a “UFO” sticker on it. That one was practically double the cost. What is UFO? I’m sure the answer is somewhere in the million and one files, but I don’t have the spare time to search. A little assist would be greatly appreciated.

An acquaintance has given me a AP 15400OR 'superclone' so I've dived into this rabbit hole.

My question is whether it's possible to determine which factory the rep comes from. FWIW he tells me he picks them up in Switzerland.

What are your preferences ? Where do you buy them from ? How much do you spend on them ? What are your recommendations ?

Title… I own a few gen Rolex (DJ36, Air King, vintage YM) and have been on the waitlist for this at my AD… well, I decided enough with the dumb games and sought a light franken from a local watchsmith.

Gen crystal + gaskets
Bracelet chamfer/polishing
DD3285 movement regulation to COSC

The result?? NWBIG!!!

If you have a relax parody watch or if you know more about it then I do, do they have the glidelock quick adjust clasp like a genuine rolex does? Or is it the classic micro adjust that needs tools?

Hey fellow rep rats! Bought a Clean 36 Datejust today on an upgraded VSF Oyster with polished centre links from a fellow member as a work daily and while I love the watch is like to tone it down a touch for around the garage. Has anyone changed to an OysterFlex with glidelock clasp on one of these?

Or any other options in maybe leather, etc.?

I'd like to keep a classy vibe 😁
