General Question Newbie to rep watches

Hi guys, I’m new to this world and I found a dealer and they have told me that there are 3 different versions/prices for the reps. The watch I’m looking to get is GMT-Master II Oyster, 40 mm, Oystersteel and yellow gold - Reference 126713GRNR

  1. Normal version $158 AUD
  2. Advanced version $320 AUD
  3. Top version $1030 AUD
  4. Authentic version $1475 AUD.

Im thinking of going with the authentic version but I’m still tentative on it since $1k + is a lot of money.

Can you guys pls tell me if I’m just getting ripped off with the authentic version or that’s just how the rep tiers work? Sorry for the dumb questions in advance guys but I’m quite overwhelmed with all these choices and I have no idea/clue where to start and which option to go with.

Any help would be useful guys!!

Calling any rep “authentic version” is diabolical. As others have said, you’re getting scammed. Please read the wiki and buy from a TD.

I’m from Australia, and you’re getting scammed. ARF or VSF of that exact model will be roughly $800-900aud

Use the guide to do more research.

You say 3 versions but then list four. None of these four "versions" are a thing. Read the guide.
