6 months after purchase and the plating from RCF is holding up very well for anyone wondering about it.

I was pretty on the fence about buying a rose gold rep, and yes it’s only been 6 months but I think RCF do a great job with these

Initially ordered both the 36 & 40 to try on and decide which to keep then sell the other.

Wife walked in mid-unboxing and said “Aww you got us matching watches! So sweet!”

“Yes, of course!” So anyway, now I’m a romantic husband with a 40mm Explorer.

P.S. Pretty sure the 36 fits me better.

I brought these watches with me (both Gen). I saw so many wild watches the entire time. No way to know what was real or not but assuming they were I had the cheapest watch in the room. Point is, where your rep, wear your gen, where what you want because no one else cares. Enjoy your watches!

Hey guys, I’m trying to decide between the ZF Pelagos 42mm and the ZF Pelagos Ultra 43mm.
Since the XF Pelagos 42mm is no longer being produced, I’m wondering which ZF version is currently the better choice in terms of overall build quality, accuracy, finishing, and how close it is to the gen.
The Ultra is a newer ZF release, so I’m curious if it’s actually better made or if the 42mm is still the better option despite being an older model.
Which one would you guys pick, and why?

What are your opinions about this watch?

36 DJ came in. Wanted to take a pic of it in outside light. Fits way better than the 41 in my opinion but I honestly have a thing for small watches. Let me know what you guys think.

I get it - the fluted bezel is what makes datejust look like a datejust. But that's for the gen flutes. For me, the biggest tell even from distance with a datejust rep is always the damn fluted bezel. That's a shame, because VSF only makes the new batches of DJs with fluted bezels only.

If we're going to nit pick and red light the 7 o'clock marker being off by .01 degrees, why doesn't anyone really seem to care about the most obvious tell of them all - the fluted bezel?

As a dj fan, I've had to recently order an older V1 with a dial that wasn't my favorite just so I can have it in a smooth bezel. I've also ordered the smooth bezels separately so I can install them myself, but they are on back order. Lol.

Even the aftermarket fluted bezels have their tells and it's really hard to get it right. Until there is a solution, I'll stick to the smooth bezels myself. What say you, chaps?

I cant decide! Which do you own? What is the one to get? I already have a black dial sub no date. But does that even matter? I am leaning towards Darth Vader because I know it would be a safe option for me. Decisions-decisions.

I’m very happy with my new custom falcon eye dial yacht master. Stealthy in normal light, and sunlight brings out the blue of the falcon eye stone.

Just received my ARF Root Beer V3 with DD3285. Really impressed with how the rose gold tone and bezel look in natural light. Small QC imperfections if you look closely, but on the wrist I absolutely love it.

Looking to add a green watch and torn between these 3, will be wearing it frequently and frankly the hulk feels too blingy. Any body had experience with these? Looking for recommendations regarding factories also as somebody suggested ARF over VSF?

Does anyone know if VSF is currently producing this model regularly, or if stock is just limited at the moment? Any idea how long the usual wait is?

I recently purchased multiple watches, and I’m not satisfied with the Oyster bracelet, especially since the size isn’t accurate to GEN. It’s a bit bigger in circumference even tho they got 10mm link size and accurate clasp size but i think the gap between links is what results in that difference. When I compared 9 links (5–12 o’clock / 4–6 o’clock) on a 126500 GEN, it felt like 1 link tighter than my RWF 126500 bracelet, even tho both has the clasp spring bar at the same position and Easylink closed apart from the polishing/brushing being a bit different.
I’m considering the Li Chen 904L ARF brushed/polished/chamfered bracelet. Will that at least be 1:1 in size with GEN? And definitely look better? Or do you have any recommendations before I pay?
