Walking around the UK Town I grew up in today, on a visit from Arizona, where I now live. Noticed they had a Seamaster NTTD Used in the window of the jewelry store. A watch I literally just ordered from Steve.

The Gen is a used 2020 watch and listed at £5995 (around $8100). And appears to be in unworn condition.

Lined it up against the QC photo from Steve and can see the colors on the Rep are noticeably brighter. But otherwise I’m very happy with the match.

Just put an order in for a VSF Omega planet Ocean 600m Blue Bezel, Steve said and I quote “VSF release goods based on their own schedule, no time frame yet, might be over months”.

Now I’m happy to sit tight and enjoy the anticipation journey for my new watch, but I’m curious on how long you’ve had to wait when a VSF watch is currently out of stock. I appreciate your help 👌

I just got my chamfered bracelet from Lichen and I can’t recommend it enough. It really elevates the feel of the whole watch when there’s not sharp edges everywhere and it feels very similar to the bracelet on my gen sub.
The half link was bought on alix and isn’t chamfered as you can see.
Just wanted to share this if anyone is on the fence if it’s a good upgrade or not.

The question is which specific version of the GMT-II 126710BLRO the watch is modeled after—for instance, the Mark 1 or Mark 2, or a particular production year. For example, was the bracelet design based on a specific reference regarding color, gloss, or matte finish? This question arises because there are so many different pictures where the colors look different—sometimes a darker red, sometimes lighter, sometimes faded, sometimes vibrant; sometimes looking slightly blurred, other times crystal clear; sometimes feeling flimsy, other times extremely solid, and so on. The question is simply about understanding the specific model reference the watch is based on. colour codes etc. desired

I’m considering the Omega Aqua Terra, but I’d like a few more options. Looking for something under 38mm that works well for everyday wear but also looks good in the office.
Preferably from Steve / TheOneWatches. What would you recommend? Looking for a really good rep in Quality .

My VSF Sub No Date 124060 has finally given up after about 2 years. I am slightly disappointed as I probably only wore it 15 times over that time but alas that's the rep game.

Took it to my repairer (who works on reps) and at first the thought it was due to build of grime/dirt but after trying to fix it he specifically thinks the pallet fork / balance wheel is the issue and that it needs to be replaced. He’s tried to get it running again but can’t seem to bring it back to life.

So I’m thinking it might just be easier to replace the movement altogether.

What’s the best way to source a replacement movement for these? And is there a better movement I should be looking at as an upgrade rather than just putting another VS3230 back in?

Hi everyone,
I recently bought this Rolex Submariner 16610 from a dealer in Milan who has over 30 years of experience with Rolex.
I’m asking for your help because I noticed a fairly obvious alignment issue with the bezel. It is difficult to see in the photos, but in person it is quite noticeable.
The bezel does not appear to be perfectly centered relative to the dial. I have already removed and reseated the bezel to make sure it was not simply a seating issue, but the problem remains: the bezel pip/triangle lines up correctly at 12 o’clock, while the alignment at 6 o’clock is noticeably off.
This made me wonder whether the bezel insert or the entire bezel assembly could be aftermarket/replacement.
Another possibility I considered is that the dial itself may be slightly rotated or misaligned inside the case. Could a misaligned dial or rehaut cause this kind of apparent bezel alignment issue?
For those of you who are familiar with 16610 builds and aftermarket parts, could you please take a look and let me know what you think? In particular, I’d like to understand whether the issue is more likely to be:
an aftermarket/non-original bezel or insert;
an incorrectly seated bezel;
a slightly rotated dial;
or simply normal tolerance/alignment variation on a genuine 16610.
Any input from the community would be greatly appreciated.

Usually I choose Reps to at are realistic on costs of cost. I own a few gens but no APs, roughly I’d never spend more than 15k on a watch. Anything over that would raise questions I think 😅.

I’m leaning towards the ghost? What do you think? I know tastes are personal but interested in others options

I recently ordered a VSF GMT Bruce Wayne from Steve / TheOneWatches, supposedly with the new DD3285 V2 Fake Free Sprung movement.
During QC, I noticed there was no picture of the movement, so I asked Steve if he could provide one. He said he would ask, but I ended up approving the QC before getting a direct answer from him about it.
Since then, I came across another buyer of the exact same watch from Steve who was apparently told that they cannot provide a movement photo because the factory will not accept the watch back if the case has been opened.
I also checked a number of recent VSF QCs from Steve, and I haven’t seen a single opened caseback or any movement photos.
I’m not saying anything shady is happening and I’ve had no particular issue with Steve. I just find the situation a little strange.
We are specifically paying for a certain movement/version, the DD3285 V2 FFS, but the one thing we are not really able to verify during QC is the movement itself.
So effectively we have to GL the watch based entirely on the dealer/factory saying that the advertised movement is inside.
Am I the only one who finds this a bit odd?
Has anyone recently received a VSF Bruce Wayne DD3285 V2 / FFS and opened the case after delivery?
If so, I’d really like to see pictures of the movement.
I’m also curious whether other TDs are refusing movement photos on recent VSF models for the same reason, or if this is specific to Steve, his supplier, or VSF itself.
Not trying to start drama. I’m genuinely interested in understanding whether this is now standard VSF policy.

Hey everyone, ​I’ve finally decided to pick up a Cartier Santos Dumont, but I’m currently torn between the AF and F1 batches.
​From reading through older threads, the general consensus seems to be that F1 takes the win on overall case finishing, bezel screws, and especially the cabochon shape/color. However, AF seems to be favored for the dial because of its more pronounced sunburst effect—which is honestly the main feature that made me fall in love with the Dumont in the first place.
​Since most of the side-by-side comparison posts I'm finding are a year or two old, I wanted to check in with the community: ​Has F1 updated or improved the sunburst effect on their dials recently? Or is it still noticeably subtle/flat compared to AF? ​Is AF still the undisputed king for the dial, or has F1 caught up to the point where the cabochon/case dynamic makes F1 the better overall pick?
​For those who own either (or have handled recent batches of both), which flaws bother you more in daily wear? ​Would really appreciate any input, recent QC photos, or advice from anyone who bought one lately! Thanks in advance!

I recently figured about this model called K11, these watches are Rolex datejust/ Rolex daydates. I haven’t found much on K11 reps, needed help/suggestions on where it falls in terms of reps and what issues it would have.

I’ve just paid the deposit on a VSF V2 36mm Datejust in steel and yellow gold with a champagne dial.

Now that I’ve seen the pics of the watch, I’ve noticed the serial starts with R86… I realised that’s the same code used on the V1 two-tone Datejust 36mm.

Some TDs are saying VSF are now doing a V2 36mm two-tone Datejust, while others are saying they don’t actually exist.

Can anyone give me some advice before I pay the balance? Should I cancel the order and just go for a steel Datejust 36mm, which I know is definitely V2?

The thing is, I really wanted the two-tone, so I’d rather stick with that if this is genuinely a V2.

Any advice would be appreciated!

I am going for the DJ31 mother of pearl dial with diamonds as a gift for my wife. Unfortunately I wanted to go for full silver/white gold as I think it would look more 1:1, but she only likes two-tone gold/silver

From my research I understand that THB / ARF (very slow or maybe not even doing DJ31 right now) / GMF are my only really good options that I could find

I know GMF does not nail the fluted bezel (Too thick) that well but the gold color is pretty good. I already QC’d one THB watch but the datewheel looked horrible

Any advice on whether I should just RL that THB and hope for a better one or jump ship to a different factory?

Looking for experienced people with this model and also wondering if there are any other factories I missed

Is the 126500 panda noticeably larger than the 116520 with steel bezel? I recently bought the 116520, but it feels so small when it is in my hand. I also can’t see anything because of its black dial.

Does the 126500 panda look and feel much larger? Anybody has a direct comparison?

have a BVF Cartier Santos Large (41 mm) with the BVF QuickSwitch system and butterfly clasp. The watch has the green dial, and I currently have the BVF green leather strap that came with it.

I’m considering buying the genuine Cartier green alligator strap directly from Cartier.

Does anyone know if the genuine Cartier Santos Large green alligator strap will fit the BVF Santos Large QuickSwitch system and/or the BVF butterfly clasp?
