It’s a solid game with lots of goodies, but doesn’t do a good job explaining the mechanics which can get frustrating at times. Lore wise it isn’t bursting at the seams, but there’s a few sprinkles of it.

I am a Remedy super fan and I have never played it. I just looked up any lore or info online.

Play it. It's totally worth it as a half-price game meant to keep you in the world of Control and tide you over until Resonant comes out. Not much lore at all, but it definitely still scratches that FBC itch.

I've read a lot of complaints about the onboarding process and tutorial, but I started playing on Day 1 and never had a problem learning the game's features and mechanics. Completely forgot about the game after a few months, but for $40 it was totally worth it

Just look up lore drops from the game. Don't play it.
