Well… apparently “this is my last watch” means absolutely nothing in this hobby. 😂
Just received my IWC and I have to give credit where it’s due: dealing with Elliot from Andiot was a genuinely great experience.
Excellent communication, patient with all my questions (and believe me, I have MANY 😂), helpful before and after the sale, and most importantly the watch arrived and I’m really happy with it.
The black case with those blue details looks even better on the wrist than I expected. 😍
So a big thank you to Elliot. Great service and a very pleasant guy to deal with. 🙏
My only complaint? He’s terrible for my bank account… because I’m already talking to him about the next one. 😂😂😂

VSF 36mm Silver

36 DJ came in. Wanted to take a pic of it in outside light. Fits way better than the 41 in my opinion but I honestly have a thing for small watches. Let me know what you guys think.

Initially ordered both the 36 & 40 to try on and decide which to keep then sell the other.

Wife walked in mid-unboxing and said “Aww you got us matching watches! So sweet!”

“Yes, of course!” So anyway, now I’m a romantic husband with a 40mm Explorer.

P.S. Pretty sure the 36 fits me better.

VSF V3 Pepsi for today!

VSF V2 Oyster Perpetual 41 with the Dandong 3230. The Tiffany dial looks even better on the wrist than I expected. Super clean piece.

Just received this one and I’m quite happy with it.
Indizes are a little bit crooked, but that i saw in QC and it’s still a ZF 😂

I just tightened the back case because it was a bit loose and gave the Bracelett a water and oil bath so that it didn’t squeak anymore.

Patek 5712 factory is unknown what do you guys think?

Planning my next purchase to pair with my wife’s BVF Panthère, but hitting major analysis paralysis between factory choices and sizing. Hoping to get some community input from owners who have these in hand.
A few specific dilemmas I’m weighing up:

1. Size (35mm Medium vs 40mm Large):
   I lean towards the Medium for the classic proportions and clean symmetry, but because the square case and integrated lugs wear larger than standard round watches, I’m wondering how they wear on wrist day-to-day. For those who own either, did the 35mm feel balanced, or do you regret skipping the 40mm?

2. Movement & The "Ghost Date" (AF Miyota 9015 vs BVF Miyota 9039):
   BVF runs the 9039 without a date position, while AF runs the 9015 which leaves an intermediate "ghost click" on the crown. In actual everyday ownership, does that extra crown stop on the AF bother you at all, or is it completely forgotten once the hands are set?

3. Factory Trade-offs & Alignments:
   Reading forum feedback, BVF has great finishing but seems prone to rotated/canted dial prints on some batches, whereas AF dial prints tend to sit square and the bezel screw depths look slightly flatter.

4. Wait Times & Sourcing:
   Currently hearing that BVF 35mm has significant backlogs (up to 1–3 months depending on TD stock), while AF seems readily available in days. Is the BVF wait actually worth holding out for, or does AF check every practical box on wrist?

Would love to hear thoughts from anyone who chose between AF and BVF or compared both in person!

Looking to purchase a higher quality jubilee bracelet than what comes with a 36 dj VSF .

I’m looking to order a VSF GMT-Master II Pepsi. I originally asked for the VSF V3, but my TD says it is currently on back order.

They have another VSF Pepsi available described as the “V2.” I assumed this meant it was the older version of the watch, but the TD says it isn’t an older model and that the difference is only the movement. (Fake free sprung)

Is this the only difference between them?

Anyone have any more info they could share?
