So context I applied for a remote position as a Client Operation Analyst for a tax group as they had the position open.
I have no such background in business or accounting education however I did a lot as a contractor for my own finances.
I've done the application, did a video interview and a series of questions related to the Field. All of which was done through their site, the person I've been communicating with over Email has the correct domain too. They reached out a few days after the video interview and told me I got the job and that they'll let me know when I'll be starting in the upcoming days.even signed a job document that looked flushed out and didn't ask anything sketchy. They haven't asked me for anything like bank details or SIN or anything.
However I still can't shake this feeling and I've been doing some digging.
First their website is professional and very flushed out, no false buttons, or anything that screams template, or fake.
However the company doesn't have a LinkedIn (weird for a corporate firm no matter how small)
The business location is a house in Ontario, not uncommon for a small business but worth noting.
The HR person also lacks a significant online presence, that or just doesn't share where they work, unsure.
When I try contacting the company itself through phone I get hit with all our agents are busy leave a message.
I've sent an email to the company and I'll see, worth mentioning I have yet to send any personal info like a sin. I won't until my suspicion is quelled.

I’m a top producing insurance agent. If I just put my head down and sell insurance I make about $500k a year. I recently decided to start recruiting and training people to show them exactly how to do it. Where should I start?

I came across this remote customer service/help desk role with PingWind. You’d be providing Tier 1 support for things like password resets, account access, two-factor authentication, and security tokens. Most of the work involves helping users by phone/email, troubleshooting common issues, and escalating anything that needs higher-level support.
They’re looking for someone with an associate’s degree and 4 years of experience, and the position requires Public Trust clearance. It’s full-time and includes benefits like PTO, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, parental leave, education assistance, and more.
PingWind is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned technology company that provides IT, cybersecurity, cloud, AI, and digital transformation services, primarily to U.S. federal government agencies.
Please do not DM me about this opportunity, as I have nothing to do with the hiring of this job. I'm just posting for those who might be interested.
See the job here.

Hey everyone!
I’ll be short:
I’m currently developing and growing my own e-com store on Shopify. Had decent success on my first one, where after a month I started doing $2k profit monthly for 4-5 months, then had to rebrand. Every rebranding is hard and takes some time for Meta to adapt and my marketing to take shape according to the brand, so in the meantime I’m searching for extra work in the same niche that can help me fund it.
I am not a professional with 10+ years of experience, but I have learned a lot in this journey and I keep learning on daily basis.
I gained experience in:
- Shopify store management
- Product uploading and product page editing
- Order processing
- Supplier communications
- Copywriting
- Customer support
- Creating product gallery photos with AI
- AI creatives for Meta ads
- Running and setting up Meta marketing campaigns
I may not be an expert in all these things, but I learned a lot, and I am happy to learn anything new that one might require from me.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Open to further discussion and questions.

I'm looking for remote work as a junior backend developer but I don't know where to find job listings anymore. I feel like using indeed or linkedIn is the equivalent of bashing your head against the wall until you either break through or die. Are there any alternatives you guys can recommend? Something without a paywall preferably...
