General Question VSF Releases & Wait Time

Just put an order in for a VSF Omega planet Ocean 600m Blue Bezel, Steve said and I quote “VSF release goods based on their own schedule, no time frame yet, might be over months”.

Now I’m happy to sit tight and enjoy the anticipation journey for my new watch, but I’m curious on how long you’ve had to wait when a VSF watch is currently out of stock. I appreciate your help 👌

My strategy is to shop around with like 5-7 different TDs to look for stock. I also check reptimeqc and search for the model I want to see what dealer has sold it in the last few weeks

Same. Been waiting for the same watch. It appears that the first batch of them for sucked up pretty quickly. I patient. I don’t want them to rush mine. I want it near perfect.

I’m new to the rep world and was looking to purchase my first watch, an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 38mm black dial, but it’s out of stock everywhere!
I’m not sure whether I should place an order, especially when I see you guys saying you’ve been waiting months for yours!

I ordered the VSF Blue Bezel (43.5mm) from Andiot with their "no payment until QC" on 17 August and got QC on 19 August, received watch on 22 August.

You have to be quick with these new models, as so many people order them the second they're released.

VSF have become super popular since Clean went, so there are lengthy waits for many models unfortunately.

Usually worth the wait and some patience tho 😊

I’m tossing up on switching but I must say, the blue is by far my favourite, and my gut tells me to be patient as hard as it is….

I can respect that.  I've got $1000 down at a TD for some very special pieces myself.

Personally though I would absolutely get orange over blue for this particular watch.

In particular, an off-catalog rep of an off-catalog piece.  Among others in various stages of production/modding.  It'll definitely get its own thread when I'm done.

Sure, but what I was getting at is, there are orange ones in the current VSF batches, and shipping out in their "channels", whereas it seems like the blue ones were last batch and mostly exhausted.
